Day out.

From 7:55 in first period, to 2:15 at the end of sixth period, Y/n has been getting hurt. 1994 was never a good year for her, and with her new high school year of ninth grade, it got worse. 

It wasn't that she wasn't pretty; she used to be quite the popular girl. It wasn't that she was stupid; in fact, she has good grades and can still manage after school activities. It wasn't that she wasn't kind; everyone used to be her friends. 

Until they figured out that she loves girls.

"Faggot," someone hissed into her ear. She didn't bother looking at her tormenter of the day, considering that she can't see out of one eye from swelling and the other from tears. "You are a sin." Y/n curled up on the cold concrete, blood from her nose leaking out. She got kicked once more and the person seemed to have vanished. "Stay away from her, Aaron!" A female voice yelled. So that's who's attacking her. Then who's helping her? "Joey, why are you even defending a shit head like that?" "leave her the fuck alone!" Joey screamed. Aaron seemed to have run away and Y/n felt a soft hand hold up her head. "Y/n, you okay girly?" Joey said in a soft voice. "Yeah, doing just fine Jo." She smiled lightly and the dark haired female helped up the injured one. "We have to go back to the nurse's office. For the third time this week." Joey sighs. Y/n laughs, then coughs when her stomach started hurting. 

"You know we can leave the school, right?" Joey asked. She had patched up the girl she was in love with, and was sick of doing so. Y/n doesn't deserve all this abuse, she is a perfect girl! Y/n sighed. "Don't tell me Jude roped you into his alien antics," She teased, hugging the girl close. "I don't want you to get stitches from falling out the tree house again." Joey smiled sheepishly before going serious again. "I know it sound silly, but remember how I couldn't respond for a few months?" Y/n nodded. "Well, I found a portal to a place called Alternia. Aliens life there, they're called trolls and this guy named Xefros said we could stay a little while." She took her girlfriend by the hands, smiling brightly. "We don't have to be near these doofuses." Y/n smiled and nodded. "Might as well play up to this scheme." She kissed Joey on the nose and they giggled together. "C'mon, we can skip sixth!" Joey led the girl out of the nurse's office and they rushed to Joey's house, ready for the adventure.

"You w-weren't pulling my leg." Y/n stuttered out. Joey smirked and they got sucked up a tube that was bright green. "Xef will see us soon, he needs to alert Dammek that people are coming." Joey held Y/n close in her arms and smiled softly. Y/n was holding on, terrified, but stayed determined to continue the adventure. 

"Aww, aren't you two adorable?" "Dammek, shh." Y/n opened her eyes to see two grey-skinned, candy-corn-horned, yellow-eyed trolls. She squeaked and hid behind Joey. "Xefros, Dammek!" Joey said brightly, hugging the two males. "This is Y/n, my girlfriend that I've been telling you about. Y/n, this is Dammek-" She pointed at one of them that had sweet shades and tall horns. "-and this is Xefros!" The other troll waved and gave a shy smile. He was adorable. "Welcome to Alternia, where there are no Aarons or other bullies!" Joey cheered. Y/n smiled brightly.

"Well, the adventure awaits. Want to go explore?"
