(Story from KKarkat's point of view)

I took a deep breath. Tonight was the night. I got up on the stage.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I PRESENT, THE AMAZING AMPORA AND HIS ASSISTANT KARKAT VANTAS!"

I pointed to myself and walked towards where fish breath was standing. Of course as usual, only about 20 people showed up. Why?

Eridan isn't a magician. He calls himself a science magician and talks about science and does magic tricks. The 20 person audience was actually a bunch of teenagers from the local high school (which I also attend).

I looked at the audience as I was picking someone for the "Saw in half" trick. I spied a blonde kid in the third row with sunglasses and a indifferent look on his face. As I set my eyes on him, he gave me a confident smirk. I blushed.

"YOU THERE IN THE SECOND ROW! GHOST BUSTER SHIRT."

"Oh wow!," I heard him say.

"Okay! Now, get in the box," Eridan then whispered the usual instructions for the trick.

"Now, we will be sawing JOHN EGBERT in half with the power of SCIENCE!," He exclaimed.

I couldn't stop looking at the blonde kid. Trying to figure out his grade. He looked a year older than me. I was finally brought back by Eridan's voice.

"Kar, pick another member of the audience!"

"HMMMM, YOU WITH THE SUNGLASSES."

His cocky smirk got even bigger as he sauntered up to the stage for the card trick.

"Pick a card! Any card!"

He picked one and showed it to everyone as instructed, but he paused the card in front of me so I could see it. It was the King of Hearts. Was it a message?

"Put it in the deck."

Eridan shuffled the cards and picked one.

"With the power of SCIENCE I have selected your card."

The show went on for about 40 more minutes. By the end of it, I was curious wether or not the card was a sign or not. I didn't have to question it long.

"Yo Karkles!," The boy yelled.

He must know Terezi.

"Wanna hang out later?"

"FUCK, WHY NOT?"

"Okay see you later. Meet me at the Meocifer Diner (Oh yes I did)."

"OKAY."

Wait, isn't that the anime cat resteraunt? Whatever he seems kinda cool and cute.... Wait what?

I was waiting outside when Dave walked up.

"Hey, let's go in okay?"

We walked in and got a table. A waitress came up asking for drinks. We both got Pepsicola ( >::3 ).

"So, like rom-coms?"

"I FUCKING LOVE THEM."

"Cool. Me too."

"SO, WHAT WAS WITH THE CARD TRICK?"

He froze.

"You know Terezi right? Well, she made me go this when way to a class and it went through where most of the (Insert Grade) classes are. I think Nepeta made a set up...."

"I REMEMBER THAT."

*Flashback*

"Karkitty!," An excited voice yelled," Lets walk to class togefurr!"

"FINE."

She grabbed my hand and ran down the hall. She went past the classroom and ran over to Terezi and some cool kid wannabe.

"Hey Nepeta!,"Terezi greeted.

"Hey Mewrezi!"

They then just ran off giggling.

"So.... Wanna walk to class?"

"SURE."

*End Flashback*

"This sounds creepy, but I couldn't stop thinking about you."

"UH, IT'S FINE. I COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU AT THE MAGIC SHOW."

We laughed.

"Your the King of my heart," Dave said

"WHAT?"

"You asked about the card."

"OH."

"Do you wanna, you know, date?"

I kissed his cheek.

"II'd love too," I whispered.
