How could he do this? Why? My old friend- my lover....

*Flashback*

"Hey fii5hface!"

"Vwhat Captor?"

"Love ya!"

I smiled. We were heading out on our 5th date. I drove my red roofless cruiser as I stared up at the night sky. We were heading to an outdoor movie like the greaser humans go to. I found a spot and parked the car. I had bought tickets to troll Grease. No surprise there. When it got to the end, where the chick starts singing "Better Shape Up" Mituna looks at me and gives me a peck on the cheek. I return the action and we both blush our relative colors.

The movie soon ended and Mituna looked at me and smiled.

"Better 5hape up fii5hface!"

*present*

I stared at the couple. Latula and Mituna. Laughing together and smiling.

"L0V3 YU0 7UL1P!"

"Love you too babe."

I started to tear up. Why had it happened??

*Flashback*

I started to drive out of the lot with Mituna next to me. A light flashed red and we stopped. I could see a man in a green t-shirt driving towards us. I expected him to go to the right of us, where the other cars went. But no. He drove towards us faster, faster. At the last second, I blocked Mituna with my arm. It wasn't enough.

I called 911. Took Tuna to the hospital I rode in the ambulance next to him. The man in the green t-shirt smirked. His dead white eyes mocked me and my pain and he disappeared. I didn't care I was to worried about Tuna.

The doctors diagnosed him with severe brain damage. He came out of the room he was in mumbling about honey.

"Hey honey bee!"

I tried, he didn't understand. I put my hand on his back.

"Your okay nowv right?"

"570P 70UCH1NG M3!"

I stepped back, stung by his words.

"O-okay Tuna."

I drove him to his hive and helped him to his respite block. All the while him yelling: 570P!

It hurt. It hurt more that I still loved him. Eventually, he drifted more and more away from me. And more and more towards Latula.

*End Flashback*

I walked home from the skate park and ran to my hive. I sat on the floor and sobbed. As I lit a smoke.

"I'm sorry Tuna. I couldn't keep you. I couldn't keep you safe"

It started to rain and I knew there were no answers.

"Lovwe you too, Tuna."
