(John's P.O.V)

Dave is throwing another wild party, and he invited all of our friends along.
The problem is... I didn't want to be there because I've heard rumors that Dave's parties end up sexualized in some way. Also, father told me to not drink the drinks, and that I should bring my own.
He's just paranoid.
My best bro, is adored by many people and trolls because of his 'Cool kid demeanor.'
He managed to convince me to come to the party, because he'll promise I'll have a good time. Plus, I have nothing better to do.
So here I am, in front of the building, which Dave rented out, with help from Feferi.
I can hear the music blasting out from outside, and I'm not even in there!
Maybe this was a bad choice... I already came all this way... So, might as well make the most of it.
"So, when should I come and pick you up?" Father asked.

"I brought my phone with me, so, I'll call you."

"Okay. Have fun, son. But not too much fun." He chuckled.

I nodded, and waved at my father.
I hesitantly went inside the place, my ears instantly feeling like they were going to rip off.
The beat of the music could be heard bouncing off of my chest.
I could tell Dave was the DJ, since he has this certain style to his sick raps.
At least, that's what everyone says, but they make no sense to me.

"Heeeeeeeey John!!!!!!!! You're finally here! What took you so long?"
The familiar long letter sound could be heard even in the pounding music.
I could tell it was Vriska right away, after hearing the first word.
"Oh, Hi Vriska! There was a bit of traffic. How have you been?"

"I've been doing great!"
Suddenly, the music style changed to a rock song, and I could tell Dave was taking a small break.

"Oh my gosh, this is my jam! John, dance with me!" Giggled Vriska, as she dragged me to the dance floor.

"W-wait, I don't dance! Vriska!"

She started to dance, while I stood there awkwardly.
I really can't dance. Well... I'll try to at least.
I shook my hips side to side, making awkward hand gestures. Just don't think awkward, and you'll be fine! It works like that, I think.
Then, when the music had reached the chorus, I jumped up and down, pumping my fist to the air.
"Whoo! Go Egbert!" Vriska followed my action.

I looked around the dance floor.
I can see Latula dancing with Mituna, Nepeta and Equius.
There's Jade, Rose, Jane, and Jake.
Eridan and Feferi were by the drinks, and they look fine.
I wonder why father told me to bring my own drink, which I did.
I brought a coke can and a water bottle.
"I'm thiiiiiiiirsty now. Want to go and get a drink?" Vriska asked when the song ended.
"Sure!"
We walked over to the drinks and snacks section. I poured a glass of punch for Vriska, then grabbed a cookie.
We sat down at a table.
I nibbled on my cookie, bored with the party already. All you can really do is dance, eat, drink and talk.
Like the ones they host in schools sometimes.
Dave walked over to us.
"You enjoying the party?" He asked.
Well... I think I should be honest, so it could help improve his hosting party skills. If there's such thing as that.
"To be honest, it's boring."

He nodded.
"It's about to get interesting." He pointed over at Vriska.
I looked over, noticing a faint Cerulean dusted on her cheeks.

"Vris? Are you sick?" I asked, placing a hand on her forehead.

"Noooooooo. I feel fantastic!" She giggled like Feferi.

"Dense as always, Egbert." Said Dave, smirking.
Roxy looked like she was already drunk, but I don't see any alcohol.
Maybe she was drunk first then came here.

"Let's spice this party up!" Called out the Dirk, removing a cloth which revealed a karaoke machine.

He began singing terribly to
'HeartBreaker'
I groaned, and I feel like my ears are ringing.
"I think I'll go home now... I don't feel too well..." I said.

"Already? Mew should have some furr-un" Said Nepeta, glomping me.
I chuckled.
"Well, it would be rude to just leave."

"Yay!"

"We should play a game." Said Dave

Ooh dear. Not a game. Anything but that.
"Actually, why don't we wa-" I got cut off, as the others applauded to Dirk.
I clapped as well, since he had the bravery to just sing in front of everyone.

"Well, as I was say-" I was interrupted by Karkat singing a custom song.

"Karkalicious definition, makes Terezi loco..."

"Actually, I'll tell you later." I said, paying attention to the trolls and people singing to the karaoke machine.
They all have fantastic singing voices.
Maybe not Roxy actually...
Her voice was off pitch, and she was singing loudly too.
By then, I checked the time, noting that it was only 8:00 pm.
Time either passed by really slow in life or really fast. Isn't it strange?
By then, I forgot what I was going to say, going on stage next.
I decided to just sing the Ghostbusters theme song.
I bowed after everyone clapped, giggling slightly.

"Guys! Let's play spin the bottle- Truth or Dare!" Said Roxy, slurring her words.

"That'd be motherfuckin' fun. Let's use my faygo bottle!" Gamzee chuckled.

I do not like where this is going so far...
Gamzee span the bottle, and it pointed at Eridan.
"I dare you to kiss your kismesis and slap your moirail."

Eridan grumbled, and slapped Feferi, than kissed Vriska.

"I suddenly have to go to the washroom, be right back!" I said, dashing off.

I locked the door, and got out my phone.
"Hello? Hi dad. Can you come pick me up early?... No, I'm just feeling really uncomfortable." I nodded.

"See you soon, dad."

I'm not use to one shots because it just stops in one chapter...
I normally make a whole book with different chapters. Welp, I hope you guys liked this chapter. ^^
