"Alright, I'll see you later then." You laugh as you hop out of the car.

You look up at your partner's house, excited to see him again. You had been forced to move states with your family, so you rarely get to see him. Of course you both message and video message on occasion. But you had seriously missed seeing him in person. So today you decided to surprise him by visiting him. His dad and younger brother knew about you visiting. You just hoped Gamzee wouldn't accidentally spill the fact you were coming.

You walk up to the front door and knock. The door swing open to reveal Kurloz's dad.

"Ah, (y/n), welcome back."

You grin at the extremely tall troll, "why hello there sir, good to see you."

"Likewise," he nods, "care to come in."

"Thank you." You reply curtly and walk in.

"Kurloz should be back in about 15 minutes."

You nod and go to wait in the lounge, where Gamzee was already sitting, watching TV.

"Hey there Gamz." You greet, taking a seat.

He looks over at you and grins, "well hey there, long time no see."

"Indeed." You laugh.

"Want one?" Gamzee asks, holding up his bottle of Faygo.

"Ooh, yes please." You giggle, holding a hand out.

He chuckles and hands you the bottle, which you gratefully drink from before giving it back.

"Thanks for that."

"No problem."

The two of you sit in almost silence as you watch TV. A grin etches onto your face when you hear the door open. You hear GHB say something about Gamzee wanting him in the lounge. Footsteps make their way towards you. You look up at the doorway to see Kurloz walk in. When his eyes land on you, they widen.

You jump to your feet, "why hello there dear."

Kurloz instantly pulls you in for a hug. You giggle and wrap your arms around his waist.

"Well aren't you happy to see me?" You chuckle.

Kurloz pulls away far enough to quickly press his lips to yours. He then let's go of you and begins signing.

'Why didn't you tell me you were coming home?'

"I wanted to surprise you of course!" you giggle.

He rolls his eyes, but smiles none the less. He takes a hold of your hand and begins to pull you up to his room. You hadn't been up there for quite a while, but you were pretty sure it'd look the exact same. You walk into his room to prove that your suspicions were correct; it still looked like the inside of a voodoo shop. You smile at the familiarity of it. You shuffle over and sat down on his bed.

"Man I missed this place." You sigh.

You yelp and duck when Kurloz jumps onto the bed, nearly wiping you out.

"Watch i-"

You're cut off by Kurloz pulling down and wrapping his arms around you.

"Man, I never knew you to be such a softie."

You feel Kurloz's chest vibrate in a silent chuckle against your back. You let out a grunt as you turn to face him. You smile as you reach over and poke his cheek. You laugh as you watch his nose scrunch up. You slide you hand to cup his cheek, slightly smudging his makeup. But this didn't seem to bother him as he closes his eyes and leans into your touch. You lean forward, pressing a kiss to his forehead, then his cheeks before pressing a kiss to his lips.

"Oh yeah, I'll be staying for a month," you chuckle, "so you'll have to deal with me for a while."

Kurloz's eyes seem to light up at the mention of your long stay. He hums and presses his lips to your forehead before hiding his face in your hair. You close your eyes and relax, happy to finally be somewhere you loved to be.
