What's this? An update? Wow!

A whole week trapped inside was driving you crazy. It had been raining and there wasn't really anything for you to do besides go to work, watch movies and read. So it had become kind of repetitive.

You shuffle slightly in your spot on the couch. As you continue to read your book, your mind begins to drift. Your eyes go lazy and you can no longer focus on the words. Once you notice that you had stopped reading, you groan and bookmark your page, sitting it beside you on the arm. You glance towards the window, watching the downpour occurring outside.

Finally, after staring out of the window for what felt like forever, you get an idea. You look around you, searching for your phone. When you don't see it, you frown. You pat your front pockets, and then your back. You sigh in relief when you find it in your back pocket. You run through your contacts until you find the right one. You press the phone to your ear, waiting for them to pick up.

"Hey Tyz'." You chime into the phone.

"Hi (y/n)." she responded, sounding just as tired as usual.

You continue small talk for a while, figuring out that she had been working all week, since the rain had only kept her inside.

"Well, how about we go out," you hum, "maybe that new café that open last month?"

"Uh, I guess I could use a break," she sighs, "but only for a couple hours, then I have to get this work done."

"Yay," you cheer, "I'll pick you up in about 15 minutes."

And with that you say goodbye and begin to get ready. You slip on your jumper and a scarf, grab your bag and head off.

You were so excited to see your girlfriend.

Finally, after picking up Tyzias and driving down town, you finally reached the café. You hop out of the car and the both of you rush inside as to not get drenched. You find a seat near one of the window, since it wasn't very busy.

Inside was nice and warm, in both temperature and colour. Although the metal chair you just sat on was a bit chilly.

"Man, it feels like ages since we've seen each other." You sigh.

"You came with me to Tagora's party last week." She states, raising a brow.

"Eh, that's true," you shrug, "but it's still nice to catch up."

"You're right," Tyzias smiles, "it is good to see you. Work has been killing me."

"Yeah, it would be."

You nearly jump out of your skin when you notice a lady standing next to your table.

"Oh dear, I didn't mean to scare you there," the girl smiles apologetically, "I was just wondering if you were ready to order."

"Sure," you nod, "I'll get (fave drink) and (fave pastry)."

"I'll get a hot chocolate and a slice of cherry pie."

The woman nods before heading off.

"Also, I forgot to ask, how's the new house?" you ask Tyzias.

"It's pretty good," she nods, "quite spacious."

Just as she was about to say something else, the woman returns with our food and drinks.

"Please enjoy." And with that she walks off once again.

You pick up your cup and begin drinking, humming in satisfaction.

"So, I was just wondering if you wanted to move in with me?"

You let out a gasp of shock, choking on your drink in the process. You sit your cup down and manage to not spit out your mouthful.

"I'm sorry, did you just..." you trail off.

"I asked if you wanted to move in with me."

You were pretty sure your brain stopped working for a moment.

"Are you serious?" you ask.

"Yep."

You grin, holding yourself back from jumping over the table to hug her.

"Of course I will!"

"You're getting crumbs everywhere, (y/n)."

"Not my fault these cookies are crumbly."

Tyzias leans against you as you continue to watch the movie.

"Also, on Monday I'll be working late," Tyzias tells you, "I'll get home at about 10."

"Alright, I'll leave dinner for you in the fridge." You mumble.

"Thanks." She presses a kiss to your temple, taking one of your biscuits.

The both of you stay snuggled in your new shared home.
