You were hiding from the hot sun underneath a shady tree. You were leaning against the trunk of the tree, a book in your hand. You were in your front yard, waiting for your boyfriend. The weather was quite ghastly, as it was the middle of summer. You were clad in tank top and shorts. You were entranced by the book you were reading that you didn't notice the curly haired skateboarder coming towards you. He was skating pretty fast and didn't seem to be slowing down.

There's a loud crash and you jump, dropping your book.

"Fucking shit, dammit!" a familiar voice shouts.

You look up to see Mituna on the ground, his skateboard a few metres away. He had pushed himself up into a sitting position. You gasp and get up onto your feet. You rush over to him and kneel beside him. You noticed that he had scrapes on his arms and legs.

"Are you okay Mituna?" you ask softly.

Mituna looks up at you with his odd coloured eyes, blinking for a second before smiling.

"I'm okay." He tells you.

"That's good," you smile, "let's go inside and clean up those scrapes."

You help Mituna to his feet and he shuffles along beside you. On the way inside you pick up his black and yellow skateboard. You sit him on the couch and go to get the first aid kit. You had one sitting in the lounge room, as you were used to Mituna injuring himself while skateboarding. You sit the kit down and open it. Before you began you pull his helmet off and run one of your hands through his curly, honey coloured hair. He giggles and leans into your touch. You sit beside Mituna and take an antiseptic wipe out.

"Can I have your arm?" you ask.

Mituna lifts one of his arms so you could begin cleaning it. You hear him curse under his breath as he lets you clean all of his scrapes and cover them up.

"Thank you (y/n)." Mituna grins happily, leaning against you.

"No problem, honey bee." you smile.

"It's hot." Mituna groans, laying his face against your chest.

You giggle at this.

"How about we go sit in the kiddy pool?" you ask him.

He doesn't say anything, but instead nods.

"Alright, let's go." You tell him and pull him to his feet.

You both walk out to the back yard, where there was in fact, a small inflatable pool sitting under the veranda. You didn't bother to remove any clothing as you hopped in. You sigh at the cooling feeling the water brought. You squeal when Mituna jumps in, splashing you. You giggle when he wraps his arms around you.

"This is much better." Mituna giggles.

You hum in agreement and lean against him, closing your eyes. You hear Mituna giggle as he leans into you, pressing his nose against your neck. The two of you just sit in the cool water, enjoying each other's company.
