The first thing you hear when you wake up is music. Not like, the music you usually listen to, but music that sounded like it was from an 8-bit game. You don't remember falling asleep, or where you were previously to waking up. All that you remember is that you had woken up, and that the music that was playing was not normal. You move slightly just to realise you were also lying on something hard and uncomfortable.

You open your heavy eyes to see nothing. Not a ceiling or the sky, just a black expanse. You sit up to look at your surroundings. Everything was the same expanse of blackness that was above you, even where the floor should be, there was just black. But somehow, you were standing on an invisible floor.

With shaky legs you get up off of the 'floor'. Although you don't move from your spot, scared of what would happen. Would you fall into the dark expanse? Would a trap be set off?

You let out a scared squeal when the sound of doors opening rings through your ears. You could hear it, but you couldn't see it. Only moments after that happens something appears a little in front of you. It was a stand, which you wouldn't to be able to see if it weren't for the white fluorescent lights that outlined the rectangular object. Sitting on top of the stand was a big red button.

You look down at the ground as you take your first step. When your foot safely plants itself on the non-existent ground, you continue to carefully walk until you reach the button. As soon as you step up to the button, bright white writing in all caps appeared floating above you.

'ARE YOU READY?'

You gulp as you look around as the nothing before looking back down at the button. You had no idea what was going to happen once you pressed it, but it would probably be better than spending eternity alone here.

You take a deep breath and press on the button.

'TIME TO PLAY!'

The next thing you knew you were in another room. It was much more different to the other room you had woken up in. The walls, ceiling and floor were still black, but there were random neon lights that decorated them. The music had changed from a quiet song to one that was much cheerier than before.

You look down at your feet to see that you were standing in a blue circle, and under your feet read 'PLAYER ONE'. You look around at the floor to see three other circles with writing in each of them.

'Oh boy.' You think to yourself as you wait for whatever was supposed to happen next.

You jump slightly when a woman's voice speaks up, "player 2 entering."

You look over at the red ring beside you as another person begins to appear before you. It was a male; he was a tall, lanky figure with honey brown hair. Once he finishes appearing, he looks around. When he notices you, you both lock eyes, you stare at his bi coloured eyes for a moment before you notice that his mouth begins to move. But despite the fact that you were only a couple metres away, you couldn't hear him at all.

"I can't hear you." You try to tell him.

He tries to step out of the ring towards you, but it was as if there was a force field, and he couldn't leave.

He just shrugs in response. Your non-conversation was cut off by the lady's voice.

"Player 3 entering."

You look over at the ring across from you, where a boy with blond hair and shades appears. He looks around, probably as confused as the both of you. When he notices the both of you he tries to talk, only for you and the other guy attempting to tell him you can't hear him.

Once you all establish you can't hear each other, all three of you sort of just stand around, waiting for player 4 to appear.

After what felt like forever, the woman's voice speaks up, "player 4 entering."

The three of you look over at the final green ring. The final person to appear was a girl, who had short, ginger hair, which was covered by a blue cat hat. She looks around with wide eyes before she notices the other three players. She smiles and waves, you wave in response. And just as the others had tried, she tries to speak, only for her voice to be unable to reach any of you.

"All players present," the disembodied voice of the woman speaks, "choose your weapons."

Just as she finishes her sentence a weird screen appears before you. 'Tap to begin.' It read. You tap on the screen and a selection screen appears. You begin to scroll though the weapons choices. It ranged from daggers to guns and other obscure weapons. In the corner was the number 3.

You scroll through the selection of weapons. You notice a rifle and click on it, the box it was in turned blue and the number went down to 2. So now you only had 2 more weapons to choose from. You end up choosing a hand gun and a large knife, just in case.

Once everyone had chosen their weapons, the screen disappears and a table with all of your weapons on it appear. There was also some extra ammo for your guns. Your knife's blade was encased in leather so you didn't accidentally cut yourself, so you slip is into the side of your belt. Your handgun had a holster so you connect it to your belt. Your rifle you held in your hands, ready for whatever was to come.

You look around at the others, noticing that they had similar sets of weapons.

"All players set," the voice speaks, "Planet of the Damned."

When you hear that you begin to freak out, 'what the hell is Planet of the Damned?!' you think.

The world of darkness and neon begins to dissipate around you until you're in yet another completely different world. You were standing alongside the other three players, in what seemed to be an abandoned building.

"Well shit." You hear someone mumble.

You look over to see that it was the blond who had spoken.

"So, does anyone remember how they got here?" you ask, hoping that one of the three would have even the smallest idea.

"No." they all chorus at the same time.

You sigh as you look around, your eyes scanning the ruined cement walls.

"So, what's everyone's names?" the short girl asks.

"(Y/n)." you speak up first.

"Sollux." The lanky guy is next.

"Dave." Shades Mcgee is third.

"Well, I'm Nepeta." The short girl grins.

"Well, now that's out of the way," Sollux begins, "considering the name of this 'game' is Planet of the Damned, I'm assuming that it's an apocalypse one."

Just as you were about to ask the next question the building shakes.

"Earthquake?" you wonder out loud.

Before anyone can answer there's a loud shrieking sound. You all snap up to look over at where the sounds came from. The door slams open and a bunch of weird, blue alien like creatures burst in. You point your gun at the one of them and fire. Once the bullet hits them and they burst into disgusting goo. After that initial shot, everything is a blur. You fired at any alien that came into your sight.

"Watch out!" you hear a voice.

As you go to turn you hear a gun go off and the disgusting feeling of the goo splatting onto your side. You wince slightly in disgust before you go back to shooting.

"Thank you!" you call out.

You let out a panicked sound when you run out of bullets for your rifle. As quickly as you can, you strap the riffle to your back and pull out your handgun. You begin shooting as you watch Nepeta shoot forward; on her hands were a pair of gloves, with six sharp knife like claws. She was cutting through the, alongside Dave, who had a katana. You could hear Sollux's two laser guns behind you.

Slowly the amount of aliens lessens, until they all on the ground as puddles of goo. You wipe your brows as you put your hand gun away.

"Oh shit," you go wide eyes, looking over at the other three, "we're in the middle of an alien invasion."
