I have one more request to do and then I'll be editing all of my previous one shots so requests will be closed. It shouldn't take long to edit them.

You wrap the scarf around your neck tighter as you trudge through the snow. You rub your nose, hoping that it would warm it up. But of course it doesn't and you're stuck not being able to feel your nose. Your coat was doing very little to keep you warm from your chilly surroundings. If you had known it was going to be this cold, you wouldn't have left the house. But of course, you couldn't break your promise to Latula. You had said that today you'd go to her hive to visit her.
You step onto a part of the path that wasn't covered in snow, only to fall straight onto your ass. You let out a pained groan as you wobble back onto your feet.
"Whoa, (y/n)," a familiar voice chimes, "what're you doing down there."
You look up at the building to see Latula hanging out of a window, a grin on her lips.
"Oh, y'know, just chillin'."
Latula groans and shuts the window, disappearing from sight. You make your way to Latula's front door, just as you get to the door, it swings open.
"Well hello there." Latula greets, as if she didn't just watch you fall onto your ass.
"Hi." You grunt.
"C'mon, I'll grab the sled and then we can get going."
"Wait, what?"
"Oh, didn't I tell ya," Latula hums, "we're going sledding today."
You almost groaned out loud, but decide to keep it to yourself.
"Alright, let's go."
~~~
"Man, you look awful."
"Thanks Latula."
Latula just laughs in response, taking a seat beside you. She hands you the bowl of soup and you gratefully take it. You shove a spoonful of the soup into your mouth and hum in delight at how good it tastes.
"Man, you make a killer soup." You chuckle, which turns into a coughing fit.
"Whoa, you okay?"
"Yep, all good." You manage to choke out, your voice strained.
"You could have told me that your jacket wasn't warm enough," Latula states, "I would've let you borrow one of mine."
"I think it's a little late for that."
"Fair point."
"So, wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure, what do you want to watch?" Latula asks you.
"Hmm, (fave movie)."
"Alright."
Latula gets up from her spot, leaving you to eat your soup. She rummages through her DVDs as you finish off your soup and sit the bowl down on the coffee table. Moments later Latula sits back down beside you. You lift the blanket and drape it over her, cuddling up to her side. You lean your head against her shoulder, ready to watch the movie.
Just as you had gotten comfortable a coughing fit starts. Your hands press against your chest as you continue to cough. It was painful on your throat and chest.
"Whoa." You hear Latula say between your coughs.
You feel a hand rub your back until your coughing stops. You lean your head back against the couch, wiping the stray tears from your cheeks.
"Ow."
"Just hold on tight, I'll go get you some water."
Latula hops up and runs off to the kitchen. She returns with the water and hands it to you. You chug the water down pretty fast, and it sort of helps with the pain.
"Here."
You look over at Latula to see her holding a throat lozenge out to you.
"Thank you."
You take it, unwrap it and pop it into your mouth.
"Now, let's enjoy this movie."
Latula sneaks back into the blankets with you.
"Thanks for all of this," you say, not taking your eyes off of the screen, "even if you are the reason I'm sick."
"Hey, just because you had a thin jumper and face planted straight into a giant pile of snow doesn't make anything my fault."
"Yeah, yeah."
You roll your eyes as you lean against Latula, it wasn't too long until your eyes were closed and you were softly snoring.
