Apologies to the Alien | Tagora x Reader

Don't ask about the title because I have no idea.

When you had moved out of home to live by yourself, you were not expecting to have a housemate so soon. But as you watch the strange man from your kitchen as he wandered around your lounge room. His clothes were torn and his skin littered with bruises and cuts, but he didn't seem to be very rattled. You pick up the glass and quickly fill it with water. You then walk back into the lounge.

"Here, drink this." You tell him, holding out the glass.

He pauses for a moment before taking the glass from you, gulping down the liquid.

Once he finishes you take the glass and sit it onto the coffee table.

"Alright, you can take a seat while I get something to clean up those cuts and scrapes.

He just nods and takes a seat. You were pretty sure he was in shock, but you weren't sure. Maybe he just didn't like talking. Either way it didn't matter, all you knew was that you needed to help him. You grab your first aid kit from your laundry and head back into the lounge room.

"Okay," you begin as you set the first aid kit onto the table, "I'm going to just clean you up, alright?"

He nods, giving you permission to clean his wounds. You smile and take out the antiseptic wipes. You sit down beside him and take a hold of his wrist you notice all of the tears in his shirt and gently pull it up, revealing his scratched up arm. As soon as the wipe touches his cut he flinches.

"Sorry." You mumble as you continue.

It took you a good half hour to finish cleaning him up. You weren't sure what had happened for him to be in the condition he was in. You had only found him in a field just outside of town. Maybe his ship crashed? Maybe you'd ask him about it another time.

"Alright," you say, closing the first aid kit, "now I'll let you borrow my bed since you seem to be pretty banged up."

The grey skinned male nods and follows me as I lead him to my room.

"If you need anything I'll be sleeping in the lounge room on the couch."

And with that you leave him to his own devices.

So, it turns out the grey skinned, horned man's name was Tagora. He was an alien from a planet by the name of Alternia. But he had no idea how he had arrived on your planet, or how he managed to get so scratched up. But it wasn't long before he was back in good health and talking once more. And god did you wish he'd shut the fuck up.

"So, I've made a list of products that I need you to obtain for me. I do realise that I am on an alien planet, so I've written what each of the products do, this should make it easier for you to find something of similar use," Tagora tells you, handing you a piece of paper, "I also realise that your income may vary, so the importance of each item goes from top to bottom, buy what you can and you can buy the other products at another time."

You huff and look at the list, "this is a long ass list."

"Yes, I do realise this," Tagora rolls his eyes, "that why-"

"Alright, geez, do you ever stop talking."

Without listening for a response, you storm out of the house. As you were driving down your street, you feel a pang of regret. Maybe talking to him like that was incredibly rude. You'd have to apologise to him once you got back from shopping.

~~~
After a several hour struggle you finally manage to find not only everything on your list, but also on Tagora's. You were lucky you had taken a few extra shifts at work so you just managed to afford it.
You lug in all of the bags and sit them on the kitchen counter. You take a breath and go searching for Tagora. It only took you two steps to find him in the lounge room, sitting on the couch and watching TV.
"Hey 'Gor," you greet, sitting beside him, "listen, I'm sorry about snapping at you earlier, I'm just really tired from work, but I guess that's no excuse."
You see Tagora give you a side glance, but he doesn't say anything.
"Tagora, you prick," you groan, leaning against him, "I bought all of that shit on your list."
This causes Tagora to look over at you, your noses brushing. You grin as Tagora sighs.
"Fine, I'll take that apology."
"Great!"
You kiss Tagora's nose and jump up.
"Now come and help me with this shopping."
You turn on your heels and head back into the kitchen. Luckily for Tagora that meant that you didn't see as his face flushed a bright teal.
