You and Sollux's moirail Aradia were both over at his house. It was one hell of a hot day, and no one seemed to have air conditioning, not even Sollux, his air con was broken too. You were surprised Aradia wasn't sweating intensely underneath her 'god tier' outfit. You weren't really sure how all of that worked, but it didn't seem practical at all. 

You groaned and continued to fan your sweating body with your hand, sipping on warm water and holding melted ice in a bag on your stomach. The tiles of Sollux's kitchen were slightly colder than the wooden floors he had around the rest of his house, so you decided to chill out there. You had already ditched your shirt and you were now relaxing in your bra and some shorts. Sollux had already asked if it was getting hotter in here, you replied with 'it's a heatwave for gog's sake. Could you stop hitting on me for a while?'

Sadly, it wasn't just Sollux who was hitting on you. 

"Hell0 h0t stuff." Aradia lied down beside you on the ground. You weren't sure if she just wanted to join you, or cool down. 

You blushed a little and blamed it on the heat. Aradia suddenly moved her hand onto your stomach and stole the bag of melted ice that was loosing it's pleasing coolness. She sighed as she placed it on her own stomach. 

"You know, It would probably help if you ditched your weird cloak thingy." 

"Y0u mean my g0d tier 0utfit?"

"Yeah, that thing." 

"N0, I'm alright," Aradia smirked smugly. "Tr0lls d0n't feel the heat, 0r the c0ld." 

"Then why did you steal my bag of water?"

You snatched it back playfully and sat up again. You figured if you put it back in Sollux's freezer for a while, that it would be frozen enough for you to use as something to cool off with later. But then there was the problem of having nothing to help with heat in the meantime. 

You sighed as you swung open the freezer door and threw the bag of ice in. 

"I swear, If it doesn't cool down soon I'm going to pass out." 

Aradia raised an eyebrow. She grabbed your hand without thought and dragged you down onto her. You had no idea what she was doing until you felt your body meet hers and suddenly felt the coolness that radiated off of her. Instead of being warm like humans were, trolls tended to be cold. She wrapped her arms around you, resting her chin on the top of your head. You weren't sure what she was aiming for, because now heat was radiating off of your cheeks and adding to how uncomfortably hot it was. 

Your back pressed against her stomach. She could feel your breathing and as she chuckled, you could feel her body vibrating. 

"Are y0u feeling any better n0w?" 

"Yeah much better," You smiled and relaxed more into Aradia. "Thanks AA." 

"N0 pr0blem." 

The both of you went back into a comfortable silence. All you could hear was the sound of music somewhere in the distance, and Sollux typing away rapidly at his computer upstairs. Aradia stood with you still in her arms and carried you over to the sofa. You had already pretty much fallen asleep, so comfortable in Aradia's embrace. She felt like she had somehow won here. 

She sat down on the sofa, keeping you sitting on her legs before sitting up straight against the arm of the sofa as you slept happily in her arms. 

Eridan swung open the front door, a pout on his face. Before he could open his mouth to yell and whine, Aradia placed a finger to her lips and shushed the seadweller before she pointed at you, who was now softly snoring. Eridan raised an eyebrow in response before mouthing 'Sollux?' Aradia rolled her eyes and pointed to the stairs after mouthing back a 'please, n0 hate sn0gging with (Y/N) in the h0use.' 

As soon as she was sure Eridan was gone, she lent down to kiss you on the head. Your hair smelt faintly of strawberries, she liked it. She pulled you into her body more as you stirred in your sleep. 

Time seemed to move so slowly, as Aradia wanted it too. She made sure you were asleep with a poke to your arm, and proceeded to nuzzle her chin into your hair when you didn't open your eyes. 

"Flushed f0r y0u (Y/N)." she whispered into your hair, hoping you couldn't hear her. But little did she know, you were awake the whole time.
