Although he and Rose joke about sports all the time, Dave is actually really athletic. He would most likely excel at them, especially baseball for some reason. (He looks like a baseball kind of guy.)  That is, of course, if he actually knew a single damn thing about them. Yes, his lack of knowledge on sports is genuine. He has no idea how you hit the puck into the hoop to score a field goal. He is just that clueless.
