yugyeom and youngjae were now cuddled back up on youngjaes couch, the couple giggling and yugyeom holding youngjae close as youngjae rested back against yugyeoms chest.

yugyeom had been noticing youngjaes change in attitude towards him, and it made the other feel sad. at the same time though, yugyeom expected this, he knew youngjae could still possibly have feelings for jaebum, so if something did happen, yugyeom would try his hardest not to be hurt.

but it didnt mean yugyeom didnt feel alone either.

"youngjae, can we talk ?" yugyeoms voice was soft as his fingers were lightly getting tangled in youngjaes hair, the ravens eyes glancing to yugyeom as he nodded, then adjusting himself to face yugyeom.

"sure, what about ?" youngjae asked in a soft voice as yugyeom sighed, then smiling as he held youngjaes hands and looked at him.

"youngjae do you love me ?" yugyeom asked, his voice wasnt harsh, it was calm, yet it still pierced youngjae to hear those words.

"of course i love you" youngjae replied in a quiet tone, yugyeom chuckling a bit as youngjae could feel the pain and sadness through yugyeoms smile. 

"but are you in love with me ?" 

those words stabbed youngjae. 

in that moment, youngjae didnt know what to say. yugyeom then smiled and chuckled a bit more, biting his lips as he looked at youngjae and patted the ravens hands lightly.

"youngjae.. go back to him, go back to jaebum." youngjae shook his head as he adjusted himself on the couch a bit, feeling his eyes well up as he looked at yugyeom sadly.

"n-no yugyeom, i-i want to be with you" yugyeom shook his head instantly as he smiled sadly, the youngers eyes becoming watery and tear filled as well as he looked at youngjae. 

yugyeom had loved youngjae for the longest time, since their higschool days and after it. how he wished one day him and youngjae would end up together, and yet, it looked as if fate wasnt on his side. as much as it hurt yugyeom, you cant force someone to love you back, and yugyeom didnt want to do that to youngjae.

"no you dont, youngjae.. i know youre still in love with jaebum, im just your cover up, and thats okay.. ill suck it up, because i love you, and i want you to be happy youngjae, even if it means im not" 

youngjae broke down hearing those words, he sobbed and sobbed as yugyeom pulled him into a tight hug, holding youngjae close as the raven was shaking, silent tears falling from yugyeoms eyes.

"i-im sorry.. im sorry, im sorry, im sorry.." youngjae kept repeating over and over to yugyeom, yugyeom shaking his head a bit as he rocked youngjae back and forth to comfort him. 

"ill always love you, youngjae.. even if youre not mine, ill always love you and care for you.."
