it had been a few weeks since team jyp dispersed, the 7 now at their new jobs. mark and jinyoung both working at big 5, jackson and kunpimook working at sportsmen warehouse, yugyeom teaching at the nearby dance school, youngjae at forever 21 instead because h&m had no hirings, and jaebum was a coach in training for a little league team.

jaebum and youngjaes 'relationship' was becoming better. the two continued to learn more about each other each day, like how youngjae hates cucumbers, jaebum would actually prefer traveling by bus over his own car, and much more about each other. the little random facts here and there about each other was enough to spark something small.

youngjae was currently working right now, folding clothes in the store as jackson and kunpimook soon walked inside and caught the others attention. 

"hyung !" kunpimook said in a cheerful voice, youngjae chuckling and smiling as he saw the couple in front of him and placed the folded clothes where they belonged. "has jaebum stopped by ?" jackson asked as youngjae pursed his lips and shook his head.

"no he hasnt, hes probably really busy right now with the little league team" youngjae nodded as jackson and kunpimook nodded along, the raven then hearing his phone ring as he looked around to make sure his boss wasnt looking, then sliding it out and answering it.

jackson and kunpimook chuckled at the sight, covering up youngjae a bit by standing in front of him, youngjae then speaking quietly on the phone. 

"hello ?" 

"youngjae ! its mom ! how are you ?" 

youngjae smiled hearing his mothers voice, the three then scooting their feet over to the corner of the mens section as youngjae continued to speak to his mom.

"im good, how are you ? how is ja kyung and hee joon ?" youngjae asked in a hopeful tone, his mother sighing over the end of the line. youngjae could feel the sad smile his mothers face always made over the phone as she started speaking again.

"ja kyung doesnt call anymore.. and hee joon is so busy with college he rarely visits. youre the only one who actually puts up with me"  his mother chuckled softly as he smiled a bit.

youngjae sighed hearing the news, he wished his siblings were as close with his mom as he was. jackson and kunpimook then panicked as kunpimook started patting youngjaes shoulder rapidly as they saw someone calling for youngjaes name, most likely the manager.

"i gotta go mom, i love you !"

"i love you too, jae jae !"

youngjae then hung up as he then acted like as he was folding clothes, jackson and kunpimook talking about the randomest stuff as they looked at whatever clothes were in front of them. youngjaes manager then placed a hand on his shoulder as youngjae turned around and smiled innocently.

"youngjae here you are ! were a register short we need you to cover" his manager smiled and youngjae nodded and walked off with the other. jackson and kunpimook looking over their shoulder as the smiled, jackson then looking at his watch as he panicked and grabbed his boyfriends hand.

"babe our break is over were gunna be late !" with that, kunpimook laughed and nodded, jackson and his boyfriend then running out of forever 21.

the three never realizing that jaebum had his hood up by the shirt section, hearing youngjaes conversation with his mom as something fluttered in his heart.
