youngjae was left speechless at the coaches words. he didnt want to be fired, and he knew the coach would never fire jaebum because well- hes jaebum ! hes the best player on the team and maybe the who baseball league ! 

the team went silent as the coach then called everyone out to the field for practice, everyone else leaving except for jackson and jaebum. "youngjae.. are you okay ?.." jackson asked out in a quiet voice as youngjae nodded, jaebum looking at the other as his eyes darted away, then walking out of the locker room without saying anything to youngjae.

"c'mon kunpimook.. lets go fill up the water.." kunpimook looked at his best friend sadly as youngjae walked out of the locker room as well, yugyeom, jackson, and kunpimook all feeling bad for both youngjae and jaebum.

the three then walked out, jackson making his way to the rest of his team and yugyeom helping the two for today. youngjae barley talked through out the teams practice, kunpimook and yugyeom bought him 2 soft pretzels and a jumbo milkshake to try and cheer him up just a bit, but it didnt work. 

the 2 youngers sighed as youngjae was depressed, jaebum and youngjae were making progress and now it got ruined thanks to snobby press. the practice soon came to an end, the team walking to the locker room as youngjae was no where to be seen. 

he had left early, he also switched his hoodie with kunpimooks so the writers and photographers outside paid no attention to youngjae when he walked out. he couldnt go home, there could be people waiting there for him, he sighed as he took his phone out of his pocket, scrolling through his contacts as he then tapped on one of them.

he put his phone up to his ear, hearing the rings then his friend picking up.

"youngjae ?"

"moonbin.. can i stay at your place for a while ?"

youngjae was soon picked up by moonbin and his boyfriend, eunwoo, as they brought youngjae home. "damn.. so youre the one involved with jaebum.." eunwoo and moonbin felt bad for the other, theyve known youngjae for a while now and hearing his one chance at having love was ruined, really made them feel bad.

jaebum sighed as he couldnt find youngjae, turning his head as he then saw kunpimook and the boy from earlier pulling the wagon with the coolers in it. "bam, and someone i dont know.. wheres youngjae ?" yugyeom chuckled as he heard jaebums words, kunpimook then sighing as the two set the wagon aside.

"youngjae left early, since you two cant talk and you didnt even try to say anything to him, he left early. i wouldnt be surprise if he quits sooner or later, also, this is yugyeom. remember his name, he might be the new water boy instead of youngjae" kunpimook spat out harshly as yugyeom nodded, jackson then running to kunpimoo and yugyeom as he looked at jaebum.

"you better set things straight with youngjae, you two were getting somewhere and because of these dumb stories- and your 'pride' youngjaes hurt again. better do something about it jaebum, because right now, i have no respect for you." jackson spat out as the three then left jaebum by himself, jaebum groaning and yeling out as he threw his bat to the side as he then threw his cap to the ground.

jackson wasnt wrong though, even though him and youngjae had a proper conversation only once, when him and youngjae hugged, he felt butterflies for the first time. if jaebum was able to find a way to talk and spend time with youngjae in private, then maybe things would be fixed with them.

jaebum then got an idea.

he pulled out his phone, calling jackson once as it took a while for the other to pick up, but jaebum then finally hearing the others voice.

"what do you want, jaebutt" jackson said as jaebum rolled his eyes and began speaking. 

"call mark and jinyoung, and find a few more people who can sing" jackson raised an eyebrow as he heard the other speak. 

"well.. bam can sing and rap, and yugyeom said he sings as well. why, whats going on ?"

"i know how to make it up to youngjae."
