The One Where There Is A Big Time Skip

Surprisingly I'm not dead and this is in fact an update. I think my writing is getting slightly better, specifically for closure. Also I hope this is good.

John's Pov:

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

"EQUESTRIA GIRLS"

Alex and Frances were chanting in favor of the My Little Pony Equestria Girls series. I sighed rolling my eyes.

"Fine,"

Alex handed me to the remote, snuggling into my side.

"YAY," Frances cheered.

I smiled as she curled up into my lap happily watching the TV.

After a while I found myself spacing out. Alex twirled my curls around his fingers. It felt nice for my hair to be played with. I imagined a time where Alex could do it whenever he wanted.

Me and Alex could adopt another kid and get married where everyday I could wake up next to him.

Wait no, it's too soon for me to think a about that yet.

"Dad," I felt someone holding my cheeks.

"Yeth," I responded as Frances squished my face.

"Watch the movie with me," she said trying to get me to pay attention.

"Okay okay, I'll watch,"

Frances went back to the movie.

"Yeah John, pay attention," Alex smiled moving his hand from my hair.

I immediately frowned.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked. His face falling at the sight of mine.

"I want you to play with my hair,"

"Gimme a kiss first,"

I leaned in quickly pecking Alex's lips.

He smiled, his fingers threading through my hair again.

"I feel like you're enjoying this way too much," Alex snickered.

"And?" I questioned raising an eyebrow.

"I didn't say it was a bad thing,"

"It was implied,"

"I implied nothing Laurens, I just said you're enjoying this, do you have a hair ki-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Hamilton,"

"Alright, damn," Alex said laughing quietly.

"I hope you choke," I added on.

"On what?" He winked.

"You know you have such a big mouth for such a small person Alex,"

"Yeah, my big mouth comes in handy some times if you know what I mean,"

"I don't know whether to hate you or love you,"

"I would hope you loved me,"

"Well I do,"

"So soon Laurens?"

"Well it's felt like eternity,"

"It has dearest, Laurens,"

We went silent watching the movie peacefully.

I had one hand over a now sleeping Frances and the other around Alex's shoulders letting myself being used as a pillow for the both of them.

And I enjoyed it. It was wholesome to finally have some sort of family with me peacefully.

Martha's Pov:

I'm actually happy for John and Alex. Besides there isn't actually anything for me to do now.

I sighed looking out of the plane window.

I felt like pretending I was in one if those sad music videos because I'm a dramatic bitch. It was fun but I was honestly kind of lonely.

I didn't want a random stranger next to me but I wanted someone I know to talk to me.

John had bought me the whole row of seats so I could lay down and stretch however I wanted.

It was honestly kind of lonely.

Just like the authors life.

All sad and lonely and pathetic.

And dramatic.

You can't forget dramatic.

The only thing sadder could be the large amount of effort poured into this book but, yet it comes out as shit.

But you know the authors kind of  improving little by little considering this is the second fanfiction they may ever complete.

And the author apologizes for the shitty fucking update schedule and lack of motivation.

The author would also like you to know there is not an update day gone by where they don't think about this heaping pile of radioactive waste they've given their whole life too.

Do y'all remember when the author used to update 5 days a week even when they has SHSAT prep after school so they were exhausted, hungry, and sad after 10 hours of school?

Speaking of the SHSAT the author did not get a high enough score but they got into the public school they wanted to.

And back to the story. Sorry for the rant.

Alex's Pov:

As soon as the movie ended John threw Frances over his shoulder and took her upstairs to her room for the night.

I quickly fixed up the couch and went to the kitchen for when John came back. It was late at night now. Almost 1 AM so I would most definitely be sleeping in.

"So about the date,"

Cutting off my thoughts, I turned to see John leaning against the counter.

"Yeah?" I responded.

"I was just wondering if you wanna know what I have planned so you know what to expect,"

"Sure,"

"Another thing, you live with me now that we're dating you have a valid reason to stay,"

I couldn't help but stare at his perfect grin spacing out as I nodded along.
