The One Where Peggy Is Queen (when isn't she though)
Peggy's Pov:
"Riiiiaaaaaaaa," I whined.
"Yes,"
God I love her patience, even when I'm a whiny bitch.
"I feel badddddd," I stomped my foot.
"Didn't know 2 year olds could own coffee shops," she smiled at me.
"But yeah," she sighed putting on her coat, "so do I,"
"You know he sleeps outside every day on that wall?" I asked.
"Oh," Ria mumbled.
"Well then..." she said going behind the counter and taking out a brown paper bag we put our pastries in. She opened the container of fresh pastries up, fanning the bag out as she reached in for a large chocolate chip muffin, blueberry muffin, and a glazed donut.
I smiled warmly at her as she locked the container back up coming to my side.
I kissed her cheek as I opened the door, snow started falling softly. I smiled up at the sky taking in the feeling of New York. She sighed behind me a puff of cold air forming at her lips making me laugh.
We left the building, snow flakes crunching under our feet. I turned back and locked the door as Ria walked around the corner.
I followed after her.
I came to her side as the fairly young boy woke up to see us staring at him. I bit my lip in anticipation seeing as he looked scared.
"I don't have any money," he mumbled.
"Oh no, of course not, just-" I sighed as Ria sheepishly handed him the bag.
He looked at us in confusion. We looked at him expectantly, he finally opened the bag making him bite his lip.
"Thank you," his voice cracked.
"Your welcome," we said simultaneously making him smile at us as we walked away.
Yes, I do know not to give to the homeless, especially in New York, it's a dangerous place. Just leave them, but personally just helping one person makes a difference in my heart.
Once my parents asked me if I would give up my bed for a homeless person in New York and sleep on the floor, and I said yes which made them laugh.
I understand some of these people are using money to buy drugs or fake it but they all have their reasons.
Who am I to judge?
I'm pan. :D
Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community means you get judged constantly, if I'm a part of this community it makes sense not to judge others. I'm doing my best not to think about other people, I try not to be my parents. I do my best to be a supportive, kind, person.
I grabbed Maria's hand shivering as we crossed the street on our way to John's building.
John Laurens was my childhood friend since diapers and my first serious crush. About a year later he came out as gay after dating me for a couple of months.
He didnt push me away for liking him so I didn't when he dumped me, cause he is a chill friend.
Ria smiled at me, warming my heart.
We made our way into the building; Tony, the receptionist, and official door opener opened the door for us, nodding our way as we made our way to the elevators. We hopped on and gently kissed as the door closed.
We made our way to John's penthouse, hearing yelling from even outside the door.
Ria gave me a 'jfc' look as she pulled John's key out of her pocket. She turned to unlock the lock swiftly, almost kicking the door down as she heard glass shatter and more yelling.
She bust through with me on her tail to see John's glass center table in pieces on the floor.
Francis and John stared us down, breathing heavily.
"Can someone please tell me..." I stepped forward causing Maria to step back.
"What the fuck, is happening here,"
"Nothing, nothing," Francis smiled at me in a twisted way as he stepped towards John. He ran his fingers through his hair as he wrapped his arm around John's waist.
"It'll be...the same as always, we'll have make up sex and things'll be fine,"
"THEY AREN'T FUCKING FINE," John yelled throwing Francis's arm off of him.
"IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE FINE THEN GET OUT MY PENTHOUSE YOU PRICK," Francis yelled back even startling me.
"FIRST OF ALL, THIS IS MY PENTHOUSE, I BOUGHT IT, WITH MY MONEY, YOU ONLY MOVED IN, AND IM THE PRICK NOW? GET YOUR SHIT OUT! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN," John huffed.
Ahh, that's my boy
