Slow music started to fill the ballroom and couples were joining the dance floor to waltz with their partners. You looked at Cole and blushed and he looked at you nervously. "W-would you like this...dance?" He asks you and you nod your head yes. Cole brings you to the dance floor and you freeze all of a sudden. "What's wrong?" Cole asks you. "I-i never learned how to...slow dance." You shyly admitted.

Cole gave you a smile and brought you close to him, in dance position. "It's never too late to learn how." He said. Cole held your right hand in his left hand and he put his right hand on your left hip. Just as you put your left hand on his shoulder, you two began to sway to the music. You were blushing a lot so you looked down and focused on your foot work.

You had to admit, you were getting pretty good at this slow dancing thing. "You're a pretty good slow dancer for someone who's never slow danced before." Cole says and you look up at him and smile. "I guess I just needed someone to, show me how." You said and noticed that you were in a pretty close distance from Cole. You just couldn't help but stare at his lips, the same lips you dreamt of kissing almost everyday.

"Wanna know something laur?" He asked. "What?" "I've actually...never slow danced before either. This would be my first." "Then how are you-...how are we-..." "Just winging it I guess." He says with a chuckle. "Or you could be a descendant of the elemental master of slow dancing!" You teased. "Haha yeah I could be!"

As the song ended and another slow song ended, you and Cole continued to sway to the beat. Your stomach was getting full of all these crazy feelings for Cole and your heart continued to beat rapidly. You leaned your head on Cole's chest as you two continued to sway to the song. You were probably going crazy but you thought you heard Cole's heartbeat race very fast!

Could Cole's heart have been beating as fast as yours? Did he like you? Questions filled your head and you just couldn't get any of them answered. One thing was for sure, dancing with Cole felt amazing. You felt as if the room was empty and it was just the two of you.

You felt as if you two were dancing on a cloud. You just felt so happy right now as if all your troubles and worries disappeared thanks to Cole. Could this be what love really feels like? You looked up at Cole and he looked at you with a smile. You really hope he felt the same way.
