Special: What if Magnus met her first? (part five)

Thurston and (y/n) walked back to the house together. They had a fun time walking together in the woods. The brunet did not say much during their walk, but his actions said a lot more. He had been looking out for (y/n) and her well being the whole time. His harsh scarlet eyes still had hardness in them, but a light of gentleness shimmered in them when they looked at the girl. The man unlocked the door and let her in first to keep a lookout. His eyes stared hard into the distance before his raised his rifle. He was looking through the scope.
"(Y/n). Get inside now.," she heard the man say.
"What is it?," the albino asked and was pushed inside.
Thurston quickly entered and locked the door before holding her down and away from the door and windows. His mouth was covering her hand again. The girl wondered what was wrong when she felt a cold chill wash over the house. Frost grew on the counter where she and Thurston were hiding.
Thurston mumbled something in his language as he peeked out from the counter. (Y/n) looked as well and saw a silhouette on the drawn shades of the window. It was a short figure. Frost covered the window, causing it to be hard to see outside. The girl heard a muffled voice before the frost left. The brunet let the albino go and looked out of the window.

"It's okay. Come out.," Thurston said and looked back to the girl.
(Y/n) looked at the melting frost on the door and got a towel to clean the moisture up. She had to clean it up or the wood may warp. The soldier helped her clean up then helped her do the laundry. He was standing even closer to her. Like he was ready to hold onto her at any second if something happened. The teen could see him take that flask out again and take a drink from it. The smell of alcohol hit her nose. He had to be a drinker. But, what was in that flask? He never seemed to run out of it. She brushed that off and turned to Thurston.
"Thurston. I was wondering. What is my mother's home like?," the girl asked.
"It's a palace. There are many artifacts that have been collected and many rooms for you to explore if you so choose.," the soldier answered, "I live there with the others."
The scarlet eyed man looked like he had a thought.
"You could move in if you wanted to. The house is yours by inheritance.." Thurston added, "But you would have to share with the rest of us there."
The albino girl thought of the idea. She could move out after she finished school. Perhaps she could learn more about her family and history from going to her mother's home. The only one that would be against it is her father, he was so protective and such a worrywart. Yet, he never took her with him. He always sent someone to check on her or had her stay with a person. This was the first time he did not send someone, her mom basically did. Her phone rang and she picked it up.
"Hej?," she said and heard a sigh.

"Glad to hear your voice again, (y/n).," the voice of her father sighed, "I was worried, I hope Alfred did not scare you."
"No. He seemed nice.," the albino replied, "Why didn't I have to go stay with someone this time? That was bugging me since you left."
She saw Thurston walk up and cross his arms, he leaned against the wall to listen to her conversation. He looked annoyed. Probably from her talking to Malthe without telling him who it was.
"It was a last minute meeting. I promise to bring back some specialty snacks for you. Maybe even a cute new outfit if you want.," Malthe offered and got a sigh from his daughter, "Come on, my sense of fashion is not that bad."
(Y/n) covered the mouthpiece and told Thurston it was her father, causing the soldier man to make a disappointed face before returning to his usual pissed off expression.
"You're not bad, just could be better.," the albino teased her dad.
Malthe laughed, "Snacks it is then. I'm sorry for not getting home sooner, there have been some delays. But, I'm staying with some friends. I should introduce you to them one day."
"These friends, are they in the photo Alfred showed me?," the girl asked and ran through the faces she saw in the photograph.
"They are. The one that looks like me and his family.," her father replied, "You'd like them. They helped to take care of you when you were small."
Thurston walked past the girl as he knew she was going to be on it a while. He went to the kitchen to start cooking. The brunet man began to make dinner for the two as the girl talked to her father. He celebrated internally that her father was delayed in coming home. That means that his cohorts were doing their jobs. Thurston smiled to himself. He was so close to her now. He loved it. He made sure the girl did not speak about him or the others to her father and finished cooking by the time she got off the phone.

"I love Far, but talks way too much sometimes.," (y/n) sighed and sat down.
She perked up at the sight of food in front of her.
"Thurston, what? You did not have to do this.," the albino sputtered as the man placed his plate down.
He took a drink from his flask, "I did not. But I wanted to."
The man began to eat after taking and moment of silence.
"Do you want me to prepare the guest room, Thurston?," (y/n) inquired to the brunet sitting across from her.
He did not reply. His scarlet eyes looked up at her before looking back down at her food. He was thinking about how cute she was the previous night. She let him tell her what was bothering him without question, then they were cuddled together for the night. He would love to have her in his arms again. Thurston knew that if he spoke his wishes aloud, he might scare her with his forwardness.
"I'll take that as a yes.," the young woman smiled.
Her purity and light almost blinding Thurston. His hands shook a little. She was pure and innocent of what he did. It was not right for him to even lay a finger on her as it may taint her, but at the same time, her light seemed to purify him. He held himself back. He still would be close to her as the guest room and her room were right beside each other. He was in the same place as her, able to hear her voice and see her face. Something he had longed for since she had been so rudely taken from him. He continued to be quiet ad she spoke to him. The brunet did not listen, as his mind was wandering. He was thinking of how lovely she would be in a white dress. A wedding dress. The thought itself felt like a dream sent from heaven.

Dinner moved quickly for (y/n) as her companion seemed to be focused on something else. The albino got up and cleaned up. She went upstairs and got the guest room ready before taking a shower. She had to be clean for school the next day. She quickly washed and got ready for bed, she noticed the shimmering material falling off her skin and hair. No matter how much of the glittering substance was washed off, there still seemed to be more. The albino girl got out and dried off once she finished and brushed her teeth before going to bed. She put on a nightgown before she got into bed. (Y/n) sighed and settled down. Perhaps she'll get another night of restful sleep. More than likely not. She found it strange that she had restful sleep the previous night. Clear of any nightmares or terrors. Did it have to do with Thurston being there?
She heard a knock at her door and got out of bed. Thurston was in his undershirt and his pants. His eyes did not look hard, but tired.
"Is there something wrong?," (y/n) asked her guest.
Thurston was quiet before speaking, "Good night."
She noticed that he touched her hand that was on the door before he walked away.
'Perhaps he likes physical contact, but doesn't like to admit it?,' she theorized, 'Does he get teased for it back home?'
The girl went back to her bed and settled in again before going to sleep. She did not know that Thurston was again outside her door, keeping his ears open to make sure she was okay. He went downstairs and made a call on his phone.

It rang for a bit before it was picked up.
"Hej, you reached the former residence of Brunhilda, how may I help you?," a deep voice asked in a heavy Swedish accent.
"Transfer me to Magnus, now.," Thurston ordered.
"Well, you are in a better mood than usual.," the deep voice chuckled, "I guess that special assignment ol Mag and Loki sent you on is doing you some good."
"You talk too much, Bernard.," The brunet said, "Put Magnus or Loki on the line."
The man on the other side laughed. His deep voice was booming and somewhat menacing.
"How about no? I miss my little brother. You didn't answer when I called you earlier or when Egil went to find you.," Bernard teased, "Are you having so much fun that you'd rather stay there than come home?"
The soldier man was beginning to be irritated, but he could not scold his older brother. He would wake up the teen upstairs if he did. His Swedish brother laughed more at him.
"Come on. I know you want to yell at me. Get angry. Unless you're not going to.," Bernard chuckled, "Is it because of her? You don't have to hide it. I already made Loki spill it after Egil and I took his phone."
This made Thurston mad, he wanted (y/n)'s existence to be kept a secret for as long as possible.
"You better keep the fact we found her a secret. Or I'll make you feel the same agony our father went through.," The brunet threatened.
"There he is! There's my lillebror!," the swede laughed, "Better be careful, Egil is still there. He wants to see her, you know how he gets."

Thurston sighed, he knew exactly how Egil was. The annoying little bastard was clingy and loved attention. He likes attention from his older brothers almost as much as attention from women. So learning of his younger sister's existence would cause him to go into a frenzy to meet her. Thurston clenched his fist in anger, he had to keep Egil away from (y/n). Otherwise the truth would be spilled too fast, as Egil was so very talkative. The brunet man was getting a headache from his sudden rage. He needed to calm down. He hung up the phone without talking to Magnus and put the phone away. He went back up to the albino girl's room and snuck inside.
She was fast asleep and having bad dreams already. The man sat by her bed and took her hand that was reached out. He placed it on his fluffy brunet hair. Her contact with him alleviated his anger as well as her nightmares. A mutually benefitial contact between them. He closed his eyes and inhaled her scent. Her sweet and soothing scent. He enjoyed her touch long enough to calm him down. His eyes opened and looked back at the albino girl. Her sweet face looked even more ethereal and innocent when asleep. Her eyes were closed and her face was peaceful. Light reflected off of and refracted through her long silvery eyelashes. Her hair gave off a soft light. She had her mother's power, the great goddess that gave Thurston a reason to live. After he calmed down enough, Thurston went to bed. He had to take her to school in the morning and then go report to Magnus. His eyes closed for a final time that night after his head hit the pillow.

The man was woken by the sight of (y/n) shaking him awake. She was already dressed in her school uniform. She was so precious looking to the man.
"Wake up Thurston. We need to go.," Her voice called to him, "I made you coffee."
Thurston cursed internally and got up. He got ready as the girl went downstairs to get her things. She was ready to leave as he walked down.
"Does school start this early?," Thurston asked and got his firearm.
(Y/n) was about to leave when she was stopped by the brunet holding onto her arm.
"Hold it. You need to eat something.," the man said.
"I'll get something at school, I already drank coffee.," the teen replied and squirmed in his hold, "Let's go. It'll take a while to get there on foot, we need to leave now."
The man had his scarlet eyes set on her, they looked like they were burning into her. He pulled her closer, staring at her face. The teen stared back, a little scared by his sudden force. He saw that she was scared and loosened his grip.
"You need to eat something. It's not good for you to only drink coffee.," the man said, "You're going to eat something."
"I will. We can get something on the way, how about that?," the albino girl asked.
Thurston's eyes did not soften. He was serious. He did let her unlock the door so they could leave. He followed her outside and watched her close the door after he got the coffee she made him. His eyes ran over her body quickly as she locked the door. He took her hand and walked with her to the town. They stopped at a small shop to get a fruit cup and a brioche for her to eat as breakfast. Thurston walked her to her school and stopped at the gate.

Students saw him with her and kept their distance.
"I'll be back before shool ends to get you.," the man said and handed her the lunch he made while making dinner the previous night, "Be safe."
"I will, thank you Thurston.," the warm hearted albino smiled.
The man watched her walk into school before leaving. (Y/n) walked to her class and sat down. She felt happy again. Thurston was a good man, although very hard. But he cared for her safety. The albino girl got ready for the lesson when some students came up to her. It was not the bullies from before, but some classmates that usually mind their own business.
"We saw that guy with you, who is he?," one classmate asked.
Another piped up, "That gun was big, how can you be so calm with it?"
"You have been walking with several scary people lately, what's going on?," yet another asked.
(Y/n)'s desk was crowded by classmates.
"He's a bodyguard my mother contracted to protect me.," the girl answered, "The other two are just people who worked for my mom."
The classmates clamored around her.
"Your dead mom contracted a bodyguard?," a classmate asked, "That usually means that there is something important with your family."
"Are you a secret billionare?," Another asked.
"I don't know about that. Thurston is just here to protect me. The other two found me to talk about my mother's property.," the albino girl answered.

The teacher came in and made all the students sit down so the day could begin. The albino girl took out her textbook and workbook. Her eyes looked to the blackboard as she followed the lessons. After taking her first class, she moved to her other classes. (Y/n) walked through the hallways and listened to the students chatter. She took her lessons before she finally was let out for lunch with the other students. The silvery-white haired young woman walked to the school's courtyard to go to the gazebo to eat her food. Out there, she could have some peace and quiet. The cold winter air was refreshing. She opened her lunch bag and felt the warmth of it. It smelled delicious.
"Thank you Thurston.," (y/n) said as she took a bit of the meal that was prepared for her.
She savored the flavors of the meat and vegetables. She closed her eyes and smiled. Warmth filled her as she ate. She stopped as she heard footsteps in the snow. The crunching snow made her look up. Her eyes met a handsome young man walking towards her. Her red-violet eyes met his single violet red one.
He was short in stature and had pale skin like her. He had a single visible eye as the other was covered by a black eyepatch with silver patterns. His silky looking hair was a silver color, his eyelashes were pretty long and framed his eyes. He had a pinkish grey frilly dress shirt with a cravat. His jacket was a sleek and shark looking reddish brown formal jacket. His pants matched his jacket. His knee high laced boots were black, matching black leather gloves.
The young man noticed her attention was on him, he walked up to her. The young man fell to his knee and held out his hand to her.
"I finally found you~," He cooed out in a sweet voice.
Almost sickeningly sweet. He took her free hand and put it against his cold and soft cheek.
"Aaaah~ Your warmth is like Mamma's~," the Young man cooed as he rubbed her hand against his cheek.

The albino pulled her hand away from him and quickly packed up her lunch before walking back inside. She found another one of her hiding spots near the back of the lunchroom where it was warm, yet secluded. That interaction with the man was strange, he came up to her like he knew her. To think of it, he did look familiar. She took another bite of her food and looked up when she heard her classmates above her.
"Hey, (y/n)! Come eat lunch with us!," One of them called to her, "You can tell us more about your bodyguard!"
"Hey, don't bother her. She's used to being alone.," the albino heard another classmate say.
The other students with them chattered. The one who invited her to eat with them turned back to the lunch table to speak to the other teens. (Y/n) felt arms wrap around her shoulders as a cold presence washed over her.
"That was mean, leaving me like that.," the voice of the strange young man said, "But I'll forgive my cute little sister if she lets me hold her like this a little longer."
His voice was higher pitched than Loki, yet still masculine. His face was buried in her hair. (Y/n) noticed he called her his sister. She realized he was an albino like her and had a similar face to her and Loki. The young man tightened his grip on her. She finally remembered who this was. Loki showed her a picture of him, it was Loki's younger brother, Egil. She looked up when she saw her classmate look back down at her.
"Your offer is kind.," Egil said to the classmate, "But litla systir is going to stay with me~"
The albino could hear Egil's grin as he spoke to her classmates, she could see the shock of the students at this beautiful man who did not look much older than the girl he was hugging.

Egil sat beside the girl on the stone bench.
"Mmm. I smell Thurston's cooking.," the cold young man said, "He's really grumpy, but he cooks very good."
The silver haired young man took some of the food and ate it quickly, "How good!"
"Hey, that's mine!," (y/n) fussed at the man.
Egil did not seem bothered and kept taking her food, causing her to pull it away with a pouting expression.
"What am I going to eat if you eat it all?," She asked.
"I'll buy you something to eat, elsku systir mín~," the albino young man replied and reached over to grab more of her lunch, "Mamma wanted me to take care of you."
(Y/n) looked at the happy face that Egil had. Egil. Her brother. But was he? She had to confirm it.
"Egil?," the albino asked and immediately got the young man to happily look at her, "You said I was your sister?"
"Já! You're my litla litla systir.," the young albino man replied, "You are the last child Mamma had, making you the precious youngest."
(Y/n) got another sudden hug from this friendly yet cold to the touch young man, he seemed to really like physical affection and attention. The eye patch wearing young man hugged her and kissed her cheek. She lightly pushed him to try to get him off of her.
"I missed you so much!," he cried.

All she could do was return his embrace, he was a very emotional young man. She was also aware of the classmates watching the two albinos. She had to struggle to finish her lunch and promise to play later with Egil to make him leave. The albino young man was happy at that promise and went to explore and play in the snow as she went back to going to class. Her stomach was growling a bit. She did not get enough to eat. She was hungry. She got a little harassment from her classmates about her clingy newfound brother, but it was not bad. Most of the ones who mentioned Egil to her noted that the fancy way he was dressed made him look like a nobleman. They were right, he did look like a nobleman.
The day went by and (y/n) finally was able to leave after collecting her homework assignment. She walked to the gate and was greeted by a cold embrace. Egil was waiting for her along with a very annoyed looking Thurston. Thurston's pissed gaze was baring down on Egil, as if he wanted to give out punishment to the platinum haired young man.
"Ah~ I'm so happy, we can go play now, right?," Egil asked before pouting, "Thurston is not fun, he won't play with me."
The young pouted for a time before going back to grinning. He seemed to like the fact he was getting attention. Thurston sighed and pulled the two with him. Egil fussed at Thurston before getting snapped back at in finnish, the young man hid behind the teen. Both albinos looked at Thurston with either pouts or surprised expressions. The Finnish man looked away, a mix of annoyance and embarrassment at losing his temper in front of the teen girl. Egil came out of hiding.

"Come. I guess the little shit can come too.," Thurston said, "Although, he would probably invite himself anyway."
Egil squeezed his little sister, his face on her chest from being shorter than her. He didn't seem to mind from how he kept snuggling her.
"That's enough, Egil.," Thurston ordered, "We need to go."
Egil pouted but let (y/n) go. She took Thurston's hand and walked with him, Egil following close behind. The albino young man stopped and looked around, seemingly contimplating something before catching up with the two.
"Hey, how about we have dinner in one of these restaurants?," the platinum haired man asked, "I'll buy, I did take litla systir's lunch."
"You better buy.," Thurston scoffed and let Egil lead the way to a restaurant.
The restaurant looked to be high class. (Y/n) felt a little under dressed seeing the wait staff and other customers. She kind of wished she had better clothes on as her brother and bodyguard looked at the menus to order. As usual, she ordered a cheap item that she knew she could stomach. Egil insisted that she not do that and had it added onto with a bigger and more expensive meal. It was a delicious meal. Egil was very generous and overall very friendly. His warm personality clashed with his cold body. He was so kind. Thurston seemed to be annoyed deeply by his mere prescence. After dinner, Egil tagged along to the house and seemed to explore a bit before he seemed to be fidgety.
(Y/n) disregarded it as she went to get ready for bed. She could hear Egil and Thurston talking in a different language that she somehow understood. They were talking about her and how they could spruce up her room for her. She went to bed with a smile on her face after bidding them goodnight and getting a cold kiss on the cheek from Egil.
