Ending five: Fluffy ending
It was painful but warm when (y/n) woke, the pain ended quickly though. The smell is what hit her first, a nostalgic and comforting smell. This smell made her feel safe and happy. The smell of a fellow albino.
The apartment she was in was small but comfortable. She was on a sofa and she smelled something cooking. The albino got up and walked to the kitchen, she found Gilen there. He was cooking and not looking behind him. A warm and gentle man.
"Gilen?," she asked and he spun around quickly. He was startled and relieved in his expression, "(y/n), I'm glad jou are avake."
(Y/n) walked up to him, "How did I get here? Did you carry me this whole way?"
Gilen nodded, "Ja, Jou vere caught under rubble and Dracul brought you to me since he vas dying from his vounds. He told me zhat Luxembourg did not make it. I'm sorry."
(Y/n)'s heart sank and she began to cry. Gilen held her like she held him when he was crying before. The albino man let her go when he had to get back to cooking, the food would burn otherwise. He let the female hug him though, he honestly needed a hug after all he went through at his previous boss's place. (Y/n) stopped crying after a while and watched him cook. She did get what he asked for when he needed it, soon the smell of the food made them both hungry.
The albino woman helped him finish the cooking and poured drinks for them. Both ate together and talked quietly. It was peaceful, but the overbearing feeling of guilt and sadness permeated the room.
Gilen poked at his vegetables with his fork, "I quit vorking for Luciano."
This got the female's attention, "you did?"
"Ja, he just got to be too mean.," the Prussian replied, "So I vorked for Luxembourg for a bit before he helped me find a job I am happy vith."
"Where do you work now?," the Scandinavian asked.
"At a library, zhe kids like me und it is quiet.," the male replied.
The albino giggled as she thought of the Prussian reading to small children in the library. He was so cute. Gilen seemed to know what she was imagining and smiled, "Ja, I do read to zhe little ones. Zhe parents don't mind."
The two albinos chuckled a little before it became quiet again. He had to be paid well for him to afford this apartment, he had to have another job. But what was it? They finished eating and Gilen went to take a bath as (y/n) read one of the animal books on the bookshelf. Her mind wandered away from the book and to what happened. She lost her fiancé, is in her best friend's apartment, one of her magic mentors is dead too and she was being hunted by some of the most insane men imaginable. She was in such a bad position.
The old but beautiful sword the Prussian loved was hung on the wall. It's sheath was polished and well kept. The blade was still good after all this time he had it. So many situations that blade saw, so much blood it had tasted. If it could tell stories, it would have a lot to say.
She heard the water turn off and saw the scarred body walk to his room to change. He was slender but muscular. So handsome. His long silver hair clung to his shoulders as he walked back after changing.
"Jou can take zhe bed, I can sleep here.," Gilen offered, "zhe couch is a pull-out."
"No, you can take the bed.," (y/n) replied, "Have a good rest."
He was about to insist when he stopped with the look of concern for him came from the female, he sighed. "Fine.," the man said and turned, "Goodnight."
He went back to his room and went to bed. The albino woman stayed up a little later to think and fell back onto the couch. It was soft and cozy.
Her eyes closed. She opened her eyes when light hit them, it was morning already. Her fiancé was gone, she did not know when he would be back. If he was ever going to come back. Gilen seemed to still be asleep, so she got up and made breakfast for him.
How excited this cute scarred Prussian will be to have a meal waiting for him!
Gilen got up from his peaceful rest, he smelled something. It smelled good. He brushed his hair out and put on his clothes before going to see what was going on. He found the female albino cooking pancakes and bacon for them. Her smile when she saw him watching her was wide.
"Godmorgan!," the female chimed and presented him a plate of the pancakes and bacon, "I made you breakfast."
"Oh, Danke.," the man said and took the plate, "Jou are very happy this morning."
"Ja. I am still sad that Luxxie is gone, but he would want me to be happy and living the bast life I could.," the Scandinavian female spoke.
Gilen nodded and sat down, "I have to go to zhe library today. Zhey need me for a book reading for zhe kinder."
"Could I come to help?," the female asked and got a nod.
"I-i vould like zhat.," the man said and got a smile from (y/n).
(Y/n) felt like her clothes were clean enough that she could go to the library in them. She looked good enough. Her hair just needed a brushing. She just did it with magic and cleaned herself up with her magic. Gilen looked like he was in more causal attire with his shirt and jacket with slacks and sneakers.
The Prussian happily ate the breakfast he was given with the female. Both were pretty happy with each others company.
Gilen led her to the library he worked at, it was big and clean and filled with all kinds of books. It was humbling and comforting at the same time.
The Prussian shyly introduced his friend to his boss, the older woman tittered and teased him lightly about his beautiful 'girlfriend'.
His face was as red as a ruby.
The two albinos walked back to the area they were going to be working.
Gilen looked through the books to see what would be the best to read to the children, he found one that was a book of fairytales and folklore for kids. (Y/n) sat near him and looked at the book as well, "That looks like an interesting book."
"Ja. I just vanted to make sure it vas okay to read to zhe children.," Gilen spoke softly.
(Y/n) nodded and gave him a supportive smile, "I'm sure they'll love it. What did you read them last time?"
The Prussian looked down a little shyly, "It vas a small group of kinder, a story of a princess und her knight."
The albino woman smiled, "that sounds like a cute story, I'm sure it was fun." She got a nod in reply from that. He seemed to be relaxing more after talking to her. She heard the library doors open and looked back at the Prussian, he seemed a little embarrassed.
"Jou look a little like zhe princess in the book.," Gilen said with pinkened cheeks, "So pretty."
Small footsteps came to the children's section and the female turned to see a group of small children. One was familiar.
"Lady (y/n)!," the ember haired boy said and ran up to her. She caught him in a hug as the other children came over. One of the little girls pulled on Gilen's clothes, "You brought a real princess with you?"
(Y/n) couldn't help but to giggle at the words of the little girl and the expression on Gilen's face. The Prussian smiled patiently, "Ja. She is a princess."
"Then you really are a knight!," Another child said and pointed at the scar on his cheek, "You got that from fighting bad guys!"
"Shh.," Gilen hushed and placed a finger over his lips, "This is a library, please be quiet."
The little kids all sat down around Gilen and he smiled, (y/n) sat near him with Aske on her lap. The little boy snuggled to the woman as they listened to Gilen take them into the world of the book, into a fantastical world of magic and fantasy. Although some of the magic was real as the two albinos knew. The children listened in awe of the story and clapped softly at the end.
The Prussian gave the book to (y/n) so she could read the next story to them. She took the book and read the words on the page. Her magic made the scenes come to life as the children listened, the small eyes watched the scenes made by her magic. The illustrations came to life and acted their parts out.
Gilen watched with a smile as the female read to the children, she was a natural with them. Her warmth and kindness made it true. She finished tell story and the young ones were asking her to read more or if she was actually a faerie. She never answered them but gave them a smile and a wink. The children had to leave as their field trip to the library was over.
(Y/n) had fun with reading to the children and helped Gilen reshelve the books, it was a quiet and very calm job. She was happy to help Gilen.
When she was looking at the shelves she noticed something, a few of the books had Gilen's name on them. The information clicked. That is where his extra money was coming from, he was an author of books. Pretty popular ones. The albino woman was happy for her friend's success.
After working in the library all day they went to the store to buy groceries. Gilen was shyly getting everything he needed when he was knocked over by some punks. The albino female helped him up and picked up his groceries for him.
She quickly healed she scrape he got after falling. They paid and went back to his apartment.
-
In the time they were together, they became closer. So much closer. Gilen shivered as the days became colder. It was a cold day and the library was closed. The albino man was writing his next book while the female was cleaning. She noticed he was cold and made him some hot chocolate, he was grateful when she gave him the cup. The albino woman saw he was still shivering and took his temperature, he had a fever. She made him go back to bed and took care of him. He whined a little but he was compliant for the most part. (Y/n) soon figured out that he did not have an immune system as strong as his brother's and that he needed to have some care. She took care of him until he was better. The female was happy to cuddle him and they became even closer after she took care of him. They were comfortable with each other, like a married couple would be.
Gilen began to have feelings for her, he was scared that she would leave him. He was scared of being alone again. He was scared of what would happen to her if she was not around. The albino man became a little more clingy and cuddly.
(Y/n) picked up on this quickly and gave him the attention he wanted, her kindness and lovingness made him feel happy.
Weeks later Gilen and (y/n) were in a cafe, enjoying each other's company. In complete bliss with each other. They were talking about the new shipment of books That were coming to the library and how exciting it was.
It was a nice day. Gilen got up to use the restroom and left his friend alone, he got back to see her being harassed by some punks. He could see that she was not happy and was giving them fair warning to stop. The Prussian wanted to help her but did not know what to do, he went over and tried to sit back down when one of harassers sat in his seat.
(Y/n) was less than pleased and looked to Gilen, "we should go."
Gilen got his coat from the chair and both got up, only for one of the punks to grab the woman's waist and rear.
That punk was on the floor with a boot on his head in a split second. Gilen knew she was tough, but he actually got to see it. She let her foot of of the punk and that two walked out of the cafe, hand in hand. The two continued on their way and stopped by the store for groceries. After an hour or so of shopping, they waked back to the apartment when the smell gang stopped them to rob them and take (y/n). What they weren't expecting was two immortals that were extremely annoyed by their stupidity.
After a small struggle, the two carried on without a scratch while bruised and unconscious street thugs were left on the ground. Gilen was glad that she did not want to leave him. He was happy with her there.
One day, about two years after she first started living with him, he gave her a small ring that he made from fuzzy pipecleaners. It was cute as he made a small pipecleaner flower for the top of it.
"Could jou wear zhis until I get us a matching set?," the albino asked and got a gasp from the female. She hugged him and he fell off of his knee and onto the floor. They both lying on the floor in an embrace when the head librarian found them. Her tittering got them up, "So you finally proposed?"
The elderly woman kept doing her cute old lady laugh to tease Gilen her 'uhuhuhu' did not stop as she walked away with a smile on her face. Gilen was pink again but he was in the arms of the woman he loved.
The wedding was not big. Just a signing of the marriage license and certificate at the courthouse. The old librarian was their witness. She seemed happy to be there to see the two young people get married, 'seeing another set of grandkids get hitched' as she put it. The library was closed again and Gilen was happy to be married to someone he loved and who loved him unconditionally.
They went right home and started to kiss the moment the door shut, so warm and loving. They could not get enough of the other. Gilen wished that they could keep this perfect life forever. To be happy and in love like this for the rest of their lives.
-
Gilen was freaking out. He could not stay calm. Not after what he saw in the bathroom. They had to move. They had to go somewhere else. Get another house and perhaps change their names. What was he going to do? How could he think with all of this stress. Sure it was an empty box but he could not really handle the stress of it all.
(Y/n) had gone to work at the library so he could work on his new book, but his head was not full of just what he saw in the bathroom.
He made some tea and tried to compose himself. It was nothing to worry about. His wife was Goin to explain everything when she got home... if she ever got home. Gilen started to pace again and gnawed at his finger lightly, a bad habit he picked up, this was stressing him out so much. His hair would have turned white if it was not already like that.
Hours passed and his wife did not come home. He began to worry more. She was usually home by this time, where was she?
The albino Prussian's head lifted when he heard the door open, his wife stepped through the door and her head was pulled to her husband's chest.
"Vhere vere jou?!," Gilen asked with tears in his eyes as his wife hugged back, "I found zhis in zhe bathroom! Vhy did jou not tell me about zhis?!"
He presented the box to her and she smiled, "you ruined your own surprise."
She presented a small bag to him, he took it and took the small cloth out of it. He unwrapped the cloth and found two baby onesies and a pregnancy test that was positive.
"Surprise.," the Scandinavian said with a soft voice and a soft smile, "You're a father."
"I'm a vati, jou are a mutti.," the man said and sat down on the couch, "Ve need a bigger place."
"I don't think twins will be comfortable in this tiny apartment.," (y/n) agreed with a smile as she dropped another piece of information on him. He turned slowly to her.
"Twins?," he asked and got a nod in return, "Mein gott."
"Do you need to lie down?," (y/n) asked her husband and he fell onto her chest, "I guess you do." Gilen hugged his wife. He was relieved in knowing that she was pregnant but now had a different worry. Her brothers would kill him if they found out.
He felt her fingers in his hair, do in her best to calm him down with both magic and her own soft touches. What a wife can do for a man, he started to relax when she did. He began to fall asleep there and snuggled against her, his head right above where his little babies were growing safe inside their mommy. He felt warm and content, safe and happy. He was undoubtedly home.
When her baby bump began to develop, it was like watching a melon grow and mature. Gilen was mesmerized. He even felt like he wife had grown even more Beautiful if that was even possible. So round and perfect, she glowed. The Prussian was so proud her and his little children that were growing inside of her. He loved her. They would sleep comfortably together, his hands would be on her bump to feel the movement of his children. His kinder.
It was wonderful. He spent an hour one afternoon watching her belly move and stretch as the babies rolled around. It was so amazing. Life was one of the most beautiful things that could ever happen, and he was watching the start of two new ones.
He knew that his children would be albinos, like their parents. They would need specialized care.
He began to panic when she began labor. He was so scared for her, especially remembering what happened to her mother. He began to panic and panic he did. Just jumping at every sound his wife made.
He began to panic so much that he passed out on the couch as his wife pushed out the twins. She had to clean them up on her own as their father was unconscious.
(Y/n) took her children and went to lie down next to her husband, he would have a nice surprise when he woke up.
She laid next to him with the children she gave birth to on her chest.
Gilen opened his eyes later to see his wife sleeping next to him with two newborns on her chest. The man smiled at his children that he loved.
"Geneveire und Gabriel, velcome to zhe vorld.," the albino man said and rubbed his son's cheek tenderly with his finger.
The infant began to mewl as he woke up, his mewls woke his sister who began to mewl as well. This woke up their mother, who began to care for them and soothe them. The infants quieted as their mother soothed them and fed them.
Gilen was in love as he watched his wife and infants, they were so precious. He had to protect them. He had to.
The babies glowed as they settled down, small balls of light surrounded them.
"My family.," the woman said softly and let her own magic glow for her children.
