Chapter Thirty-three: Sleepover tears

(Y/n) was in a trance as she stared at the silvery celestial body, the sound of footsteps brought her from her trance.
Lutz had taken the food she made for him from the fridge, "Danke."
"You're welcome.", the albino female said and returned her gaze to the moon.
"Jou know, I used to see jour mutter as a goddess like jour brüder.", the blond German said as he ate, "So did Luci."
The albino woman looked back to the blond, "But you stopped?"
"Jour mutter never came back, we lost hope of her returning.", Lutz answered, "We thought that she was gone forever. Luci wanted to make a deal with her for centuries but she was gone."

"You did stop though, right?", the albino asked again.
"Ja. I did.", the blond man replied and continued to eat, "Jou are good cook."
(Y/n) nodded warily.
The German ate the meal and washed the dish before going back to his couch place to sleep.
"That does not look like it would be comfortable.", the silver haired female commented, "why are you not in your bed?"
"I'm too lazy to go to my room.", the German male answered.
The silver haired female looked back at moon, she could feel the German looking at her.
"Why are you staring?", the albino female asked.
"Jou look a lot like jour mutter.", The blond man said, "And jour vater."
(Y/n) looked back to Lutz.
The German man was watching her out the corner of his eye, not a perverted gaze but a watchful one.

"Mien bruder likes jou.", Lutz said.
"He is a sweet man.", (y/n) replied, "I like him too."
"Jou two could become a couple", the blond said then yawned, "but zhat is jour decision."
"You're delusional, go to sleep.", the female said then yawned too.
"Jou sound like Jou need sleep.", The pinkish eyed man said, "Jou can take any bedroom jou find."
"Tak.", the silver haired female replied.
The German closed his eyes and fell asleep.
(Y/n) stayed awake and looked at the moon, its beautiful silver glow shimmered as it lit the darkened night around the house.

She got up and heard a loud thump, it came from the basement.
She quickly and quietly ran down to check Gilen, the albino Prussian was awake and fighting back tears in his eyes.
He had fallen off his bed and hit a the side of the bed with his arm.
(Y/n) kneeled beside him and looked at the arm, it was a fracture.
The woman was already tired but she had to help him, gently she let her magic flow into the arm to heal it as best as she could.
She used the magic she took from the moon gazing she did previously.
Gilen's tear fell onto her hand as she held his arm softly.
His bones had to be brittle from his inability to get vitamin D activation from the sun, he looked like he had not been outside in a long time.
The albino female released his arm when she was done and yawned a little.

"Are you okay Gilen?", the female asked.
The albino male nodded and held his arm, "Danke."
"Do you need anything?", (y/n) asked.
"Nien.", the albino male replied.
She helped him into bed.
The female was about to get up when a hand held onto her arm, "Please don't go."
Gilen's voice was soft and pleading.
(Y/n) kneeled beside his bed and smiled, "I'll stay right here."
The silvery-white haired woman held the albino man's hand, he held hers rightly as if terrified of something.

'He's like a scared little child', she thought to herself and thought back to how she had nightmares.
They were similar, both had fears and weaknesses that their families want to protect.
Lutz seemed to be concerned about his brother even though he did not verbally voice it.
She watched the albino male settle back down to sleep, she lightly brushed his hair away from his face.
(Y/n) stayed with Gilen for a long time, he slept peacefully as she was keeping guard.
She could feel herself slipping into sleep as well.
'It won't hurt to sleep for a little while, would it?', she thought to herself and drifted off as she lay her head on the mattress.

Loki hummed as he walked through his friend's manor, Dracul did not know that the Norwegian was already there.
The fiery haired man made his way to the kitchen to make some coffee for them, Oliver was going to be there soon.
He heard a exasperated sigh as footsteps entered the kitchen.
"Why did you not tell me that you were here?", The Romanian man asked.
Loki chuckled, "I wanted to surprise you."
The burned Norwegian saw that his friend looked like he had been hard at work, "So, has anything new happened?"
"Nu.", Dracul replied and looked at what Loki was doing, "Coffee?"
"Ja, we need something to keep us awake.", the fiery haired man said.

The black haired Romanian nodded and retrieved snacks from the cabinets to go with the coffee.
He found some of the leftover treats that (y/n) made and began to put them back when Loki saw them.
"Hey, those are cute.", The Norwegian chuckled, "Where'd you get them?"
"Had a craving for sweet.", Dracul lied as best he could.
The burned Norwegian examined the treats, "These look handmade. And they are my sister's favorites, strange."
The Romanian panicked internally, had Loki figured it out?
"Did you want to try them since my sister liked them?", the fiery haired man chuckled with mischief twinkling in his dull eyes of amethyst.
The red eyed Romanian nodded quietly, relieved that his friend did not suspect him of aiding the albino's escape.

Dracul knew he had to not be under much suspicion as his magic was opposite to (y/n)'s, they could seriously injure or kill each other with their power.
Loki hummed a little more as he poured himself some of the freshly brewed coffee and took a pastry, he sunk his teeth into the pastry before taking a sip of coffee.
"This is the best.", Loki smiled, "You have to tell me the bakery that made this, I could get some for Kanin when she comes back."
"I don't remember the name of the place.", the black haired Romanian said.
"Too bad.", Loki said and took another sip of his coffee.
Both men were quiet for a moment before Loki broke the silence.
"I need to be honest with you, Thurston is becoming more and more irritated.", The Norwegian spoke, "He will not stop being angry and will not calm down until his fiancée is back home."
The raven haired Romanian listened to his friend speak, "What if she does not want to marry him?"

Loki's face fell then darkened, "What did you say?"
"You should not push her to do what she is not comfortable with.", Dracul said, "She is a young woman who has been raised like she was a human for most of her life, she is most likely not comfortable with the idea of marriage to a man who is many centuries older than her."
The fiery haired Norwegian huffed, he thought Dracul out of anyone would see it his way.
"Do you think the cult will come back now that your sister has shown to have the same power as your mother?", The Romanian asked to get Loki on a different topic.
The Norwegian thought for a bit, it had been over eighteen years since they had been called a 'cult' for following their mother so loyally.
If the adoration transferred to (y/n) then some of the old followers might help with finding her.
There was also the possibility that some would try to steal her.
Like Luciano. That damned Italian was determined to make a deal with their mother for a long time.

The feeling of another person arriving through magic caught their attention as the pale Oliver stepped into the kitchen.
"Hello!", the cheery brit chirped
"Hej.", Loki responded.
"Alo.", Dracul greeted.
"Oh, pastries! How lovely!", the pinkish haired brit cheered and took one of the pastries, "This looks good."
"It is quite good.", the burned Norwegian smiled and took another bite of his pastry.
"Once you two finish those, we will get to work.", the Romanian said bluntly as usual.
The two others just nodded and chatted as they are their pastries.
'Please be safe, (y/n).", Dracul thought to himself as he walked down to prepare the room for their dark magical antics to ensue

It was almost daybreak when (y/n) woke up, she was still holding Gilen's hand.
His hand was gripped around hers in a gentle hold, his face was still in serene slumber.
Except they were face to face and she did not remember joining him in sleep.
The bed was big enough so that they had enough room for both on the mattress, that enough was not enough to answer how she was able to get on the bed itself.
Either she was moving in her sleep again or someone put her there.
Sure she was supposed to get up, but the need to sleep more and the warmth of the two albinos together made her sleepiness hard to fight.

Ruby red eyes opened and the usually pale face pinkened into a rosen hue.
"Good morning Gilen.", (y/n) whispered to the shy male.
The albino seemed to be ashamed, "I'm sorry."
"For what Gilen?", the violet-red eyed female asked as the Prussian sat up and curled up with his knees close to his chest.
"F-for putting jou up here vithout asking for jour input.", the white haired male said without looking at her. His voice was shaky.
"Is it okay if I hug you?", the albino female asked, "if you don't, I will respect that and talk about what is wrong."
Gilen was silent for a little bit before answering, "Ja. Jou can."

He felt a warm presence embrace him, a comforting and non-threatening touch.
Much different than the violent strikes that he had been given for many years.
Warm and nostalgic, like a time he had long forgotten.
"You don't have to apologize, you did a kind and good deed.", the albino woman spoke softly to the man, "You are a sweet person."
She could feel him shaking and shuddering like he was silently crying.
(Y/n) could feel that he was upset. Not from being kind, but some traumatic event that happened to him in his past. Perhaps more than one event.
The silvery haired young lady carefully moved so she was in front of him and gave him an embrace, "I'll be here if you need anything."
She was a bit surprised that he did not push her off like someone else with his past would, he shakily and slowly returned her embrace.

Gilen cried out what he needed to as she held him, she knew from experience that it is sometimes better to cry and let the emotions out than bottle them up.
The young lady silently prayed that he would find comfort after crying.
It was about a half hour before he stopped, small hiccups shook his body but he was better.
He held onto the young lady, his head rested on her shoulder.
"Do you feel better?", (y/n) asked softly, "You can tell me if you need anything."
"Jou are mien guest.", The albino man said but was silenced by a soft finger on his lips.
The silver haired female smiled at him, "I think you need some care more than me."
His face was red and his eyes widened a little.
His heart was beating fast as she held him gently as if he was a child that needed to be comforted, "Please tell me if there is something you need."
Gilen looked down, "Something to eat?"
"That sounds like a good idea.", the albino woman smiled and got up.
She held her hand out to him, "Come on, you can help me with what to fix for you and your brother."
Gilen nodded and took her hand, "J-Ja."
