Chapter Sixty-nine: Rebellion

(Nice)

(Y/n) looked through the magic tome she found, it was exactly what she was wanting to find. Voices from the back of her mind were telling her tips on magics that were flooding back to her memory. She was remembering how to fight. Flooding torrents, electrical storms, icy avalanches, fiery eruptions, all of it was coming back to her.
She placed the book down and felt the free-flowing magic that usually just seeped from her body constrict and keep itself in, quickly building in stockpile.
The sudden shift in her magic would more than likely alert Loki and Egil to her remembering how to fight and resist them. She would be less easy for them to control like this.
The silvery-white haired albino knew she had to prepare herself for the fight that will inevitably come. Her red-violet eyes looked down at the text and shut the book.
Her regret will be that she will be unable to save the children as they have already made their bonds to their patrons.
The albino Scandinavian stood and felt the approach of the Icelandic man.
"And so. My fight begins.," the woman said, "Only to escape. More preparation will be needed to end this completely."

Egil came into the library and looked around ready to fight but saw his sister was okay and alone, he relaxed.
"Kanina~ Are you feeling okay? Your magic suddenly disappeared.," The platinum haired male said with his usual relaxed voice, "I'd be happy to help you get over whatever illness you got."
(Y/n) gripped the rabbit in her arms and sent it away with her magic, her back was turned to him and her hair hid what she was doing.
Egil stepped closer, "Kanina?"
The albino could feel his coldness getting closer, "I want to be left alone."
She knew he would not do that, it was to keep the illusion that she was still herself. Her older brother giggled, "Aww, Are you pouty again because Thurston wants you to marry him?"

He inched even closer, about to touch her with his magic charged hand that would drop her into sleep if he had placed it on her head. He was not able to and his wrist was grabbed.
"I am not a foolish child.," (y/n) said as her eyes bore into his single one. His body shook with the realization that his sister had overcome him, that and that her face resembled their mother's when he got in trouble.
The Icelandic male soon after realized what was really happening, their caged goddess was rebelling with all of her stockpiled power.
A horrendously powerful wave of electricity flooded his system and fried him, he collapsed to the floor and was left there as the woman walked away calmly.
The albino knew this was cruel but she did not want to stay any longer.
The sound of her shoes on the hard floor was interrupted by the voice of her Swedish brother calling for her, "Hey, lillasyster. Have you seen Egil? He ran off when we were talking."

"I did.," the female replied.
The swede grinned, "Oh good! Where is he-"
His face dropped with a pain to his torso, he looked down to see his sister's hand embedded in his chest before a searing pain he knew too well flashed. Fire magic. His red eyes widened when he looked back up to hers and fell off of her hand, she stepped over his body and continued to the yard to her eacape. The blood of the swede stained her dress.
She walked out side and the the edge of the barrier when her name was called, "(y/n)!"
The albino Scandinavian looked behind her to Magnus and Loki.
"Where do you think you're going, Kanin?," the Norwegian asked with a smile before he saw the blood on her dress, "Oh. Now what did you do?"
(Y/n) did not reply to them but held her hands up and readied her magic, a massive Shockwave of electricity shot through the yard and hit the two.
Both fell to their knees and felt their hot blood bleed from their noses and whatever else. The look on their sister's face was scary as she looked like she was finally releasing her built up anger.
Thurston came out of his workshop in the garden labyrinth and was hit with a water torrent laced with electricity. He went down quick, his body twitching from the power.

Loki got up and was ready to fight, he wiped the blood from his nose and mouth. The sharp taste of iron still burned on his tongue.
"Are you done with your tantrum?," He asked and readied his fire magic, "Come back inside Kanin, we will forgive your misbehavior."
The kids who were inside had come out to see what all the noise was, they were met with the sight of the light magi woman at the barrier staring down the pyromancer.
"This is not a tantrum, this is a rebellion.," (y/n) said, "I don't want to be used as your Goddess any longer and I have no intention of filling the role my mother left for me, I want to marry someone I love. You will keep me and my power caged no longer, we are through!"
It was the light magic Shockwave from her that sent Loki flying back, Markus covered Craig and the others with his own body to shield them from the sudden burst of power.

Her face finally softened once the dust settled and she and the kids were all left standing, "You can either come with me or stay here. You can find better people to help you than these brothers of mine."
"I-I can't g-go. I-I have be-been exposed t-to dark magic.," Craig said, "An ex-exposure to y-your magic wo-would be painful."
"I can't go back.," Terri said, "I just can't. Not when my parents are looking for me for the wrong reasons."
The others all gave their reasons why the could not go before Asked hugged the female's legs, "Don't go."
(Y/n) kneeled down and hugged him, "For you kids, I won't be far. But I won't be the goddess that I an expected to be. I'm not a goddess after all, I'm just an Immortal."
The albino woman gave the rest hugs as well.
"I wish you all would come with me. But I probably wouldn't be able to take care of you.," the female replied, "This is truly not a safe place for children if I'm not here."
"I'll protect them.," Markus said, "I'll protect them, I swear."
(Y/n) nodded as she got up and put her finger over her lips, "Don't tell them how I can be summoned okay? That's only for you kids to know and I promise to be there. Take care of each other."
She disappeared after that. The kids knew she would be there for them, she was honest. But to lose someone that was like a surrogate mother to them hurt, she offered to take them with her but they refused. Craig had the only real excuse for his own health.

Malthe walked home from shopping, he was smiling happily as he walked. It was a beautiful day and he felt good after seeing his daughter at the zoo. He was also happy about seeing the little boy that was technically his grandson.
Aske was adorable and he wanted to see the boy more.
A little sadness was in his heart that his wife was not there to see their daughter grown up or little Aske. He was sad that his brothers were also unable to see them as well.
He saw a familiar pair of blonds and walked over to them, "Hej, America and England."
"Hey dude.," America said with a saddened tone.
"Hello.," England replied.
"What is wrong America?," Malthe asked.
"The two little girls your sons took in beat me then robbed me.," the American replied, "My cards are all maxed out and my keys are gone."
"We just came back from the bank after explaining the to them.," the British man said.

"I apologize for the actions of my sons.." Malthe said with a sigh.
America raised his hand up, "Don't, your sons are responsible for their actions and the actions they are teaching these children."
"I am concerned about the children, where did they come from? How did they get into contact with your sons?," England spoke, "From what America said, some have missing persons reports that were filed on them."
The blond Scandinavian thought then looked up, "The only thin I could think of, is that they called Loki through a ritual as a last resort. They must be from rough backgrounds, Aske definitely looked like he had been abused and neglected."
"You met Aske?," America asked and got a nod from the Scandinavian, "Cute little dude."
The three continued to talk as they all walked to the Nordic house and went inside to have lunch together.

They were met with Finland on the phone with someone.
The Finn saw Malthe and waved him over, "It's Luxembourg and Gilen, they want to set up a lunch meeting."
"That sounds great. Wait, why is Gilen with Luxembourg?," Malthe asked as Finland gave him the phone.
The Finn greeted their guests and walked of into another room as the blond man put the receiver up to his ear.
"Luxembourg?," the Scandinavian man asked.
"Ja. Hello, Malthe. You heard that Gilen is a guest if mine now right?," the male asked with a cheerful tone, "I was wondering if you don't mind him coming to the lunch meeting?"
"Of course he can come.," Malthe replied, "We'll have room for him."
He heard the chatting of the two on the other side of the phone, the happy voices on the other side made the man smile. It made him happy to make others happy.
He heard Luxembourg tell Gilen, "Go ahead and talk to him. He'd like to hear your stories."

There was silence on the other end before a small, "Hallo."
"Hej Gilen.," Malthe replied.
"It's okay for me to come?," the Prussian asked.
"Of course.," the blond Scandinavian male said, "We'd love to have you. And I'd love to hear any stories you have to share."
He could no hear the Prussian on the other side, "Gilen."
"D-Danke.," the Prussian said.
"Of course.," the man replied, "We look forward to speaking to you."
He heard a small happy whine and the hanging up of the phone after a 'goodbye.'

Edman chuckled after he heard the planning for the family lunch meeting, he never expected Gilen to run away from Luciano. It was amusing that he did though.
The red haired Estonian chuckled as he scanned over the screens to find the woman, just in case. He saw many of the other countries and 2ps on the screens everywhere. No sign of the gorgeous albino woman.
"Is she still caged by her brothers?," he asked himself, "I hope not. She was pretty comforting to have around."
He kept rolling through the surveillance feeds until he saw something. A flash of white and the long flowing hair of a woman, the hair seemed to be moving on its own as she woman looked around and found somewhere to hide.

The Estonian found that she was nearby. Should he go and offer the poor woman some assistance? He could get something in return for his troubles.
He did not want to move though, he was content with looking at her. He decided to keep watching her through the feeds as he chuckled, "Ah, mu kallis. You don't know how much you gave me such thoughts."
His little friend had returned and he had all the time in the world before his allies and boss would call upon his expertise for blackmailing and information on any enemies they could have.
His small chuckles turned into a laugh, a sigh was let put afterwards.
He was getting uncomfortable and needed to take care it soon.
"Oh well. Just a little bit and I will see what I feel like doing.," the male said to himself.
