Chapter sixteen: Drage
(Y/n) ate breakfast with Magnus, the large Dane enjoyed her company and did his paperwork.
"Thurston had to leave to do an assignment.", Magnus explained to her, "I hope you won't be too upset."
"I want to go back to far.", the albino female said plainly.
The Dane's eyes looked a bit upset, "Is there anything you wanted to do for your birthday?"
The silver-white haired female looked away from her brother, "I want to leave."
"Loki can show you around our territory.", The Dane offered.
"I want to go home to Far.", The violet-red eyed female said.
Magnus began to break his calm tone, "Do you want to spend the day playing with Egil?"
"I don't want to be here.", (y/n) said.
"You cannot leave us.", Magnus finally said, "you hold more importance to us than you know."
"What is that importance?!", (y/n) snapped at her brother.
"I can't tell you that yet.", the Dane responded calmly.
The silver-white haired female got off of her brother and walked out of his office.
Magnus made no attempt to stop her.
She walked away from the office and down the hall.
She saw that the magic seal was no longer on the door, the door was wide open.
The female ran out if the door and through the wide area of her Brother's territory.
(Y/n) slowed down when she got to a ruined area, it looked like a town or small city that was destroyed by fire and explosions.
She walked through the town and looked at the destroyed buildings, "what happened here?"
She smelled the scent of smoke, cigarette smoke.
Someone else was there.
The sound of footsteps approached, footsteps far bigger than human.
The ground shook as the being approached.
Her breath caught in her throat as a massive head turned the corner of a ruined building.
The large horns stained red at the tips, the hide was rust colored, eyes like peridot.
A bull dragon.
The albino female backed up from the dragon.
He spotted her and turned to face her directly, the right side of his face was scarred like he was in several severe fights.
The dragon walked out from behind the building and closer to the female, she backed away and was backed into a wall.
The dragon's muzzle stopped right at her stomach and warm breath blew onto her.
"Drage, buddy. Stop.", the familiar voice of the burned Norwegian said.
(Y/n) looked up and saw Loki sitting on the ledge above her.
"Hej kanin.~", Loki chimed and blew out smoke from his cig, "I see you got out again."
the albino female scowled at her brother, "Any way to get away from you."
"And yet you did exactly as I wanted, the door being open to you was not an accident.", The Norwegian admitted, "I left it open and gave the environment subtle clues for you to come right to me. Unfortunately you saw my bad habit."
The fiery haired man put out the cigarette, "But now we are out here and I can spend time with you, without interruptions or overprotective shitheads."
Loki jumped onto the outstretched claw of the Dragon then down next to (y/n), he picked her up after she fell onto the ground.
"I think we need to have a good long talk.", the Norwegian said and climbed onto the dragon, "And I know just where to do it."
The albino female struggled in her brother's arms as the dragon took off with them on his back.
The burned Norwegian was surprisingly good at restraining people, he held her still and away from harm during the flight.
(Y/n) stopped struggling after a while after seeing there was no escape with how high they were.
The Norwegian loosened his grip on her, "You could have had your freedom. But you kept misbehaving."
"What are you talking about?", the Scandinavian female asked with a scowl.
"We could have given you the privilege to have some freedom, but only if you agreed to behave.", the burned male answered, "All you had to do was to obey us, not fight and let us take care of you."
The dragon set down on a mountain and walked into a cave, he lay down and breathed fire onto a flammable object set there for the purpose of light.
A cave of treasure hidden in that mountain, all kinds of treasures that were lost to history were there in that cave.
Loki got his sister off of the Dragon and took her to a pile of furs and pillows, a nest of sorts.
"My favorite place to be away from the others.", The Norwegian said proudly, "Ive shared this with Drage for many many years. Since before Viking times."
Loki caught her when she tried to run away after he turned his back, "The only way you can get out is with flight. Otherwise you have a fall from the cliff."
The burned man set her back in the nest.
"This is a game to you! You treat me more as an expensive toy rather than a person.", the violet-red eyed female snapped at him, "you and the others treat me more like a pet than a little sister! A pretty plaything that is just for you."
She turned her back to him and covered her ears so she could not hear him say anything to her.
Loki knew this behavior all too well, he had done it to their mother when he was a child.
He sat next to her and put his arm around her, not saying anything.
He was going to wait out her little pouting session.
Drage lay upon a pile of treasure, the dragon rested his head next to the two siblings.
Loki looked at his sister and thought about what she said, she would not want to listen to what he had to say yet but he would wait this out.
The Norwegian got bored and began to talk about different things, his dreams, what he thought of his 1p, how he met drage and others.
"So I know what Bernard made you do this morning.", Loki spoke, "And I know that it probably made you sick. But he can't eat anything else."
Drage started to fall asleep from listening to his owner for so long.
"Well a long time ago, there was not much to eat so we had to make do with what we had even going as far as to eat people we came across. The only thing was that Bernard kept getting killed by starving or hunting.", the Norwegian spoke as he told the tale, "During that time his body adapted to be able to safely eat human, but now it is the only thing he can eat. His body rejects all other food."
The burned male felt his sister take her hands of her ears as he talked, so he continued.
"He can drink stuff. He prefers booze and coffee to water though.", Loki chuckled, "He told me he once tried liver paired with chianti, it was not as good as a certain movie would have us believe. Utter garbage is what he said it was."
The fiery haired Norwegian lightly pulled her close to him and kissed the top of her head, "Ah silly kanin. I'm not mad at you, even if you are at me."
(Y/n) pouted from his attention, he only chuckled.
"When mor died, we lost our anchor.", Loki said and hugged his sister, "When you were taken, we lost even more. We need you. Seventeen years without you was too long."
The male sat his sister in his lap, his arms went right around her.
"I still want to be let go.", the albino female whined.
"I am only going to say this once.", Loki spoke in a serious tone, "I love you, little sister."
His face was in her hair and he was taking in her smell.
The Norwegian did not smell like he had been smoking earlier, he smelled like ashes and firewood.
"Let's go out.", the burned man said and picked up the female, "Drage, come on. Time to go."
The dragon lifted his head and shook his body after getting up.
Loki jumped onto the dragon with the female in his arms.
The dragon walked out of the cave and flew off into the sky with the siblings on his back.

Malthe downed the last of his drink.
Denmark had joined him and Norway in drinking, much to Norway's disappointment.
The blond Dane placed down his empty beer glass, "You never exactly told us why (y/n) is special besides that she is immortal and has incredible magic potential."
"She was planned to be a replacement for my wife.", Malthe replied, "She will inherit all of her mother's power, she was supposed to take her place when she was ready but I made sure they never got the chance to implement the brainwashing my wife did to the other children."
the blond father placed his glass down, "I still hate the idea of my children being this evil."
Norway nodded, "But you did your best to keep your daughter away from their evil and keep their power from spreading."
"That and to keep (y/n) happy and safe.", Malthe replied, "I want to let her have a future where she does not have to be pressured into anything, especially relationships."
"You mean her being forced to marry Thurston.", Denmark said and made a pointing motion to Malthe with his finger.
The golden maned man nodded, "Ja. That."
"I have heard from Luxembourg that he does enjoy her company and assistance when she visits him.", Norway said with a little smile, "And she seems to enjoy his company."
"You're not going to set up a date for them are you?", Denmark said with a small frown, "You're suddenly playing matchmaker norge?"
"Shut it dan.", Norway responded and finished his alcohol, "we are just talking about her relationships."
Malthe looked up and saw Iceland looking into the room, he reached out to invite the young man in but the Icelander retreated from him.
Denmark poured himself more alcohol and took a drink, "I only hope she is unharmed."
"The one thing that they will avoid at all costs is to harm her.", Malthe said, "They did not kill me so they could keep her from having emotional and mental harm."
"How considerate.", Norway said like he tasted something foul.
Iceland hid as he listened to their conversation, he held his phone that held pictures of the female close to him.
He was concerned about her and did not want her to be in danger.
The Icelandic male wanted to her to be back home and safe.
He returned to his room and went back to writing in his journal, a way to keep up with records and dreams.
The puffin he had flew over and sat on the desk, "So what you writing today tough guy?"
"Dreams.", the Icelandic male answered.
The puffin read some of the page and shook, "I hear enough of that when you're asleep."
"Shut up bird.", the male muttered and continued to write.
Mr puffin squawked when the door to Iceland's room opened and a knock was on the door.
"Iceland?", Malthe asked.
Iceland closed his journal after writing the last word, "Já?"
"Are you doing okay?", Malthe asked.
The Icelandic male could not lie, Malthe acted like a father to him and his brothers.
That kind of made (y/n) being a sister to them even easier.
"I am fine.", The silver haired male answered.
"You are not.", Malthe responded, "You are worried."
Iceland nodded quietly.
"Iceland, it is not your fault.", Malthe said, "If you want to blame anyone for what is happening, blame me or my wife."
the male did not speak.
"I'll let you be.", The blond Scandinavian said and closed the door.
Iceland looked back to where Malthe was and lay his head on his desk, "Your wife is a horrible person."
