Chapter fifty-three: the hacker.

Edman leaned back in his chair and grinned at his guests, "It is surprising to see you five here, especially since you do not have such a good opinion of me."
"We still do not, but your skills are required.," Magnus said, "Locate our sister and you will be paid handsomely."
"I would but... how do I know you won't cheat me out of my money?," the Estonian asked, "You sneaky shits could Short me on the cash."
"Or you might take Kanin away from us.," Loki said.
"True, true. We really can't trust each other much.," the messy red haired male said and leaned back in his chair, "How could we even make a deal such as this?"
"We're going nowhere with this.," Thurston said, "Kulta is still out there and in danger."
"In danger from you.," Edman muttered under his breath before waving, "I'll keep an eye out, no promises though."
The males had no reason to stay any longer, Edman was a slippery bastard that knew how to manipulate information.

The Estonian man chuckled as he watched his 'guests' leave, "Fools... such fools."
He turned on the feed from the German and Prussian's home, he watched as the albino Scandinavian moved through the frames and took care of the two.
"I should go pay them a visit. Just to see how it goes.," he laughed to himself, "Perhaps leave with a little pet."
He ran his fingers through greasy hair, "A shower first though. Have to look presentable."
The Estonian got up and showered before changing to go visit the three he had been watching.
He made sure he was no followed as he made his way to the house that held the young prize inside, his anticipation grew with each step closer he was.
Edman knocked on the door and heard the young woman inside say she would check who it was before being scolded by the German for being loud.
He waited before the door opened and the pale but beautiful young woman opened the door, her beauty was even greater now. The innocent light in her eyes shone through with great clarity.

The red haired Estonian put on a grin, "Halloo."
"H-hej...," the female said and looked back to the males in the house, "It's not them. It's someone else."
"Who is it?," the blond German asked.
"I don't know.," the female responded and turned to the man, "I'm sorry, do you need something mister..."
"Edman. Edman von Bock.," He said and made a small bow to her, "I was just in the area and wanted to see how my old friends were."
"My name is (y/n) Køhler.," the female said with a smile, "Nice to meet you."
(Y/n) opened the door and Edman saw the German standing behind her with his arms crossed.
"Leave, now.," Lutz said to the Estonian.
"Is that an appropriate way to greet an old friend?," the red haired male said with a forced smile.
"It's an appropriate vay to greet jou. Leave.," the pink eyed German repeated.
"Even though I did nothing?," the green eyed Estonian asked, "You are being quite rude, isn't he miss (y/n)?."

"Leave her out of zhis.," the German said, "(y/n), get avay from him, zhat scoundrel is a pervert and a cheat."
(Y/n) backed away from the male and looked at Lutz, "Like you?"
"Vorse. He's a hacker and a blackmail artist.," Lutz responded.
"How cruel your words are, and I just came to see you.," the Estonian said, "You really are mean."
"I doubt zhat jou came to see me und Glen vithout vanting anyzhing.," the blond German said stood in front of the female, "I zhink zhat jou vanted to see her."
"You got me~," edman said in an expertly feigned tone of play and innocence, "I wanted to see the lovely woman I heard rumors about."
He smiled to (y/n), she shivered as she could see it was a bit of a mask.
He stopped smiling after seeing her shiver, "Oh, what is wrong sweetheart?"
"She sees past jour mask, you snake.," Gilen said as he came up from behind the female, "Jou vere likely hired by her brothers to find her."
"They wanted to. But I refused.," edman said with a shrug, "It was fun to tease them though."

(Y/n) could tell he was telling the truth with that.
She felt Gilen take her arm, "Come on. Let's go back."
Edman looked past Lutz, "At least invite me in to speak before sending me away."
"Nein.," Both of the germanic males said.
"you two don't trust me?," the Estonian asked.
"Nein.," Lutz responded, "You will sell any information you find against us."
"What if I say that I can't do that without putting myself and her in danger as well?," the green eyed male asked with a charming grin, "At least let me speak to her~"
"Not a chance.," the German said and stood in the doorway to block the entrance, "And do not zhink of coming by later to talk to her. Ve swore zhat ve vould protect her."
The albino woman pulled away from Gilen in order to peek at the handsome and Mysterious Estonian. He looked a lot like one of the men that her dad knew.
"Not even to help hide her from your boss or her brothers?," the Estonian asked with a smile, "Because I have places to hide her. For a price."
"No price is worth what you offer.," Gilen spoke and pulled the female into the house.
He knew that Edman was using his charms to pull the female in, just like his boss did when she first woke from her coma.
Gilen pulled her into the back of the house and let her go in his room, "I am sorry (y/n). He is too dangerous for jou to be near."
"I want to see though.," (y/n) said and pulled against him, "I want to see."
"He is manipulative und a pervert, I don't vant to see jou hurt again.," the Prussian said and pulled her into the back, "He is very bad news."
The albino male did not let her go, she had to listen to him. He was not being mean or controlling, he legitimately wanted to help her.

Lutz glared at the Estonian as he kept the male from entering his house, "Jou aren't velcome, as I told jou already.  Leave Edman."
"How unfortunate, I just wanted to say hello and offer some services.," the red haired Estonian sighed, "But you are being pretty mean."
"I doubt zhat is all, jou are as much as if not more perverted zhan I am.," the German man said.
"You can't stop me from coming back to visit.," Edman said and flipped a knife between his fingers, "I can find a way to talk to her. You might as well let me have a talk with the little lady."
"Jou are a snake, jour vords may be nice but jou are far from harmless.," Lutz replied, "I von't let jou speak to her."
The Estonian's smile fell before it returned to his face with a wide wickedness, "What about the times you have to go back to work? Your boss wants her as much as I do. How would you protect her from both of us I wonder?"
The German male knew he was being backed into a corner, it was true. Both the Estonian and Luciano had admiration for the young woman, he and Gilen were limited on what they could do unless she remembered how to use her magic. They were asked to watch her by Dracul, but he feared Dracul was killed.

Edman started to laugh wickedly, "I see that you are having doubts after all. How precious... What if I promise to not touch her in the slightest?"
"Jour promises mean nozhing.," Lutz quickly snapped. He already knew he was being a bit of a hypocrite as he broken many promises over many years of his immortal life.
The Estonian knew this all too well, he had intel on almost every immortal country and human in the world. He could have anyone around his fingers in the blink of an eye, he could destroy lives or promote people on a whim.
He was dangerous for that and his capricious nature made him even more so. He could be an ally one minute and the next he would be the one slitting his 'friend's' throat.
His wicked smile towards Lutz showed that he knew of the predicament the German wad in, he had more power over the situation than Lutz did.
The red haired Estonian turned on his heels and raised his a hand in the air to wave to the German, "Oh well, I'll just have to come by later. Perhaps you'll be more willing to talk then~ I look forward to entertaining more notions~"

The devilish grin that played on his lips as he looked back at the German made Lutz's blood run cold.
"Let's hope I'm still in a good mood then, hmm?," he continued on his way and finally left Lutz's line of sight, the blond German's skin was crawling from how edman grinned.
Lutz shut the door and locked it before going back to check on the two albinos, both of them looked up at him with their large eyes.
He just looked back at them before leaving them alone.
The German got himself a drink before going to bed.
Gilen let (y/n) Get out of the room once danger had passed and apologized if he seemed to mean.
The female put his fears to rest as she understood it was to protect her.
Both sat quietly on the couch, afraid of what to say to the other. They sat on the ends of the couch with an empty cushion between them.
(Y/n) had her hand on the edge of the middle cushion and felt the brush of fingers against hers, she looked over to Gilen and saw he was looking away from her.
The albino female placed her hand over his and looked from him quickly, she felt his body weight shift on the couch as he looked at their hands.
They did not need to speak.
That was enough of a conversation of trust.

-

Edman chuckled as he looked at the two albinos through the hidden cameras he placed in the German's home.
"How sickeningly sweet.," he said to himself and looked to another screen, "If only you could see her Malthe, but you're in danger of dying if your sons catch you."
He tapped his fingers together in a scheming motion.
The screen he was watching had the female's father on it, he was talking with Norway again.
"I could throw a bone and see what chaos would come from it...," the Estonian said and pondered over what he could do. What would cause him the most amusement and gratification while being the least dangerous?
He heard footsteps after a door was opened, "you're watching her again, huh."
The voice of Taris pulled him from his scheming.

He spun around in his big comfortable chair, "Of course. What else would I do? I am the one who watches the world~"
"You're a pervert, blackmailer, black market hacker and a generally unpleasant bastard.," Taris said, "What the hell makes you think you would have a chance with her?"
Edman did not give a verbal answer but gave his ally a grin.
"You are one sick bastard.," the Lithuanian said and walked out of the surveillance room.
Edman turned back to his monitors.
He may be a sick bastard, but he was also a clever sick bastard.
He will wait to play his cards just right in order to get what he wanted.
"I won't hurt you mu Kallis. Not until you ask me to anyways.," he chuckled to himself and began to watch the others who had eyes for the woman, "Might as well stir up some trouble while I wait though."
