Chapter Fifty-six: brother's fall

Magnus woke up from his nap in the afternoon sun, he stood up from under the tree he rested under and stretched, his body creaked and joints popped.
The blond male had been tracking his sister and the male she was with for about three weeks.
He still had not found her.
He had one last place to look.

Edman.

The Estonian may have the female.
Magnus picked up his massive axe and walked to the fortress he knew the Estonian made. It was no problem for him to get through the doors.
Just a heavy blow from his axe did the trick.
He walked through the front door and liked around, he smelled the smell of coffee lingering in the air.
The male decided to help himself to the dark and bitter liquid.
He got himself a cup and stood there with his axe as he heard footsteps approach.

-

(Y/n) hummed happily as she carried the files from the surveillance room to the office for Edman like she was asked to. She was not supposed to read them because of the classified information inside of them.
She walked by the kitchen and saw a glint of gold. She stopped and looked into the dark kitchen.
The light was off and she could not see well into there, she saw the outline of a large person there though. She assumed it was one of Edman's friends and  kept walking.
She placed the heavy stack of files on the Estonian's desk, "Now for some tea!"
The Scandinavian walked back to the kitchen and turned the light on, the person was no longer there.
She heated up water to make tea and watched the pot boil before putting the tea in it.

The Scandinavian smiled and hummed while swaying side to side with the tempo of the song.
Her nose picked up on a familiar scent and she froze.
Large arms wrapped around her and pulled her into a large and warm body.
"Lillesøster. Did he do anything to you?," the voice of her eldest brother made her shake.
Her inability to answer him made him believe that she was being threatened, her smaller shaking body was picked up for him to hold.
Magnus ran his hand over her smooth hair and held her close, "It is okay, your brother is here to protect you."
(Y/n) stopped shaking and started struggling to get away from him, her small hands pushed against him to try to escape his grasp.

"(Y/n), Are you making us some tea?," the voice of Edman asked, "can you make some for our guests for later?"
"Edman run!," (y/n) shouted and the male ran into the kitchen to see her struggle against her older brother.
"Dammit.," the Estonian said.
Magnus looked pissed when he turned to look at Edman.
The Dane threw his sister over his shoulder and picked up his axe, "Don't think that I haven't found out.. you kidnapped and sold her before, sold her to the Italian."
(Y/n) could tell that he was not lying, her brother was telling the truth. But why would Edman do something like that?
The Estonian jumped back when Magnus swung his axe, the axe came down with a loud crash and broke the floor tiles.

"I'm taking her home, Edman. But first, I need to kill you.," the Dane said.
The man picked his axe up again and threw it at the Estonian, it sliced the Estonian's legs off. Edman fell down onto the floor as the Dane walked up and pulled the axe off of the ground.
The man stepped on the bleeding one's chest to pin him to the ground, "You did not hurt my sister, did you?"
(Y/n) struggled, kicking and hitting Magnus to get away.
"Leave Edman alone! Monster!," the female yelled at her older brother as she kicked his gut multiple times.
Magnus stumbled as he felt the pain from her kicks, he saw a glint of a gun.
Edman shot at the male from the hidden handgun he had. The red haired Estonian nailed the shot on Magnus's body to hit his lung.
The blond man faltered and dropped the young woman. He reached out to grab her when she scampered away bit was stopped by another shot from the Red haired Estonian.

Magnus looked at him in a rage and was caught between the eyes by a sharp shot from the Estonian.
The Dane fell to the floor with a loud resounding thud.
Edman knew he did not have long with how much he was bleeding out, he could not have or protect this woman now. He had to take himself out.
"(Y/n), I want you to run. Keep running, don't stop for anyone. Don't stop running until you reach a place you feel safe in.," the Estonian ordered, "GO!"
(Y/n) ran out of the bunker and she kept running. She did as he asked and did not stop for anyone.
She looked around for somewhere to hide. All she saw were places that she could be ambushed in. This new knowledge of the vile world made her terrified.
She kept running about and avoiding people.

She was in just a long button up shirt with her underwear underneath, no shoes.
Blood stained the shirt she had on. Her feet were dirty from the roads she ran on.
A policeman found her when she was resting in a place she could easily defend, he was trying to talk to her but she ran away quickly from him.
She kept going and going, stopping only to rest every so often.
The female found herself in a beautiful place when she finally did stop running to rest again.
It looked like a beautiful and rich area. She hid in an alley to keep out of sight and be able to rest away from the sun.
It was becoming dark as the sun was setting she heard the movement of many people go by.

She heard a bark and the tapping of animal claws.
(Y/n) heard a man speak and the claws of the animal come up to her and the fuzzy head of a dog lay on her lap.
The warm chocolate colored dog warmed up the female from the cold evening air.
She petted the head if the dog, "Hello. Where did you come from?"
The female heard her name and looked up the handsome face of Luxembourg met her eyes.
The male looked very concerned with her safety.
"(Y/n), what happened to you?," the man asked the exhausted female as another man walked up behind him, "I need help getting her back home, can you help me?"
The Scandinavian female looked back down to the dog before being picked up by a male with a scarf and a scar on his forehead, Luxembourg sighed.
"Thank you, Brudder.," the brunet male said to the blond and got a nod in return.
The two walked back out of the alley and met up with a blonde woman with a cat-like smile.

She heard the three talk and was taken to Luxembourg's home.
"Belgium, can you please help her? She looks tired.," the Luxembourgish male asked.
"Of course!," the female replied, "I'll help your girlfriend.,"
The blonde took the female to the tub to scrub her down and give her clean clothes afterwards. The Belgian woman was cheery as she wiped the blood from the porcelain skin of the young Scandinavian woman.
"My brother really loves you, I can see why, you are so pretty!," she said as she dried the female's hair with a fluffy towel, "Your hair seems to glow."
(Y/n) was put into a dress that fit her, Belgium told her that it was from Malthe. The Scandinavian was surprised that her father sent a dress to Luxembourg for her.
The blond female led her back to where Luxembourg was, the brunet man seemed relieved to see her safe.

He was as handsome as she saw in her mind, his kind blue-green eyes shimmered with a loving light.
The female shyly sat next to Luxembourg after he asked her to do so.
He immediately asked her if she was okay, the female nodded in return.
(Y/n) felt her heart pounding, she felt her love for the man make her face heat up with her blush.
The brunet man put his arm around her and embraced her warmly. The female relaxed in his hold.
The Luxembourgish male talked softly with his brother and sister as the female enjoyed his company, he asked her if her memory loss rumor was true?
She responded that it was. His face was saddened and asked her if she remembered him.
"I could never forget you luxxie.," (y/n) said and gave him a smile, "I love you."
Belgium giggled, "You two are as adorable as ever!"
The albino Scandinavian blushed and felt the Luxembourgish male hug her a little tighter, it was a hug to tell her she was okay.
She let her head rest on his shoulder.

-

Loki paced around, his eldest brother was missing. What happened?
He paced and smoked a cigarette as he did, the smoke drifted around him.
The Norwegian was getting worried, Magnus never went solo for this long. He usually called for backup by now. If the Dane did go solo for along period of time, it was usually a bad sign.
The fiery haired Norwegian sighed and sat down on the bench in the hall, he held his head in his hand as the other held his cigarette.
His leg bounced from his anxiety and energy, he needed to know. He had to know. What the hell happened to his brother?

The Norwegian heard movement and looked up. It was the scarlet eyes of Thurston. The Finnish male stared down harshly, "No word?"
"None, he never is out this long.," the Norwegian answered, "I'm going to take Drage out to look for him."
"I'll come with you. I have a feeling about this.," the Finn said, "And to get away from the dumbasses here."
"I'm usually one of the dumbasses you want to get away from.," Loki chuckled and got a flick to the head, "Ow."
"Let's go.," the Finnish man said and walked away to where the dragon was.

Loki put out his cigarette and followed Thurston, the Finn was already perched on the large dragon and waiting for the Norwegian.
The fiery man jumped up to his spot on the dragon and ordered the beast to take off.
With a mighty roar and a grand liftoff, Drag rose into the sky. The rusty colored dragon flew gracefully through the air and glided on the streams.
It was quiet and beautiful in the night.
"Where the hell are you Maggie?," Loki asked nobody in particular and looked back to Thurston. The Finn was looking up into the sky as he had a thoughtful expression that was not angry or anything.
"Penny for your thoughts.," the Norwegian said.
"Give me more and I'll consider.," Thurston replied.
Loki chuckled and hung onto the warm horns of the large dragon, "I wonder Where Lillesøster is and how she is doing."

The Finn sighed and zipped up his jacket, "She's probably hiding somewhere with someone we don't approve of."
The dragon sniffed the air and let out a huge roar before dropping out of the air, Loki and Thurston held onto his spines as he dove and opened his wings to stop his sudden drop.
The dragon landed lightly and clawed at the door of a partially submerged building, a bunker.
Loki jumped off of the beast and ducked into the building, he held his hand over his face as the stench of death hit his nose.
He lit a fire in his hand and lit up the area, he wished he did not.

Magnus's body lay on the floor with glassy eyes as he grasped his axe and a scrap of fabric. The other body was Edman, the man had the splatter marks on his head of a gunshot wound. Edman's face was surprisingly peaceful.
Loki stumbled out and held his hand over his mouth, his guts felt like they wanted to boil out of his mouth.
"Loki?," Thurston asked.
"Magnus is dead... Edman too.," the Norwegian replied before spilling his bile onto the ground, the bile ignited in contact with the air.
Drage sniffed at the air and let put a howl that was familiar to both, the howl he made when he smelled the Scandinavian female.
Thurston helped the Norwegian up and looked at the dragon that was clawing furiously at the ground.

The beast did not like the scent of death and decay, he wanted to get out of there.
Loki held to Drage's horns and cried, his brother was dead. Even though he would be back, it always hurt to see him dead.
Drage blew fire into the bunker, the alcohol and flammable materials within made it easy to do so.
The dragon lifted off into the sky just in time to avoid the large explosion that erupted from the bunker.
Magnus's body could regrow a fresh body with the old flesh destroyed now.
Loki wiped his eyes and knew what he had to do. They had to find (y/n) like Magnus had been doing. He had to be exhausted when he found her, that's why he was killed.
But first he had to go home and alert the others of what had occurred.
