Telling the gang
Darry's P.O.V.
Ring! Ring! Ring! the phone sings. I immediately pick it up. "Hello?" I ask into the phone.
"It's me," I hear a voice say.
"Basil?" I ask.
"Yea."
"What's wrong?"
"I need the gang to come to the Jersey shore."
"Why?"
"I have good news. Well I think it's good news but, it depends."
"What is it?"
"I'll tell you tomorrow just pack and be here tomorrow. Tell Pone, we have to go out and have some fun in the sun."
"Okay, I'll tell the boys they're all right here. Wanna talk to any of them?"
"Yea, Pone."
"Ok."
"Bye Darbear. By the way, I don't have cancer."
"Oh thank god, bye Bay."
Pone's P.O.V.
"Pony Basil's on the phone and she wants to talk to you," Darry informs me.
"Ok, thanks Darry," I smile.
"No problem," he replies.
I grab the phone, "hey Bay."
"Hey Pone."
"How's the cancer?"
"It's not here. I don't have it."
"That's great!"
"Well ya'll are coming to the Jersey shore tomorrow."
"That's gonna be so much fun. It's gonna be a vacation!"
"Yea, well I was thinkin' we should spend the day to just ourselves, since I've got here we haven't had a Pone and Basil day. I miss 'em. What do ya say?"
"Of course Bay! I'd love that!"
"Love ya Pone. See ya tomorrow."
"Kay, see ya Bay. Love ya too."
Bay's P.O.V.
"We're here!" I hear the gang yell through out the house the next day. I jump out of bed running into the other room to see five familiar faces.
"Ready Pone?" I ask.
"Yea, let's go," he answers.
We walk down the coastline of Jersey, I'm wearing my red with black lace bikini and Pone's wearing a solid black typical guys bathing suit. I jump into the ocean as the waves crash on the brutal shoreline. "Come on in Pone!"
"Uh, I'm fine," he mutters obviously nervous or scared. I sigh and get set up to catch a wave. I bend my knees in the water, as some small waves passed threw, I ignore them waiting for a big one. I look back to see a wave curling behind me, I take a few steps back so I wouldn't be in the impact zone. I watch as the wave comes through, now. I jump up getting on top of the wave. I swear there is nothing better than riding on top of a perfect wave. I shout out random noised indicating to the surfers and boards to look at me, soon the wave crashes and I roll into land. I look at my Pony who is staring at my soaking wet body with pure shock written all over his body. The rest of the day I teach Pony how to body board, once he gets the hang of it, he falls in love the same way I did. As the sun sets, we go back home. Time to tell them the news.
I stand in front of the gang, "hey ya'll as ya'll know I don't have cancer but, I do have an announcement to make. Well, it turns out, I'm preggers. I'm going to be a mom. The only issue is, the dad. It could be three different people. One, Steve Randall, two, Dallas Winston or three Two-bit Mathews. When the baby comes we need to get blood work done to find out the daddy."
Two mutters, "we used protection, I thought." I thought back to the night, we could have, I think we did actually but, I don't know.
"I think we did too but, I don't know," I reply.
"I know we didn't," Dally winks, making me bite my lip.
"I'm so sorry," Steve replies.
"I know you are Steve. The only thing is, if it's you how will we work it out. You know me being the mom, Dal being the boyfriend, and you being the father," I reply for the first time really thinking about it.
"I wouldn't be the dad, Dally will sign the birth certificate so he's legally the dad," Steve sighs.
"You don't have to Steve," I reply.
"But, I want to," he replies with a frown. I know he doesn't want to but, I also know he would do it.
"Well, let's enjoy the vacation 'cause I can body board for now but, no surfing," I pout.
"Awe, poor Basil," Soda fakes being sorry.
"What now?" I ask.
"We celebrate a baby joining the group," Darry suggests.
"I love that idea," I smile grabbing Dally's hand.
