jaebum started to panic. his eyes darted between the members, as they too looked worried.

"what happened?"

"is jinyoung okay?"

"where is jinyoung?"

questions flooded around the six, as they all tried to speak over each other. jaebum could practically feel his head throbbing at this point, everyone's words going in one ear and right out the other.

"enough!" jaebum says, causing the other five to freeze and look at him. "maybe if you all didn't fucking talk over each other, i could tell you what happened!"

"sorry," bambam mumbles, looking down.

"fucking hell," jaebum groans, closing his eyes for a moment and sighing. "jinyoung said that a few fans found him and wouldn't leave him alone. there was a loud noise and the call ended. he didn't answer when i tried to call him back."

the five looked at him, worrisome. despite talking so much before, they didn't seem to have any words to say at the time being.

"so i'm going to go look for him." jaebum says, pulling his jacket on.

"no," mark says, standing up. "you can't go by yourself."

"well too bad, that's what i'm doing." jaebum says, scoffing.

meanwhile, yugyeom was just about reduced to tears, leaning against bambam's shoulder as youngjae patted his back.

"no you aren't, are you fucking stupid?" mark says, starting to get irritated with the younger. "you literally just saw what happened to jinyoung when he went by himself. you're really going to subject yourself to the same fate?!" mark raises his voice, making the maknaes jump slightly.

"we're all going with you, whether you like it or not, jaebum." mark says, giving the other a stern look.

"like hell you are," jaebum says, "i'm just looking out for you! can't you see i'm trying to keep you and the others safe?!"

"don't you care about your own safety at all?!" mark barks back, he and jaebum only a few inches apart now. "you're not going by yourself!"

"fuck off!" jaebum yells, shoving mark and walking off. mark groans, running towards jaebum and motioning for the others to follow. they comply, catching up with the two.

"stop following me!" jaebum says, looking back at them. "do you want to get caught?! you all can be so damn stupid sometimes!"

jackson stops in his tracks, causing the maknaes to stop as well.

"you really hate us, don't you?" jackson says, causing jaebum and mark to stop and turn around.

"jackson," mark says, panting as he caught his breath.

"you really hate us, don't you, jaebum?" jackson says, his face blank. "you really hate us so much that you want to get away from us and potentially put us in danger."

"jackson, no," mark says, looking at him.

"i'm not talking to you." jackson says, his eyes still fixed on the leader. "you really want to leave us? leave us without our leader to protect us from danger. yugyeom was right, what a selfish asshole you are. just go, be on your damn way." jackson says, turning around and walking back. "don't come back, either." he says, as the maknaes follow him back.

mark runs after them, leaving jaebum with the lingering sting of jackson's words.
