5. POLTERGEIST TRAILER (pt. 1)

"Hey, guys." Tim smiles as he and Adam join the others at a table in a small diner.

"Good morning." Rob smiles.

"How was your flight, Rob?" Adam asks as the waitress hands out the menus.

"Smooth as a baby's bottom." Rob chuckles.

"Why didn't you call us? We would have picked you up at the airport." Tim says.

"Well, it was late and I knew you guys were probably trying to get some rest. So I just called a Uber." Rob answers.

"It has been a rough couple of days. Rob, you missed some great places." Austin says shaking his head. "But we understand. Hope Lydia is feeling better."

"Oh, she is. Much better or I wouldn't be here." Rob chuckles.

"So, Tim, judging by the look on your face, you're dying to tell us something." Chance smiles after the waitress walks away from taking their order.

"How do y'all feel about taking a trip to Tampa, Florida?" Tim asks.

"Florida? Warm weather? White sandy beaches? Palm trees?" Austin asks, excitement growing on his freckled face. "Count me in."

"Austin, I have a feeling that Tim ain't talking about going there for vacation." Chance laughs.

"Actually, no, I'm not. But that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy ourselves while we're there." Tim smiles.

"You got something lined up?" Rob asks.

"You guys know my friend Joe from Urban Ghost Urban Exploration, right?" Tim asks and everyone answers with a nod. "Well, he called yesterday and challenged us to check out this place in Tampa. It's a place they call Poltergeist Trailer. He's been there several times and says that the poltergeist activity is off the wall."

"Wait a minute. I think I've seen a few of his videos from that place. It was scary as hell." Austin says.

"It is. And for Joe to get freaked out in a place, it has to be bad." Tim says.

"Not only that but he told Tim that there are several places to check out in Florida. One being an abandoned restaurant where everything was left behind. They hear voices, things are moved around, lights swinging. Some really good stuff." Adam says.

"Sounds awesome." Rob says. "When do we leave?"

"As soon as we get checked out of our rooms if that's okay." Tim answers. "We got a long drive ahead of us."

~~ Skipping the driving ~~

Tim pulls into a hotel parking lot. They had taken turns driving stopping only for gas and something to eat.

"We can get us some rooms and get some rest. I'd like to check out the trailer's property during the daylight to see what we're dealing with. We just won't go into the trailer and we won't be recording." Tim says.

"Sounds good. I'm exhausted." Adam says with a yawn.

After a couple of hours of sleep, they are back in the van headed for the address that Joe had given them. The trailer was actually located just off the highway.

"Dang, this place looks sketchy." Rob says as they exit the van. "Good thing we came during the day."

"Y'all watch where you walk. There looks to be a swamp back here. Could be snakes or gators around." Tim says as they begin to explore the property.

There were two sheds on the property. One was older and full of junk. The other was newer and completely empty. Trash was scattered all over the yard and on the porch.

"This place definitely has a bad vibe to it." Tim says as he carefully steps inside the older shed.

"Careful, Tim." Rob says.

"I've got this strange feeling that we're being watched from inside the trailer." Adam says as he eyes the run down house.

"Could be a homeless person." Austin replies.

"Or not." Chance adds.

"Wasn't that door closed when we pulled up?" Rob asks, pointing to the door.

"Yep, I believe so." Tim nods as he looks at the door that was now open to welcome them in. "I'm hearing voices but I can't make out what they're saying. They seem to be all around us. When we come back tonight, I want us all to be on high alert. Cause this place ain't good. It's not good at all."

"If you don't mind, Tim, I'd prefer to be the lookout tonight." Rob chuckles nervously.

"You can stay in the van with the doors locked. If you see anything at all, you yell for me on the radio immediately." Tim says as they head back to the van.

As they are getting into the van, a loud crash comes from inside the trailer.

"I'm not looking forward to this at all." Tim says as they stand frozen, staring at the run-down trailer.

As they were packing up their equipment for the night's investigation, Adam noticed how quiet his lover was. They have been doing these investigations together for a long time and he has never seen Tim this nervous. He couldn't help but wonder if Tim had heard something that had spooked him and wasn't saying anything about it.

Tim was packing his bag with two cameras, plenty of batteries and water as Adam slides his arms around his waist from behind.

"Baby, are you alright?" Adam says softly as he kisses the brunette on the shoulder. "I've never seen you this nervous about an investigation before."

"I'm just not sure about what we're dealing with here, Adam." Tim says as he leans back in his lover's arms.

"You think it's demonic?" Adam asks.

"God, I hope not. I'm hoping it's just an angry spirit that just wants to be left alone. Whatever it is, it has a lot of strength to throw things around like that." Tim says with a sigh. "And then after what I heard, I just don't know."

"I knew it. I knew something had to unnerve you." Adam replies. "Just what did you hear?"

"It was the most horrifying deep-gutted growl that I've ever heard in my life." Tim answers quietly.

"Was it coming from the trailer? I mean, there is a swamp. It could have been a gator or something." Adam replies, trying his best to calm his boyfriend.

"I couldn't tell where it was coming from." Tim says shaking his head. "Well, the guys are probably waiting for us so we need to go."

"It's not too late to back out if you don't think we'll be safe." Adam says. "But we'll have each other's back. If it gets too dangerous, then we'll just get the hell out."

The drive back to the trailer was eerily quiet. Everyone was feeling nervous about this investigation. Adam watched Tim closely. His lover was very sensitive to things and that worried him. The brunette had his eyes closed and seemed to be meditating.

"Tim? We're here." Rob says, bringing Tim out of his meditation.

"Okay, let's get everything ready for the intro." Tim says as he slides the side door open of the van.

Tim takes a calming breath as he holds the camera up in front of them and presses the record button.

"What's up, everybody!"Tim smiles. "We're Home Free Paranormal and here we are again on another epic adventure. You might notice a familiar face back with us today. Our very own teddy bear, Rob. (Rob smiles and waves at the camera) His little girl is feeling much better so he was able to join us. Of course, we have Chance,  Austin, and my blue-eyed babe, Adam. My friend, Joe from the Urban Ghost Urban Exploration, challenged us to come to Florida and check out this place. So here we are at the Poltergeist Trailer. And let me tell you, I'm pretty nervous about this one. I ain't gonna lie."

"We came here today to check out the property. Even during the daylight, it was creepy as hell." Chance adds. "We weren't able to find out any information about this place."

"Tim was hearing voices all around us. And we heard a loud bang from inside the trailer as we were leaving." Adam says.

"Not to mention, when we first got here, the front door was closed. Later, we noticed that it was open and there was absolutely no wind." Rob says.

"This place is so sketchy. There's a swamp right over here behind these sheds so we have to watch out for gators and snakes as well." Austin adds to the intro.

"Rob will remain in the van watching the outside of the trailer while the four of us are inside. If he sees anything, whether it's a spirit or an actual person, he'll contact us on our radios." Tim says as he holds up his walkie-talkie. "If you viewers see or hear anything that we might miss, please, comment below. We go back and read all the comments."

"It's about two in the morning and there's still quite a bit of traffic on the highway nearby so please excuse the noise." Adam smiles after a loud motorcycle was heard driving by.

"You guys ready for this?" Tim chuckles as he glances over his shoulder at the others.

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess." Austin says with a nervous smile.

"I'm not sure how long this video will be. Our safety is my main concern. But we will stay as long as we possibly can." Tim says. "Let's do this."
