The evening sky looked so beautiful at this time. The warm colors of the sun blended perfectly with the cool colors of the sky. The tall skyscrapers of New York City provided dark silhouettes against the sunset. Truly beautiful, it looked like a masterpiece.

Trotting along the sidewalk, Max and Gidget admired the sky together. They were in sync, their pace matching each other's. Despite the fact they were lost in this huge city, the two lovebirds took this as an opportunity to spend some time with their significant other. In all honesty, this was one of their favorite dates ever.

"I'm loving every second of this," Max admitted aloud. Her head resting against his shoulder, Gidget smiled and replied, "Same. Every moment with you brings me happiness." Giggling, she added, "And who doesn't love a romantic walk?"

"Perhaps I should thank Snowball for this when we get home," Max remarked. Worry flashed over his face as he stuttered, "Well... if we... you know, get home."

"We'll get home, don't worry. Probably not first but we will get there," Gidget pointed out. At that very moment, Max's inner Rooster voice spoke up for the first time in hours, Look around. Does anything look familiar to you? Listening to the advice, the Jack Russell terrier looked around. This area did look familiar. Then it dawned on him. "Gidget!" Max yipped, "We're a few blocks away from the dog park! We're almost home!"

"That's great Maxie! Which direction do we go?" Gidget asked. Inner Rooster, meanwhile, piped up once more, Heads up city slicker, incoming doofus alert. Turn around. Obliging, Max turned around.
