(First chapter! Let's hope it doesn't suck!)

Y/N's POV:

Well, we finally made it to Mistral. It's about time! After our... meeting with Professor Lionheart and Qrow going off to the nearest bar, RNJR and I go to the house where we'll be staying. We all had our separate rooms, except for Ruby and Nora because they had to share.

It wasn't the biggest house so things were a little cramped with 6 teenagers, yes, I'm including Qrow, having to occupy this space. Team JNR was relaxing in the living room, Ruby was in her room reading comics, and I was in my room reading a book.

It was our time to unwind... until I heard Uncle Qrow come back. My room was at the end of the hallway close to the living room so I heard just about everything if it wasn't too quiet. One second, I'm immersed into the story, then the next, I hear Nora say "Why?" in an assertive tone before hearing a drunken Qrow stumble around saying "I found him!"

'Oh, Oum, please tell me he didn't bring some random stranger here...' I thought. "I think her uncle could use some help.." I heard a faint voice say. It sounded familiar... Finally, I decided to go out and see what was going on.

"Qrow, what the heck did you...?" I stopped in the middle of my sentence as I stared the person he brought with him. It...it couldn't be, I must be dreaming... "O-Oscar?" We both stared at each other in disbelief.. Before he had the chance to respond, Ruby came stomping out of her room.

"WHAT IS GOING ON OUT THERE?? Can't a girl read her comics in PEACE!" Ruby hollered before noticing her Drunkle Qrow on the couch. She rolled her eyes and lightly slapped her forehead. "Qrow? Did you get drunk again?" "Mmmmmaybe~~"

"Whoa... you have silver eyes.." Oscar finally remarked as Ruby glanced over at her teammates. "Who... are you?" "Well... my name is Oscar Pine.." "wait for it~" Qrow drunkenly slurs as Oscar starts talking. "But you may know me as... professor Ozpin..." Everyone was in shock, including me. But not for the same reason RNJR was. I kinda tuned out at the end there because I was so happy to see Oscar!

"I DID IT!" Qrow exclaims, slightly jumping out of his seat before falling over and slumping on the ground. I couldn't contain myself anymore as I rushed over to the farm boy to give him a giant hug!

"Oscar! It's been so long, how've you been?" I asked excitedly, trying my best not the squeeze the living daylights out of my friend. He, after the slight shock, hugged back and I feel my heartbeat going faster and my face getting a biT hotter.. 'Well, it's nice to know my feelings haven't changed..' I think to myself.

"Umm, I've been o-okay. What about you, Y/N?" I gave Oscar one final squeeze before letting go. As I was about to answer, RNJR set him down in a chair to 'observe him'. 'Oh, this should be interesting...'
