Two days later, Annika was working in her cabin all worried. Shivaay had been acting quite weirdly the past two days after the party. Went to office early, came home late. Didn't talk to anyone properly. All these had gotten her worried. Whenever she called him while in office, he always said that he was busy and couldn't talk.

On the other hand, Shivaay was working in his cabin without any break when his eyes caught a photo of the two of them, from their wedding.

S (thinking to himself): I have been ignoring her for the past two days because of my baseless insecurities arisen by that jerk. I didn't even realise I'm hurting her. I'm sorry, Anni. I'll fix it today.

Determined, he walked out of his office to go to her hospital and mend things with her.

Here, Annika was waiting for her last patient to show up when she heard a knock. She let the person in and was shocked to see who it was.

A: Vikram? You, here?

V: Hi, Annika. I told you I'd take an appointment. Remember?

Annika found something fishy with him and stood up.

A: Yes. Then where's Ragini? You won't be carrying the baby, obviously.

Vikram finally lost it and moved towards her, scaring her.

A: Wh..what are you doing?

Annika asked stepping back.

V: I can't take this anymore, Annika. I want you back. Hell, I need you back. I am ready to leave Ragini for you as well.

Vikram couldn't complete for Annika had finally slapped him making him stumped. He looked at her eyes, which were burning in fury now. Yet, he didn't budge.

He came forward and cupped her cheeks,

V: Slap me, or whatever, Annika. But, tell me the truth, Annika, don't you feel for me?

Annika was dumbfounded and looked at him confusingly and replied unaware of someone watching them from outside.

A: I do.

Hearing her, Shivaay couldn't control his tears and just ran away from the hospital.

A: I do, Vikram. Now that you said such bullshit about my husband, I do. I feel immense hatred for you. What do you know about him to judge him like that? You can never be even half of what he is. Never.

Annika spoke with fury. Vikram was teary eyed and chuckled painfully before speaking,

V: You've slept with him, didn't you? He's good. I know. Ask girls around, you'll know.

Annika gasped hearing him and slapped him again before shouting,

A: He is my husband. I can do whatever the fuck I want with him. You are no one to question that. And about his character, I know him better than you, Vikram. I know my Shivaay. So, never think I'll believe you.

Pushing him, Annika directly moved out of the room and left for home. She was scared that Vikram would attempt to be physical with her. She knows her Shivaay. She trusted him completely. And all she needed right now was him. But she knew going to his office right now, in this condition might cause a scene and hence decided to go home and wait for him.

She entered their room only to be shocked. He was there. She was seeing him properly after two whole days. But he looked different. He stared towards the pool with red eyes. Annika slowly walked to him and kept her hand on his shoulder.

She gasped when he turned. She had never seen him this way. He looked devastated.

S: Why did you lie to me?

Annika was confused hearing him.

A: When? About what?

S: You love him still now, don't you?

A: Who?

S: The one, whom you feel for. The one who came to meet you today.

A: Vikram?

S: Yes. Vikram. The same Vikram who had challenged me that you're still in love with him. The same, who snatched my deal just because you're my wife. Who challenged me that he'll win your love back and look, he won. He got you, Annika.

Shivaay spoke while his voice was breaking. His eyes were red and filled with tears. Annika was shocked listening to him and couldn't form words to speak.

S: Ek baar kaha hota, Annika. I would've let you go, happily. Why did you make me attached to you? Why?

Annika couldn't take it anymore and finally spoke,

A: You really think this about me?

S: I wouldn't if I didn't see with my own eyes. He was touching you like this and you confessed you felt for him.

He spoke cupping her cheeks just like Vikram did.

A: And you left after listening to that? You didn't stay to listen to what else I had to say?

Annika was now holding her own emotions back. The man whom she defended in front of that jerk is now questioning their bond because of that jerk?

S: What I heard was enough. I don't know about you but whatever I felt, I truly felt for you. And your happiness matters to me the most. I'll apply for divorce..

As soon as he spoke, Annika rewarded him with a slap which took him aback.

A: I feel so stupid. So, fucking stupid. There I was, defending you. Your character. And this is how you pay me back, Shivaay? You didn't even wait to listen to my side of the story. Fine, I won't even clear it out. If you can't trust me, you don't deserve to know the truth either, Shivaay.

S: Ann..

A: I've heard enough of your allegations, Mr. Oberoi. No more.

Saying this, Annika got her suitcase out and started packing while Shivaay looked on hurt and confused. He still didn't know where he went wrong. He heard her say she felt for him. And now after all this, after all he said, she won't even clear it out.

When she was done packing, Pinky entered the room. Hearing her, both composed themselves.

P: Oh my mata! Anni. Where are you going?

Annika managed to fake a smile and spoke,

A: Woh maa, I told you right, I had a seminar in Dehradun? It got preponed and that's why I have to leave tonight.

P: Ohh. Pehle kyun nahi bataya? Main helps kar deti. Shivaay, you didn't tell me too.

A: Maa, he just got to know about it too. Also, I was thinking, since I'm going after so long, can I stay with Mumma Papa for some days?

P: Yeh bhi koi puchhne ki baat hai? Asks your husband, he's the one that gets desperate for you.

Pinky chuckled while Annika looked at Shivaay without any emotions and spoke,

A: He'll be fine without me, Maa.

Composing herself, Annika further spoke,

A: Maa, I have booked the flight. It's in two hours. I'll leave now.

Pinky nodded moved downstairs in order to give the couple some time before Annika left. Annika set her luggage and moved towards the door. Before she left, she spoke without looking at him,

A: One more thing, Shivaay. There will be no divorce. Get that straight in your head.

Saying this Annika left the room. From his balcony, he saw her moving out of the house in her car, driven by Khanna, as instructed by Shivaay himself and wiped his tears. He still thought that Annika loves Vikram and she wants to be with him.
