Last Chapter

"Okay so you're sure you're going to be okay" Edward asks as he and the boys hug Louis close.

"I'll be fine, I'm all moved in to Harry and Scott's and you know they won't let me out of their sight for the foreseeable future" Louis jokes.

Edward smiles warmly at his baby brother.

"Be safe kid and don't stay away too long" Edward says with a smile as he hugs Louis goodbye.

"I will, I'll see you in court though right?" Louis asks, making sure Edward will be there standing next to him.

"Of course I will, two months and you'll have your first contract kid, I'm so proud of you" Edward tells him.

Louis blushes.

"I'll be up in three weeks for the sentencing court date for Jax, Dan and Rhys, even though it's no jail time, I think the outcome was pretty good considering" Drew tells Louis.

"Yeah, having to hand back their degrees, being fined, their contracts taken off them and not being able to come near me ever again. That's okay enough for me" Louis tells Drew.

Drew and Louis hug, Drew squeezing Louis just the little bit tighter.

"If you have a fever or are still sore or anything Lou, you call me or go see Casey okay, don't try to deal with it yourself" Andy tells Louis as he comes up behind him and Drew.

Louis and Drew break apart and Louis hugs Andy.

"I will, I promise" Louis tells his oldest brother.

The boys all smile and ruffle Louis hair, they kiss him on the cheek and say goodbye, before they are getting into their car to head back to the airport.

Louis walks back to the curb where Harry and Scott are waiting for him after saying their own goodbyes. They wrap their arms around Louis as they wave the boys off.

"I already miss them" Louis says as they watch the car turn around the corner "two weeks wasn't enough" Louis says.

"We know darling, we will just have to make sure we visit soon, you'll see Drew in a few weeks so that will be something to look forward too" Harry says.

The last two weeks has gone in a flash, Louis got to spend some much needed time with the boys while he was recovering and he, for the first time since their parents died, wasn't hiding his feelings or bottling anything up. He felt at ease and at peace and he actually can't wait to visit home again.

Harry and Scott lead Louis back up to the penthouse, they haven't left Louis side in two weeks and Louis is loving having them around so much. They are due back to work in the morning but Louis still has to stay home and take it easy for another week.

He's been busy with designing his business logo and setting everything up, Edward helping him a lot. He's excited yet nervous to start working on his own.

"Have you ever wanted to move back home? Have you ever thought about it?" Louis asks as the boys bring him in and onto the couch.

Harry and Scott look to each other and then back to Louis.

"We have actually, we think about it all the time" Scott says.

"Most of what we do can be done from Holmes Chapel, and if we need to visit a site or have a face to face meeting we normally travel anyway. We've always wanted to move back, we just haven't felt it was the right time, like we were waiting for something" Harry says smirking at Louis.

"What are your thoughts on that? Have you ever thought about moving home?" Scott asks cautiously.

Louis takes a deep breath.

"I....never wanted to leave, if I'm being honest. I just felt like I couldn't breathe and needed some space. I mean, I'm glad I did it, I wouldn't be where I am now but I'd like to move back, at some point, whenever the time is right" Louis says.

The boys smile at Louis and hug him close. Louis  for the first time in four years feels happy and like everything is falling into place for him.

EIGHT MONTHS LATER

"Louis, darling, I promise you, first class has zero bumps at all, it's the smoothest flight ever" Scott reassures Louis as they board their plane, heading home for the holidays.

"Even if we're flying into a snowstorm?" Louis asks as they find their seats and Harry and Scott help Louis get settled in, he's never been in first class before and he has no idea what to do.

They sit in their seats and Louis is of course on the middle of them both, In their private lounge area.

The boys are given a hot towel each and Louis looks at it in confusion.

"Ahh thanks" Louis tells the flight attendant who smiles and continues on.

Louis then starts cleaning down his seat with the towel, Harry and Scott let out a laugh.

"It's for your face sweetheart" Harry tells him and Louis blushes as he sees Harry and Scott wiping their face down.

"Why do I need to wipe my face" Louis asks shaking his head.

Harry takes Louis towel and he and Scott share a fond look, chuckling to themselves.

When they finally get into the air and Louis watches the flight attendants making sure they are all smiling, he relaxes.

"This is a bit different to last year isn't it" Scott says. As their first round of food is brought around.

Louis looks at it worriedly as Harry and Scott dig in.

"Better than eating gummy bears for lunch" Harry laughs.

"Speak for yourselves" Louis says as he grabs his backpack and grabs his packet of gummy bears out, causing Harry and Scott to smile fondly at their boy.

The last eight months with Louis have been amazing, more than Harry and Scott could ever have asked for. It feels like they have been together forever, Louis just fits so perfectly into their life and their relationship. They adore him and Louis couldn't have asked for better partners than Harry and Scott. They are so attentive and help him through his feelings and his problems, they are always there to lend him an ear and a hand and Louis couldn't love them more.

His business has taken off and he's now quite known in the industry and definitely a designer to look out for. The tenders he has won have been nothing short of amazing and Harry and Scott are so proud of Louis. They are so happy for him and to see him smiling, laughing and living, is something that they will cherish forever.

They have talked more about moving back to Holmes Chapel and keeping their place in London and going back and forth three months at a time. They love the idea but just haven't gotten around to making it happen.

Louis misses the boys like crazy and is talking to them via phone and text more and more. The boys are so thankful, it's like the Louis they knew has come back into their lives again, the mischievous, smiling, joyful kid who they've missed so much.

When the boys land they end up getting the connecting flight, Louis agreeing it makes more sense and trying to get over his flying fear, he feels like he can accomplish anything with Harry and Scott by his side.

By the time they are getting into their cab in Holmes Chapel,  it's just gone 5pm and Louis is tired from travelling.

"I've missed this place" Louis says as he looks out the window at the snow covered town, Christmas lights up everywhere, people milling about Christmas shopping. Something inside him settles and he never thought he would feel that again here, he's thankful.

"Us too, it's so beautiful" Scott says.

When the cab misses the turn to head to Louis brothers Louis looks at Harry and Scott questioningly.

"Are we going to your mum's first?" He asks Harry.

This year they are doing a massive Christmas with all of Louis brothers, Harry's family and Scott's. There will be about 45 people and everyone is really looking forward to it.

"Actually we have something to show you first" Harry says.

Louis doesn't understand but he doesn't have to wait long before they are pulling up to a gorgeous house that sits on a beautiful lake, it's close to the road but not to close you can hear the traffic, the house is nestled between the snow covered mountains and Louis gasps at how beautiful the place is.

It's covered in Christmas lights and glowing.

"Wow who lives here, it's beautiful" Louis says as they get out of the car.

Their driver grabs their things out of the car and puts them by the door as Scott and Harry thank him and take Louis inside.

Louis is confused but assumes they are staying here for the holidays.

When they walk in, Louis instantly smells cinnamon cookies and pecan pie and the house is fully furnished and beautiful .

"Oh my god, it smells amazing in here" Louis announces as they walk into the kitchen.

"Are we staying here Instead of the boys?" Louis asks. Harry and Scott don't answer as they follow Louis inside the house, just smiling to each other.

Louis gets to the lounge room where there is a huge window that overlooks the lake, there's a fifteen foot Christmas tree in the corner near the fireplace. Along the fireplace are three stockings each have a single letter on them. H, S, L the fire is on and it's so cosy and warm.

What catches Louis attention though, is the rose petals scattered on the floor and the candles that lead to the fireplace. Set up in front of the fire is a blanket and pillows, just like the first night they spent together.

"Wha?" Louis turns around to face Harry and Scott. He sees them smiling back at him, coats, gloves and beanies off, just them in their regular jeans and sweaters, how Louis loves them.

"Lou, Harry and I have been planning this for a months, with the help of the boys and our parents we've managed to pull it off" Scott chuckles.

"The house got finished literally four days ago and everyone has been working around the clock to have it ready for us" Harry tells him.

"You mean this is our house?" Louis asks completely taken aback.

"For when we live in Holmes chapel for six months of the year, yes" Harry says brightly.

"Oh my god" is all Louis can say.

"We also have a question to ask you" Scott says and it's then that he and Harry both get down on one knee, tears in their eyes.

"Oh shit" Louis says as he realises what's happening, he can't stop his tears.

"Louis, from the moment we met you we've felt like everything was fate when it came to you" Scott says.

"We are meant to be together forever and the universe has made sure of it. We love you endlessly and we would be honoured if you would spend the rest of your life with us, as our husband" Harry says.

He and Scott then bring a box out of Scott's pocket and open it together. Inside is a gorgeous, gold wedding band with tiny navy blue diamonds imbedded. It's gorgeous.

"I......I can't even speak, I love you so much, yes, of course yes" Louis says.

Harry and Scott smile so wide and they stand up to put the ring on Louis finger.

"It's beautiful"Louis tells them both.

"We have the same ones too" Scott says as he brings two more boxes out. They take turns putting on each others rings and when they kiss happily. They hear a round of applause and cheering.

Through the sliding doors that lead to another room, comes Louis brothers, and Harry and Scott's parents. There's balloons and streamers and Champaign is popped and everyone hugs them with tears in their eyes chanting their congratulations. The moment is beautiful and amazing and Louis is so happy. He does wish the two people he misses the most were here to see the moment though.

The night is spent celebrating and showing Louis the house. Scott and Harry have kept it a secret for nearly seven months, having it fixed up to surprise Louis.

After dinner while everyone is still talking and sharing stories. Harry and Scott come over to Louis.

"Hey baby, can you grab your coat?" Harry asks with a kiss to Louis head.

Louis does and Scott and Harry bundle him up over protectively and get their coats on too.

They walk Louis out of the house and down past the driveway.

"Where are we going" Louis asks.

"You'll see" Harry tells him smiling.

It's dark but there are Christmas lights and the moon lighting their way. They cross the road and come to a small path. A few minutes later, they are coming into the clearing of the grave yard, right in front of Louis parents head stones.

Louis stops in his tracks.

"We thought you'd want to share this with them" Scott says lovingly, he cuddles Louis from behind and kisses the side of his head.

"We will leave you to sit with them for a while" Harry tells him with a kiss.

They don't want to pressure Louis into talking with his parents or making him upset, So they won't intrude on his visit.

"Wait" Louis says and he grabs Harry and Scott's hands before they can leave.

He walks over to the gravestones and sighs.

"Hi mum, hi dad, I'd like you to meet my fiancée's this is Harry and Scott," Louis says and he smiles at them both.

Harry and Scott couldn't be prouder of Louis and they are so honoured that he's introduced them to two of the most special people in his life.

They stand hand in hand, side by side as Louis talks for the first time out loud to his parents and they all cherish the moment together forever.

THE END.
