Hello! Welcome to my second short story on Wattpad, Home. I've always kind of wanted to write something like this, and I so enjoyed writing In the Nest that I wanted to start another "simple plot/complex meaning" short story. This one follows a young adult sibling duo trying to find their way in the world and build a life for themselves. I am somewhat opposed to stereotypical coming-of-age stories with basic characters and not a lot of plot, so no need to expect that around here. Home might remind you a lot stylistically of In The Nest, if you've read it, but at the same time, this book has a personality of its own. The writing style is also gonna be a bit more straightforward than the poetic language of ITN, and I hope you folks enjoy the change of direction.

There are three main characters in this story: Sam McKay, his sister Alex, and a '65 Chevy C10. Indeed, you read correctly. No, the C10 isn't alive. We'll leave that to Herbie.

Home is mostly going to be a tale of family, brotherly (and sisterly) love, and new roads. I hope you are all as excited as I am!
