It was six A.M when Katelyn's alarm went off. She slightly sat up to grab her phone to turn off the alarm. Then she got out of bed just in time for some one to knock on her door. Before she even had the chance to say anything she heard her sister yell
"Sis mom said it's time to get up so you're not late to class!"
"I'm already awake!"
Katelyn yelled back as she walked to her closet. She grabbed a tee shirt and a pair of jean shorts. Then walked to the bathroom to change. After she got dressed she quickly threw her hair up into a messy ponytail and ran down the stairs.
"Well that was fast."
Her mom said as she handed Katelyn her truck keys and a breakfast bar.
"And remember I won't be home till after four, so remind Natalie to do her homework."
Her mom continued as she walked out the door to her red truck. Fifteen minutes later she arrived at her town community college campus. She got out of the truck and grabbed her backpack from the back seat. Then walked into the building. As she walked into the commons she grabbed her phone and saw she had a text from her boyfriend. She read it and smiled knowing that her he was in class and wouldn't see her reply for another two hours. As she walked to her favorite spot on campus her friend Taylor spotted her.
"Hey Lynn!"
She yelled as she ran over. Katelyn rolled her eyes as she said
"You know I hate that nick name."
Taylor giggled as she said
"I know, that's why I use it."
Katelyn sighed in annoyance as they sat down on a bench.
"So when does your class start?"
Taylor asked as she grabbed her phone from her jean shorts pocket.
"Not for another half an hour, mom forgot how fast I drive and told me I was gonna be late."
Katelyn responded, then the girls sat and played on their phones and Katelyn also ate her breakfast bar.
About half an hour later Katelyn looked up and said
"Hey Taylor, I'm going to head to class. I'll talk to you later."
Katelyn stood up and grabbed her backpack and started walking.
"Ok, see you later"
Taylor said without looking up from her phone. Katelyn giggled as she continued walking to her math class.

After her two hour long math class got out Katelyn saw she had a text from her boyfriend telling her to meet him at their favorite spot. Katelyn smiled as she quickly walked to the main doors. As she walked out the door she smiled as she saw Luke working on his homework. She quietly walked up behind him and quickly grabbed his shoulder. Luke quickly turned around and relaxed and kissed her. Then said
"Hey babe, I was wondering where you were."
Katelyn smiled
" I was in class silly."
She said as she sat down next to him.
"So summer break starts in two weeks"
She said as she grabbed her study guide for her math final. Luke rolled his eyes knowing what she was going to ask.
"And I was thinking that if we could talk our parents into it we could..."
Katelyn started but was interrupted when Luke said
"Katelyn stop we can't!"
Then he grabbed his backpack and started to head inside.
"Are you kidding me!"
Katelyn said as she ran after him.
