The Hellish Father Part Three: The Truth and The Awakening

The King of Hell barges in, pushing open the double doors to my throne room walking on the red carpet briskly, but with intent, not anger. He seems to be here for a purpose. A very important purpose, as he walks down the black halls apon the red carpet.

"We need to talk," he explains.

"Is there an issue?" I inquire, at a loss for his reasoning for such conviction in his voice.

"Nameless was your spy," he demands, "right?"

"Yeah," I reply, "what's the issue?"

"The World of The Scraped," he sighs, "my son is there. Can you please help him?"

I know he's coming back anyways with Namless sooooo...

"I have one condition," I smirk.

"Anything," he replies.

"You let me call in a favor," I get a devious grin.

"Anytime," he shakes my hand, "anything."

"Excellent," I smile, "I'll call you when he arrives."

"Thank you. Have a good day."

"As to you."

The King of Hell leaves. I smile. Even if it's a one time call...

I just gained a very powerful ally...

I open my eyes once more. Come on! Get up dammit! You've wasted to much time here! Get up!

I put every ounce of strength I have into my arms as I slowly, painfully lift myself upright, my arms feel like they're on fire, but then I set my legs on the ground...

Aaaaaggggghhhh! Everything is pain!

I hear footsteps rush down the hall as I let out a cry, and the Magic Scientist rushes into the room.

"Dude!" He exclaims, "the Hell are you doing?"

"I can finally walk," I smile, "I'm leaving."

"Man you know that's a bad idea," he sighs, "I mean, do you really think this is what your friends want? What your brother wants? What your parents want? What M.S. wants?"

"You know it must be done," I glare, "your brother is corrupt. He framed me. He's why I'm in here."

"What?"

"All true. Look, you know he's shady. I know he's shady. Just let me know if he's plotting against me. OK?"

"I'll..." he looks away and sighs, "OK."

"Welcome to the Author Slayers," I smirk, "farewell."

I melt into darkness and leave. I pass by M.S. on my way out. For a moment, I try to reach out to her. I want to make amends. I want things to go back to how they were before it all went south...

...

But it can't be that way as long as he's writing.

I go to continue my training, leaving behind once more the ones I care about...

I dash into the facility.

"How's Reaper?" I ask.

"He's..." The Magic Scientist sighs, "he's gone."

"What?" I ask.

"He left," the Magic Scientist sighs, "I'm sorry."

Damn. He's gone. There's no way he's gonna talk to me now.

"Oh well," I sigh, "at least... he's better now, right?"

"Yeah," the Magic Scientist sighs, "physically anyways. Maybe in the next special."

"Yeah," I sigh, "maybe then..."

"See you at Haloween then."

"Probably. Farewell."

I leave. It makes sense. After all Halloween is when that contest is held. I just hope it's not to late by then, as I feel the chapter end...
