A Very Canon Christmas Part Six: When There Was Peace

I arrive at the festival. Snow falls from the blank sky. It reminds me of the day I first asked Armored out.

It was Christmas time, late December, the day before Christmas Eve. It was snowing heavily outside, but it was warm in the coffee shop I was in. It was the seventh year of the era of peace, and I had just begun to believe that the story was over. I began to wonder what to do next?

That's when she came in, with a warm smile, and her long brown hair and sky-blue eyes, I had always had a thing for her, but had been to busy with the story, deciding to keep working towards a happy ending before saying anything. I thought I had my happy ending, but I was wrong. If only I had known, I could have prepared, I could have saved her, could have saved everyone.

I walked up to her and asked if she wanted to join me for coffee on me. She smiled her warm smile and replied, "of course."

After talking for a while, she finally said, "I'm not sure if you feel the same, but I've always wanted to ask you out. Just never had the chance."

It was then I knew, it was meant to be, or so I thought, but Hatred took that all away. I won't let her get hurt again. I won't let anyone get hurt again. I will protect this world from those on the other side, no matter what.

However, today is a day of celebration, of peace. Guess I'll celebrate it, one last time before I go all in on my training...

I see Reaper just as he sees me. We wave to eachother. I force a smile, but I can't help to notice that he looks more sickly than before. He's going to get caught in a death loop if he's not stopped. However, before he's killed and captured, I want to give him one last good day. I want to spend just one more day with the Reaper I once knew...
