Your POV

*you were walking around Hoshido visiting from Nohr Curious as to what to do you have some connection to the nobles but at the moment of time it's easier for you to dress up in a Santa outfit for little kids and have the parents listen so they have an Idea of what to get there kids while also trying to be a peace negotiator for Nhor since its the holidays it's easier to blend in to the crowd but help out at the same time with what you can not wanting people to suffer as you have not caring who recognizes you but forgetting about the time until it’s dark and you notice almost no one around so you start to walk to the inn your staying at after changing to your normal clothes walking back not the biggest fighter but you can hold your own in a fight slightly at least but not enough to survive an actual fight as you keep walking and you feel as if your being followed so you start moving a little bit faster in thought* who would be following me? It might be anti Nhors but what would it accomplish? No I shouldn’t assume the worst just because of where I’m at it would just be issues when talking to the peacekeeper what was there name again….. Kaumi? I believe so but that’s all I know you “hmm I wonder what there like to be the peacekeeper they have to be somewhat intimidating to do so hmmm….” *you hear a swish then feel a searing pain in your shoulder causing you to grab it and back away looking behind you confused and you see a few people glaring daggers at you and your confused backing up and your hit by another arrow* you “AHHHH!!!” *your shot in the legs stopping you from running and to fall to the ground as someone with a bronze sword walks to you slowly and you just have tears running silently down your face as a single thought crosses your mind* why? *you close your eyes going to accept it having no clue what you did wrong for walking to the inn while your eyes are  closed you hear a loud clang and it seems to be metal hitting metal a stronger one against a weaker one as a younger woman’s voice sounds through the street* Woman “What are you doing to this man.”

Attackers “getting rid of some scum of the planet what are you doing protecting Nohrian scum!”

Woman “keeping the peace between our two kingdoms as the peacekeeper.” *you slowly open your eyes looking up at the girl as she quickly and effectively knocks them all out without fail as you begin blacking out from loss of blood but not before you get out a few words* you “t-thank you K-K-Kaumi…” *then nothing but the welcoming unforgiving darkness that has yet to forgive any light at night time*

Kaumi’s POV

*The man passed out he needs immediate medical treatment* is Sakura awake still? I hope so and these people need to be brought to Ryoma for a crime against the kingdom they could have started another war that would have been our fault this time not that I could have blamed them it would have been a completely pointless war that does no good for any side no matter what the outcome would have been unneeded deaths and weather I like it or not I would have been blamed for killing an innocent man no less based off of his reaction being in complete fear even though he did nothing wrong to them and the fact he was pretending to be santa to help as much as he could and yet was attacked for no reason…. Kaumi “why do people choose to kill the innocent for no reason? What wrong have they done? They were born they lived and then for some unforgivable reason there attacked but why is it that the people who’ve been born, lived been kind to some why are they the ones who are attacked and in most cases killed? Is it race? Nationality? Or just because there and weaker than the other ones? Why is it that this world seems better off not being here? No don’t think that way if i think that way then I’ll be no better than them.” *I pick him up him feeling lighter than he should for an adult which is worrying considering i felt closer to magic than anything else so I rush him to the castle worried about him greatly now*

You “I’m telling you Kaumi I dress as santa every year for the little ones no matter what to make them smile if I could

Kaumi “But that’s ridiculous to still want to do that if it’s so dangerous to do so how often have people tried attacking you for staying out so late?”

You “Oh just a few times”

Kaumi “That being how many?”

You “including two months ago about fifty time but it was worth it to make the children's faces light up and help the parents some plus some of the wishes are incredibly sweet”

Kaumi “Name three sweet ones then.”

You “a little girls was for her mom to be able to smile again sense her dad’s passing, a young boy was for his dad to be able to rest from work for a few days, and a pair of twins all they wanted was to be able to support their parents and not burden them with the desire of gifts.” *I saw her grab her chest seeming to be touched by those words* Kaumi “okay fair enough you win in that situation hmmm how about this then next time how about I be your little helper?”

You “you don’t need to Kaumi i don’t want to burden you with more work.”

Kaumi “your thoroughly dense aren’t you?”

You “what do you mean?”

Kaumi “Oh my can we please help each other out you help me see and feel love and I help you feel safe”

You “as santa’s little helper?”

Kaumi “not just santa’s but also as a girl being with a boy.”

You “oh…. Ohhhhhhhh.” *you turn a bright red as you nod agreeing to the help as she smiles and kisses your cheek smiling*
