YOONGI'S HOUSE

"I'll clean it." Jungkook groaned as he held his hand against his aching head. "It's too dangerous."
"I think I've got it tough guy." The girl raised her brows, as her hand was now in front of his.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "You clearly don't know what you're doing since you tried to clean broken glass with your bare hands." He made his point.
She grabbed the broom beside her, holding out to his face as she smiled. "I came prepared."
"Thanks for the broom, now hand it over." He used an aggressive tone, extending his palm.
"Why are you treating me like your kid." She lowered her brows. "I don't even know you."
Jungkook's lips slowly parted as he titled his head to the right. Did he just really hear her correctly?
"You must not be from here then." Jungkook assumed while he bit the inside of his cheek.
"What, you mean from Golden Valley high?" She asked him.
"You go to my school?" Jungkook's eyes widened.
"Today was my first day." She tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I'm Faye, and you are?" The confident girl raised her brow.
"Jungkook." He slowly muttered, before standing up with a pile of glass in a napkin. He walked near the kitchen trashcan, dumping the glass into the bin.
"So—
Jungkook held his chest as Faye spoke, not realizing she followed him there.
"Since you know about the school so much, then maybe you can show me around." She rested her elbows onto the counter. "I got lost like ten times today." She cutely giggled, but Jungkook wasn't nearly as amused.
"Listen, I'm sure someone else can do that for you since there are people actually assigned for that."
"Someone's moody." The blonde playfully rolled her eyes as she followed him into the living room.
"Is this a hobby of yours?" Jungkook sighed. "I'm not interested in making any friends tonight. So please leave me alone." He lowered his head while walking away.
Faye rubbed her arm as she walked back into the kitchen, sitting all alone like she did just before Jungkook and her met. Moving to a new school, during your senior year, is a pain in the ass. No person wants to approach the new girl. She sat against the couch, laying her head on a pillow.
This is gonna be a long year.
GOLDEN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
"Please take your seat." The man looked around the classroom with lowered brows. "Call me Mr. Emit."
A rude snicker was heard from the back of the class room, making everyone's head turn. "What." Jimin hissed as he stared at those who looked back.
"I'll be your English teacher this year." He wrote his name on the chalkboard. "There's rules to staying in my classroom." Mr Emit muttered as he paced back and forth. "No eating, no talking, no sleeping, no—
"breathing?" Jimin raised a brow, smiling as he got the cheerleader next to him to giggle.
This was one of the only classes Jimin had without Jungkook, so that meant nobody was there to stop him from making rude comments or possibly get suspended again.
Jimin pulled the girls chair closer to him, giving a satisfied grin as he placed his arm around her. "I think you and I deserve a little more than just an hour and thirty minutes." He glanced at the clock.
"Aren't you and Jess a thing?" The girl raised her brow.
"Uh, no." Jimin scratched his head. "Who's that?"
"The girl that was rubbing her ass on you last night." She crossed her arms.
"Samantha, baby." Jimin cooed as he pulled her hair behind her ear.
"My name's Lexi." She narrowed her eyes.
Jimin let out a suppressed laugh, turning his face as he did so. "That's what I meant to say, Lexa."
"Lexi." She elongated the word, grabbing her bag when the bell rang. "Have fun with Samantha."
"Wait!" Jimin stumbled over the desk as he tried to reach for her shirt. "Are we still having sex?"
Detention room
"You again?"
"Me again." Jimin sighed as he handed the woman his detention slip.
"What'd you do this time?" She crossed her arms.
"I sexually harassed a girl in my class." Jimin quietly mumbled. "Well that's what the note says, but I don't think I did shit."
"Language."
"Sorry." Jimin scoffed as he sat in an empty seat.

"We'll be completing our first lab today, so if you have your goggles with you please take them out."
Jungkook searched through his bag, letting a quiet sigh escape his lips, forgetting to bring his goggles.
"Here."
His eyes immediately turned to the familiar blonde haired girl from yesterday night's party. "It's fine."
"Just take it." She insisted. "I had an extra pair at home, and accidentally brought it with me."
"Thanks." Jungkook quietly muttered.
"Alright, I want you to follow the instructions in the lab book." The teacher directed them. "Once you've finished, you and your partner will turn in one lab worksheet."
Jungkook sighed as he heard the word partners.
"You have until class ends." The older lady smiled before walking back to her desk.
Jungkook quickly stood out of his seat, trying to avoid being partners with the girl that sat beside him. Most of the students paired up, finding lab stations to work at. A couple girls rushed over to Jungkook, noticing he didn't have a partner yet.
"Hey Jungkook." A girl smiled. "You wanna be my partner?"
"You were supposed to be my partner." Her friend crossed her arms.
"I changed my mind." The first girl gave a forced smile as she looked back at Jungkook.
He wanted to roll his eyes, but didn't want to seem rude. Instead he glanced over his shoulder, looking back at the girl he met. She sat alone, working at a lab station without a partner. "Sorry, I'm already partners with someone."
The girl's expression changes as Jungkook walked right past her, and stood near Faye. He placed his goggles over his head, and pulled out his lab book.
Faye lowered her brows as she slowly looked next to her. "Did you need help on one of the problems?"
"Me?" Jungkook chuckled as he pointed to his own chest, realizing she didn't know that he was one of the smartest kids in school, after Kim Namjoon.
"No, I don't need any help." He looked over at her, and tried to smile. "I just thought we could be partners."
"I thought you didn't w—
"I changed my mind." Jungkook tried to be nice, knowing that it was the right thing to do. He did enjoy working alone, but he knew others didn't.
"So, mister hockey player." Faye raised her brows as she sat on the lab counter.
"Uh, I don't think you should sit there." He looked around the room. "And how do you know I'm a hockey player?"
"Hm." She pretended to think. "Maybe from the shirt you're wearing, that says Golden Valley hockey."
"You got me on that one." Jungkook softly chuckled.
"I sure did." She giggled, before hopping off of the counter. "Listen, I was thinking if you're not busy, we could maybe see a movie tonight."
"I've got—" He ran his fingers through his hair. "uh, work tonight."
"Oh." Faye gave him a weak smiled as she turned back to her lab station.
A wave of guilt hit Jungkook as he looked at the sad girl. "But—I could reschedule my shift for another day."
The corner of her lips curved into a soft smile as she blushed. "I'm glad you said that."
Jungkook smiled before, looking down at his phone as it vibrated.

Jungkook rolled his eyes as he placed his phone into his pocket as the bell rang. "Why am I friends with this idiot."
"Oh wait, Jungkook." Faye lightly tapped his shoulder. "Forgetting something?"
"Oh shit." He hit his head. "My number, I'm sorry."
"It's okay." She smiled as he typed his number onto her phone. "I'll pretend like you didn't do that on purpose."
Jungkook opened his mouth to speak but she was already gone. "Why am I such an asshole?" He groaned, before picking up his bag.
