Giving Up

I stared at the wall taking another sip from my bottle.

My headphones were on and I closed my eyes listening to my own voice.

Asriel did a good job with the music, it was a song I'd sung a long time ago. But now the words sunk into my bones and I felt a bit helpless. After a few minutes I growled ripping the headphones off and throwing them at the wall with the recorder still connected to them.

They hit the floor with a clack and I sighed before swallowing another gulp.
We weren't a couple or anything, I was just obsessing over a stupid blind chick. I didn't even know her name. I had to stop talking to her, cold turkey if you will. She didn't want me around anyways, she wouldn't miss my company.

I sighed softly looking at the bottle in my fingers. I finished it off before dropping it on the ground. Maybe one more time. I'd just say good bye, I'd let her know I'd leave her alone. She'd probably only be annoyed at me but right now I didn't care. I had to get her out of my head after this, if I didn't I might just go crazy.

My eye fizzed when I tried to get to her place. I ended up on the street a few blocks away. I looked over at her house and squinted trying to focus. My mind was a bit fuzzy, but I was able to get into her kitchen. I stumbled a bit before looking around.

Weird, she was usually home by now wasn't she? I frowned, if she'd gone over to her 'friend's' again I'd be pissed.

I leaned back against her counter and stared at the door hard. It was late enough but I didn't care, I was going to wait until she got home and then tell her goodbye. I needed to, I just needed this.
