"We are going out to dinner with my parents."

I block him before he tries to talk to me again. I look at the time 3:00 pm I woke up late because me and my brother were watching movies and talking throughout the whole morning.

We went to sleep at 2:45 am.

I walked out and I lock the door and I made my way back to my pack house. I seen mateo standing outside the pack house door.

"Queen Zara I had to tell the alpha king this is the second time you done this."

I nod my head he is just trying to do his job so I understand he had to tell the alpha king before he gets accuse of not being able to do his job correctly.

I went upstairs to my room and I look at my clothes I decide on a dress red dress and under the dress I put a white shirt on.I also put on boots.

And lastly a jacket to match the outfit I put it on. I tied my hair into a ponytail and I wake to his office. I open the door to see the alpha king and his parents.

"You look beautiful." Said his mom and I nod my head. I felt eyes on me and from the corner of my eyes I seen my mate staring at me.

"Thank you for coming with us queen Zara this is a tradition that we usually do on the 14th of December only."

Said his dad as he pull his mate close to him." Let go." Said my mate and I made the first move to walk away.

"Mom and dad you go ahead I need to tell my mate something."

They nod their head." Don't take to long." Said his dad with a small laugh. He closed the door and I turn around to look at the alpha king.

"Your scent is slowly fading away from your room your guard told me you haven't been sleeping in the pack house are you trying to get yourself killed?"

He said and I raise a eyebrow." How will I get myself killed in your pack Alpha king."

I spat out." Rogues, anyone can slip inside this territory and kill you or any pack members can turn their back on this pack and take you away."

I giggle at him." I will manage Alpha king."

I made an attempt to open the door but he holds my hand letting sparks make there way up my arm and spread throughout my body." My parents don't know."

He clear his throat as he open the door I pull my arm away." You think I'm going to pretend we are the perfect couple? Your wrong alpha king. Why would I help you? Have you done anything to help me."

I walk away from him and I quickly went downstairs I seen their car. And I got in the door and he get in as well.

I look at his hands they are clenched he is angry and he is trying to keep himself calm.

We made it to the restaurant it is a Italian restaurant run by lycans as well. When we walked inside everyone bow down to us a sign of respect some workers are shaking not out of fear but of shyness.

I sat down next to my mate and we looked at the menu trying to decide what to order. I order the first thing which is lasagna.

When everyone was done ordering the food his dad spoke." So Zara tell us about yourself?"

They look at me and waited for me to respond." My life is boring I don't have anything to say." He laughs." Of course you do Zara no need to be shy how about your family?"

I stay quiet and he continues." Siblings? Favorite food? Favorite color?"

"My favorite color is red and favorite food I am not sure." He gave me a small smile.

"Here are your foods." Said the waiter and we dig in to our foods." I'm not rushing anything but when are you going to mate? What are you waiting for?"

"We are busy with our duties."

He stand up and leaves the restaurant with his mate running to catch up to him." Nice meal." I said to the alpha king.

He stand up and also left me alone. I can feel the other lycan staring at me and wondering what happen."nothing to see here." I said and I took a bite out of my food.
