63. Wind
I feel victorious when I've completed the task and imagine their bodies being pushed around by the water. It's to my surprise that they stand unscarred where I last saw them. But this time they don't need the others to carry them. Wanda has used her powers to float each person in the water, I can assume that she's given them a way to breath as well. It's like they're in their own sphere of non-water while I'm swimming with ease outside of it. Wanda has recovered since the last time I fought with her and it's extremely irritating. I flick my wrist and the water erases. It takes Wanda a second to adjust her powers to float the others, I see the strength drain from her face. They return to being carried while I float on my own.
"Ok so Isabelle can fly too?" Clint says in disbelief, "You learn something new everyday."
"I have the power of Ice, Water and Wind. I'm flying through my wind powers." I explain monotoned, "Would you like an example of what else I can do with my wind powers?"
"Someone's getting cocky! Cold Shoulder is learning from me!" Tony calls then pretends to shed a tear, "I'm so proud."
"I am just exploring my contained powers." I look at them lifelessly, "This is for sport."
"How do we undo the control of her." Sam asks.
"When Loki had mind controlled her I hit her hard in the head." Steve reminds with a serious glare.
"This will be much different. Hydra isn't magic." Wanda explains.
"I say we give her a concussion and see the results first." Clint cracks his knuckles.
"This isn't some villain we've faced before. We have to be rational." Steve argues.
"We must undo the control and then face Amara. That's the goal. Isabelle is just a pawn in this vengeance." Vision tells elegantly.
"Gotta get through me." I glare. Instead of whirl pooling water I swirl air at a fast rate. A wind storm could do them good. Even the Iron man suit struggles. They have to readapt to the new surroundings but they won't be quick enough for me. I fly toward Nat and kick her out of Rhodeys grasp.
"Natasha!" He yells as she falls slightly and gets pushed around by the air. I grasp his helmet and rip it with my new found strength. The times I would practically toss a boxing bag across the floor made all the more sense now. When Rhodeys helmet was off I simply slammed my fist to his face knocking him out.
"Ok now this has gone too far." Tony snaps, "Shortie, you need a time out."
Steve argues as he struggles against the loud wind, "Tony wait!" But Tony adjusts to the storm and darts toward me.
I only can express a glare on my numb features as I send more icicles his way, but his anger melts them with ease, "Seen it."
"Kill them now!" Amara grasps my mind harsher and red blinds me. With this vulnerability Tony blasts my chest and the wind fades.
Tony grabs me as everything becomes peaceful again. The sun rises in the distance but the red still smears. Tony slyly tosses me up and the slams his iron fist against my forehead when I am in good distance. Like I'm a baseball. I am sent flying toward the ground as if I were a meteor.
