Shawn:

I stared into Annabeths eyes, and I noticed for the first time a sign of guilt in her eyes. Her eyes didn't look any different then before, but I now realize shes carrying something that burdens her. This is the moment isn't it? To tell her how I feel, maybe realive that look in her eyes.

"Annabeth I-"

*knock knock*

The tension and suspence inbetween us broke when Annabeth pulled her hand away and looked to th door. She looked back at me and got up, leaving for the door. Leaning back into the couch, I watched Anna open the door to show Dante.

"Hey guys!"

"Dante! Perfect timing!" Annabeth cheered, dragging him in and shutting the door behind him

"Dude, you look terrible!" Dante said sarcasticly, a look of disgust on his face

I tried to smile but it just caused him to laugh.

"He looks like a chipmunk doesn't he?" Annaeth teased, sitting back down on the couch

"Yes, yes he does."

Annabeth:

I stuck my tounge out as the snow drizzeled down on to us. Aaliyah and I were outside the hotel, and I felt so at home. We were just about to leave when it began to snow outside one of the most expensive hotels in London. I would hae stayed at my home and visit my family but uh... That would be a problem.

Aaliyah has to stay by my side, and I wasn't about to bring her to palace. That... I... I wasn't ready to go back either. I thought I was over it but im not. Everywhere I turned I had to hold my breath as so I wouldn't cry from memorys. They showered on me, and imagine what would happen if I went back home. Im not ready, and my phyciatrist agrees.

"Come on Anna, we got to go!" Aaliyah giggled, grabbing my hand and bringing me to the limo awaiting us.

We jumped in and eagerly looked out the windows, our hearts beating fast. This was it, the moment we had been waiting for! After months of training and two weeks of prepreperation we were now going to the Winter Olympics!

Once we reached our location we jumped out and ran for the back entrance, avoiding paparatzi and covering our faces's. I was immediately greeted by my old team, they were as loud as I remember! My old teacher embraced me in a hug, and so did the whole team.

"Guys this Aaliyah, my young aprentace" I stated, bringing Aaliyah close

"Hello Aaliyah, welcome to London" they all said at once, waiving at her

We were lead to a changing room where we changed into matching leatardes. Our hair was being done and finished just as the games were beginning. Aaliyah and I anxiously ran to the side lines where we watched the opening.

"Now last year we had a young, talented girl go into the pre Olympics before being pulled out. She is here today with another young a talented girl who she had been mentoring! Please welcome, the represantives of London AND Canada, Annabeth Martello and Aaliyah Mendes!" the announcer announced as Aaliyah and I jogged out from the sides and to the corners of the huge matt

I continued to run before going into a hand stamd as Aaliyah did a back flip, landing in a split as I did a bidge over her. I kicked my legs up back into a handstand as she came back up and went to a corner of the matt. I followed her motions and went to another corner still in a handstand before coming down.

Aaliyah sucked in a breath before doing a one handed cart wheel and 8 backflips ending in a back handspring. I followed along but instead silk strands came down from the ceiling so once I finished a back hand spring I gripped ahold of them and let it carry me up until I was suspended in the air.

I wrapped my feet around the strands and my hands before twirling around in it, Aaliyah following my example. We came around, flipping and twirling in thw wires, the crowd cheering as we swung around and dropped down, our arms raised in the air as we stuck the landing.

We were both breathing heavily, our cheeks flushed red and Aaliyah was sweating heavily. We walked off as the crowd continued to clap loudly. I was immediately tossed a water bottle and I chugged it down, needing to keep hydrated. I asked for an ice pack to cool me down faster, I couldn't risk collapsing today.

"How do you think we did?" Aaliyah asked, wiping the sweat from her forhead

"I think we did great" I stated patting her back

Shawn:

My mouth gaped open when I heard Annabeth and Aaliyahs names, and remaind that way to the end of there performance.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK!" I finnaly yelled, bringing my hands to the side of my head

Everybody around me looked at me except for my arents who just laughed.

"Annabeth lied to me! She said she was going to visit family!" Georgia huffed

"I didn't even know they were leaving" Dante complained

"I didn't even know Aaliyah left" I hissed

"And we knew all" The adults laughed causing us to grow very upset

My sister and my best friend.. Well I hope she was my bestfriend, were invited to the Winter Olympics AND NO ONE KNEW! I grabbed my phone and dialed Aaliyahs cellphone

"Hello?"

"Aaliyah what the –"

"Boy, lecture me later, there Annabeth just dissapered on me and the Queen is leaving the facility. There also about to give us a medal for the performance and I nned to find her so just sit tight" she said before the line went dead

I stared at my phone and huffed, ugh I can never talk on the hpone without someone hanging up on me

Annabeth:

"Annabeth my boo!" Grandmother cooed, her arms open wide for a hug

I wrapped my arms around my short grandmother, I was several inchs taller then her.

"Annie we have to talk" she said wearily, sitting down with me

"What is it Grandme" I asked, not letting go of her hand

I missed my grandmother, I really did. But when she looks exactly like mother its hard not to feel an aching heart.

"I want you to come back home" she said in a low voice, her pearcing eyes looking right into me

My heart skipped a beat and I drew in a breath.

"I -... I don't know, I don't think im ready to come back Mama" I stated, looking down at my bare legs

"Im planning to retire soon –" she started, my head snapping up at her with wide eyes

'"You cant do that to me Grammy!" I suddenly shouted, my face turning red with anger

"I have another life now! A new one away from all of this stress. Im only seventeen and you want to put on that type of burden on me?" I snapped, standing up from my chair, running my fingers through my hair

"Annabeth, sit down and be civilized. Its time you take up a responsibility" she said calm and collectedly

I slumped down in my chair and stared her in the eye

" I have enough stress on my shoulders,I don't think my mental or emotional health can take what your tying to drop on me. Today I leave to Canada, don't even try to convince me to stay" I stated, standing up and leaving my Grandmother

I thought coming back home would be a happy time, but I guess not. As I walked away I spotted Max. Its only been several weeks... I walked the opposite way and found Aaliyah. We aceepted our medals and I told her how we were going to leave in a rush.

She didn't seem to understand but I didn't expect her to. As we got into the car someone called out my name. I turned around and Max embraced me in a hug.

"Happy Early Christmas Anna"

Okay FWI its like a week into December rn.. Also, we don't have cable and ive never really sat down to check but uh... Ive never really seen an Olympics so I just put together what I knew about gymnastics. Cause I used to do it before I myself was pulled out.
