Annabeth:

"What would I do without your smart mouth. Drawing me in, and you kicking me out. Got my head spinning, no kidding, I cant pin you down" I sang as I played the piano

I was all alone in the music room of Georgia's house. No ones was home currently because they had to go to the store or something but they've been gone for more than an hour.

"What's going on in that beautiful mind? I'm on your magical mystery ride. And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright" I continued, moving my hands along the keys to the rhythm of the song

"My heads under water but I'm breathing fire. Your crazy and I'm out of my mind" I continued, feeling along with the music

"Cause all of me, Loves all of you. Love your curves and all your edges, All you perfect imperfections."

I began to get lost in myself, the music of the piano, my voice as it sang along. I was so entranced with it I didn't realize the door opened.

"The world is beating you down. I'm around through every mood."

"Your my downfall, your my muse" someone sang which caught me off guard

Startled I jumped in my seat and opened my eyes to see Shawn leaning against the piano, a huge smile plastered on his face.

"Shawn! How many times have I told you? Don't scare me like that!" I asked crossing my arms and trying to give him the meanest look possible

"Well you never let me see you sing or anything anymore" he whined, sticking his bottom lip out and pouting

"Because I don't want to" I battled back, still trying to keep a straight face

"Well I think your voice is beautiful" he said softly, a grin n his face

I let a small smile grow and I felt my cheeks flush red. I hid my face by looking down at my lap, he was always so sweet.

"I also know several people who agree" he said coolly

I looked up at him with a strange look. No one has ever heard me sing so who was he talking about. A look of excitement and anxiousness grew on his faced as he made a bolt for the door of the room.

"We got a surprise for you" he said, a smile bigger then I had ever seen before on his face

I furrowed my brows as he opened the door.

"Alright guys come on in!" he called out

My eyes widened and my heart practically stopped as Travis entered the room.

"OH MY GOD!" I cried, tears forming in my eyes as I swore I would never see him again

I shot up and ran into Travis's open arms, tears forming in his own eyes. He hugged me tight, lifting me off the ground, which hurt my body a lot but I didn't care. I opened my eyes and saw Meghan enter the room, tears already rolling down her cheeks. Travis let me go and I of him before I ran into Meghan's arms. I felt an extra pair of arms wrap around me as Travis joined our  group hug.

"I thought I would never see you guys I again" I said in between sniffles

"Why would you think that? We would kill to be by your side" Meghan said as we broke our hug, a smile on her face.

"What about Max?" I asked in hope, wiping my tears on my shirt

As if on cue, my heart leaped out of my chest as Max entered the room, her signature hoodie covering her face.

"MAX!" I screamed, running at her with full speed

Her hoodie flipped off as she opened her arms, tears streaming down her face as our body's collided into a hug.

"Annabeth" she whispered squeezing me tighter

"Holy –" I heard Shawn begin

I turned around to face him, a smile stuck on my face.

"Max this is Shawn Mendes, Shawn this is Max Martello" I introduced

"Max is my faternal twin sister" I said, wrapping my around her neck

Shawn:

"Y-your twin sister?" I questioned intently

I felt so dumb. I was jealous of Max for being so close to Annabeth when it was because they were TWINS FOR GODS SAKE! Max stared t me intently before blinking.

"Shawn Mendes.... Holy crap" she said, her British accent heavier than Annabeth's

I gave a nervous chuckle and waved.

"Yeah I'm Shawn" I said so low it could be a whisper

"Annabeth, Shawn called us and told us about the show" Travis said suddenly facing Annabeth with a full on look of urgency

Annabeth's face turned red and she gave me an odd glance, I guess she's kinda embarrassed.

"Yeah -" she began

"Did you sign us up?" Meghan asked

"Uhm no, I didn't know you guys were coming remember?" She said with sigh

"Well go sign us up right now, and hurry back weve got to practice!" Max said with a laugh

Annabeth giggled and ran out of the room. I had seriously never seen her this happy ever! Once she left it left me, Travis, Meghan and Max alone with me.

"Can we have your autograph?" They all beckoned at once, closer then I had last seen them

"Woah all right! One by one!"

Annabeth:

"Alright guys, just one more try!" I called out on the rehearsal stage stepping back from the mic

After Shawn brought my band back together weve been practicing for the show. For me its not about the money, sadly I have plenty of that... Its more about the joy of being on stage, I like feeling it. But the question that has been ringing in my head is... How did Shawn find out about the band? Unless he just happened to see our band on YouTube out of the blue, someone had to have told him.

The door to the theater opened and closed and I looked to see Shawn, Dante, Gloria, and Sam walk in. I'm actually pretty surprised on Sam being around Shawn. We went out again and Shawn didn't take a good liking to it but oh well. Sam seems to get protective over me as well, which I never really understood why. I guess these boys from Canada are very very protective.. Which kinda annoys me.

"Oh hey mates!" Max called out after drinking her water

"Hey!" they all said back in union

"We'll rehearse one more time before tonight!" I called out one more time before jogging off the side of the stage

"Hey Annie" Max called out

I turned around and she tossed me a water bottle and a small bottle of pills

"If I weren't hear you'd probably forget to drink your medicine" she said with an eye roll

I stuck my tounge out at her and she just smiled. It was good to have my twin at my side. I missed her, I missed home. I missed all my friends. But I was forced to leave... Because of me, our lives went down hill...

*FlashBack*

"Are you sure its uncuriable?" Dad asked nervously, biting at his finger nails

"We are very sorry, but at the moment we don't have a treatment for Annabeth's P.O.D." The doctor said calmly, a disappointed look on her face

Of course, 6 year old me didn't know what was going on at the time. I didn't understand how badly it would affect my family.

"And with her Anemia, she needs to be watched carefully" The doctor continued, looking down at her clip board

I tugged at Mums dress and she bent down and picked me up, Max being back at home wasn't here to fight over who Mum was going to carry first. Dad looked over at me and sighed, shaking his head at me.

"You my dear, are going to be the death of us" he said with a sigh, staring me in the eyes before looking away to talk with the doctor.

What I didn't know was that Dad was right. I was going to be the death of them. And that's why I left... Because, they...were... Dead.

*Flashback ends*

"See you guys later at the performance!" Gloria called out, snapping me out of my thoughts

I suddenly felt a pleasure release off my hands and I realized my fist were balled in a fist, my hands regaining there color from the pleasure. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and I turned to face them. Max gave me a worried look before using a tissue in her hand to wipe my nose. I looked at her confusingly before she showed me the tissue. My nose was bleeding.

"All right guys one more time!" I called out, ignoring Max when she gave me the "I'm concerned lets talk" look.

She knew what I was thinking about... She knew I thought it was my fault. And no matter what the physiatrist says, no matter what Max, Grandmother, or Georgia tell me. I will always know that the reason Aiden is not running around the house naked, why I'm not with Max back in London listening and fangirling together to Shawn, why Mom isn't knitting with grandmother in the grand room, and why Dad isn't down in the garage polishing his cars was all because of one reason and one reason only.

I was born.
