Karen's POV (asleep)

"Kaz,"

"Kaz, wake up."

I felt someone shaking me to wake up, I opened my eyes, adjusting to the bright light on me room, I came face to face with Matt.

"What?" I said with my deep morning voice as he scooted aside for me to sit down the bed. he smiled.

"Look at the calendar," he motioned his head on the wall, I gasped. It's my birthday, and I didn't even knew. "Why didn't you told me yesterday?" I glared at Matt as he held his hands up in surrender, "Can't tell you," he replied, I hugged him, I hugged him so tight I heard his bones crack. In a flash, all of my friends came in with presents, "Happy birthday Karen!" they yelled, my jaw dropped on the floor. I looked at Matt, he laughed at my reaction. "Blimey, you didn't even let me eat breakfast," I exclaimed, causing the entire room to burst in laughter.

I'm really happy for Matt and Karen, Mission Smillan Accomplished! Well... I should have thought about that weeks ago, but eh. Life is a bitch.
