Chapter Forty-Eight- Do We Have A Wedding? WE DOOOOOOOOOO

Harry had to physically refrain himself from laughing as Felix scattered rose petals along the aisle.

When they had told their friends they were getting married, Felix's first words had been "I'm gonna be the flower girl!"

Ron had fallen on the floor laughing at those words, but here they were now.

As he scanned the people in front of him, he couldn't help but smile as memories flooded his mind.

Blaise and Neville, two of his groomsmen, walked arm in arm toward them.

"Potter is an honorary Slytherin. We're loyal to our own," Blaise said coldly, defending Harry from Diane.
Blaise gestured at the table. "What do you want? We'll get it for you."
Blaise then turned to Malfoy. "Dray, truth or dare?"
Blaise's grin was wicked. "Kiss Harry."
"Um... you're friends with Neville. Is he... single?" Blaise was shifting his feet, blushing slightly.
"Are we okay? Are we still dating?" Blaise's voice was so shaky and nervous that Harry's heart melted.
Blaise put a hand on his shoulder. "Harry, do you feel okay?"

Neville was the first to speak. "Draco-May I call you Draco? Draco, it's a pleasure to have you at our table. I trust you'll be civil."
"You like him don't you? As more than a friend. I can see it, the way you are with him."
"I see you two kissed and made up," Neville said casually, smiling.
Neville wrapped an arm around Ron's shoulders. "Hey, want me to get you to Gryffindor Tower?"
"Oh, love, of course." Neville wrapped Blaise in a hug.

Pansy and Tabitha, two of his bridesmaids, followed behind them, also arm in arm.

"Well, since you're conjoined to our dear Draco, you're an honorary Slytherin for the next ten weeks. Slytherins are all about loyalty."
Pansy frowned, unsatisfied with Harry's answer, but seemed to notice how tense Harry was and shut her mouth.
"Di, chill!" Pansy said, defending Harry and Draco.
"If by anyone, you mean my collection of high-tech sex toys, then yes."
Pansy smile and opened the door. "Welcome to our getaway, Harry Potter."
"Hey, hey, hey, it's okay, it's alright," Pansy said softly. "Are you two okay?"
"If you need anything, I'm here."

Tabitha was... something else. She was loud and energetic and sarcastic, and within two minutes, her and Felix were arguing over which one of them would beat the other in a fight, which resulted in them actually fighting.
"Di!" Tabitha shouted. "Cool it! Take it back!"
Tabitha raised an eyebrow, and started ticking Felix until he was left gasping for air.
This time, Tabitha's eyes were on him. She, for once, wasn't giving him suggestive looks at the mere presence of Harry, but was instead smiling softly at the two of them.
"Hey Pans," Tabitha said softly. "How ya feeling?"
"Love you too, Felix," she replied quietly, hugging him back.

Seamus and Dean followed behind the girls.

Dean's eyes brightened. "I didn't even consider it could be a combination. Thanks Draco!"
"Dean," was Seamus' immediate response. Dean blushed, but said nothing.
Dean smiled brightly. "That's what I'm best at." He moved backwards, tracing circles on Seamus' thigh and whispering something in his ear.
Seamus giggled. "So Nev, what were you doing when you didn't come back last night?"
"Who tops?" Seamus asked, grinning.
Dean hugged him back. "Does this mean we're still together?" he asked.
"Yesyesyes," Semus murmured.
Dean rested his head on Seamus' shoulder gently. "I'm glad we got back together. I missed you."

Luna and Lucinda walked behind everyone as his last pair of bridesmaids.

"Yay!" Luna cried before downing hers.
"Oh my," Luna giggled. "That's quite pleasant."
Luna grinned. "Tell us something in Parseltongue. I find it interesting."
Neville breathed out heavily, falling back against Luna, who hugged him.
Lucinda appeared to be having a full-fledged panic attack, and Luna was trying to calm her down.

She was thin, and didn't talk much. Her brother was outspoken enough for the both of them.
"Di," Lucinda whispered. "We don't use that word. Ever."
"She's a sweetheart," Harry said simply. Lucinda no longer bothered to hide her smile.
"Oh god," Lucinda whispered, wrapping  Pansy in a hug.
"Please stop yelling," Lucinda muttered. Her hands were shaking and her leg was bouncing.

His eyes scanned the crowd, a small smile crossing his lips at the sight of Hermione and Damon sitting next to each other, holding hands.

They had woken up in hospital beds right next to each other. Hermione hadn't even known his name.
The last thing either of them remembered was being on the train to Hogwarts eighth year, and then they were blank.
They had gone to therapy together, slowly gaining their memories back. They relied on each other as their rock, and slowly recovered.
Both of them still got bad headaches, but everything was better when they were together.
The first time Damon had kissed her, Hermione had frozen in shock for a whole thirty seconds. Damon had panicked, thinking he had triggered some leftover shit from the curse, and almost took her to the hospital.
Hermione snapped out of it after about thirty seconds, and finally kissed him back.

Felix almost skipped down the aisle, scattering petals happily.

Felix mimicked throwing a punch and then collapsed into giggles again.
"No way!" Felix argued. "I wouldn't tap a monkey. Or you. Though I guess it's the same thing."
"Okay, okay!" he laughed. "I give up, I surrender!"
"I call blue!" Felix shouted, jumping on the blue beanbag.
"So," he said, wiggling his eyebrows. "Are you two, like, a thing?"
"But why won't you date me?" Felix teased. "Am I not hot enough for you?"
"I'm trying to be helpful!" Felix cried. "But I just want Draco back!"
Felix stood up, wrapping Tabitha in a tight hug. "I love you, T."
Felix just smiled. "I'm not," he whispered before pulling Ron close and kissing him again.

His best man, Ron, stood next to him smiling.

After a moment's hesitation, his smile turned to Malfoy. "Hey Malfoy."
"That's good to hear," Ron said. "It'd be a nightmare if you two were arguing all the time."
Ron blinked. "May I ask why five Slytherins just sat down at our table?"
"Actually, Ron's my best friend."
Ron stood quickly, smiling and hugging Harry.
"It's alright," Ron soothed. "We'll have to refrain from insults and threats to certain people for now."
"How are you feeling?" Ron asked carefully.
Ron climbed out of his own beanbag and hugged Felix tightly.
Ron cut him off with a kiss, before immediately pulling away.

Harry decided his wedding was perfect. He had everyone he wanted there. He looked at the beautiful blonde in front of him, smiling.

Harry saw it a split second before Malfoy. Their cauldron was going to explode.
"There is no way I can tolerate being around him that long!" Malfoy shouted.
"And now we're agreeing!" Malfoy shrieked, clutching his face.
"Potter, how are we supposed to shower?"
He was confused because why would he think of pulling Malfoy's hair and why was he so alarmed and how was he going to get rid of this erection?
"That's... really good, Potter."
"Are you gay, Potter?"
Neither one noticed the shocked stares they got as Malfoy continued to help Harry put food on his plate.
"What? Wasn't your childhood perfect?"
"Harry." Malfoy gave him a look. "You're not the only one with a tough childhood. I understand. I'm not gonna tell anyone."
"If you... ever need to like... talk about it, I guess I'm here."
"Holy shit, Potter. That's amazing."
"Come on! We have an hour to get ready!"
Malfoy thought about it for a minute, before his face split into a genuine smile. "Yeah, I think I am."
"You keep referring to everything as 'ours' and 'us' and you stand up for me. It feels like we're starting to become one person."
"Draco. In my opinion, the hottest person in the room is Draco."
"And-and if one of us wants to take it... further than that?"
"If Pansy's okay with it, all of you can come. Except Granger."
"I was the most sexual thing you've ever done?"
"Harry, are we in Paris?"
"Diane, I'm going to give you three seconds to back the fuck up, and if you don't, I'm going to turn you into an ant and step on you."
"You can throw left-handed, can't you?"
"What's the point of having a gorgeous blonde with a working mouth and hands-well, hand-  at your disposal if you're never going to use him?"
"Oh God, did I pressure you? Did you feel obligated to?"
"Draco and I got in a fight. We brought up family, it got personal, and we're both pretty pissed."
"All is forgiven!" Draco shouted, kissing Harry quickly. "I'm sorry too." Another kiss. "That was literally the worst week of my life."
"Draco's fucking hand on my fucking thigh is going to be the fucking death of me if he doesn't fucking move it."
Harry thought he might be falling in love with the blonde.
Harry was already pretty sure he was in love with Draco, and the fact that the blonde was curled up in a blanket and making a tissue paper rose wasn't helping.
Harry smiled and kissed him again, and they spent the rest of the night lost in each other.
"Merry Christmas, Harry."
"You love me?"
"Harry James Potter, you're going to be the death of me," Draco laughed softly.
"I like being your knight in shining armor for once. Besides, you haven't even seen the beginning of what I plan to do to these people."
"Well, too bad. I'm here, I'm queer, and I'm going to make your life a living hell," Draco said cheerfully.
"I heard you. But you didn't speak it. You thought it."
"Harry. I want to break up."
Something was seriously wrong here.
"Harry, you're under a spell."
"Draco's in trouble. I think he was attacked."
"Draco is usually around to help, he's the only one of us strong enought to deal with our shit."
"Promise?"
"Harry, I love you."
"Maybe it was never Heaven at all. Maybe this is Hell and this is how we are tortured."
"Thank fucking god. I love you so much."

The last year of his life flew through his head in an instant as he stared at the boy in front of him.

"I do."
