"Hey Hoseok? Where are you lost?" Taehyung asked his best friend as he sat near Hoseok's seat in their working place.

"Huh? When did you come Tae?" Hoseok asked back coming back to reality.

"I have been calling you but you were lost in your thoughts. Are you alright? Everything is fine right?" Taehyung asked patting his best friend's shoulder.

"I have something to tell you Tae." Hoseok said releasing a sigh. When he saw his best friend being all ears for him he decided to reveal everything.

"Two days back Y/n confessed to me that she loves me." Hoseok said to a shocked Taehyung.

"Alright and what did you say?" Taehyung asked softly.

"I said I am sorry because I cannot reciprocate her feelings towards me." Hoseok said looking towards his best friend who nodded his head.

"If you don't have any feelings for her then it's better to reject than to give her hope which would eventually give her pain." Taehyung said patting his best friend's shoulder softly.

"I know but I feel bad for her. The look of heartbreak in her eyes is not unknown to me because I have also gone through the same pain. You know she is very nice and pure soul and she really made me enjoy my life even if it was for few days when we went to Greece. I wish I could give her the deserved happiness but I am still stuck in my past." Hoseok said with a look of dejection.

"I know Hoseok that you are trying to move on from your past and I think it's better for you to move on but I also know that moving on is not as easy as people assume it to be. I might not have gone through the situation you are in but I understand you and I am there for you." Taehyung said side hugging his best friend.

"Thank you Tae. I feel good after sharing with you." Hoseok said with a small smile.

"Hoseok can I suggest you something?" Taehyung asked. When Hoseok nodded his head in approval he said.

"Talk to Y/n once. Tell her your reason of rejecting her. I think it's her right to know that why you rejected her. If you cannot reciprocate her feeling then don't give her false hope but atleast let her know what you feel about everything that happened. If you want to close the chapter with her then atleast give a proper closure." Taehyung said as the other male listened to him very carefully.

"You are right Tae. I will try to talk to her once." Hoseok said looking towards his best friend who gave him an encouraging smile.

"Miss Park Y/n this is your check-in ticket. Hope you have safe flight." One of the ground staff in the airport said with a smile on his face.

"Thank you." Y/n said with a small smile. She went towards the boarding gate and waited for the gate to open.

"Oppa I will call you as soon as I reach Seoul. And take care of yourself and everyone." Y/n said through the phone to Jimin who was on the other hand of the call.

"Go safely Y/n and we will soon go there for the wedding." Jimin said softly.

"Yes oppa. I am going to switch off my phone for now. I will call you or unnie once I reach Seoul." Saying that Y/n and Jimin both cut the call. The female released a sigh looking outside of the small window as the thoughts of Hoseok kept invading her mind.

"It's better to divert my mind from you and fortunately my cousin sister is getting married soon so I would hopefully divert my mind from you." Y/n thought in her mind as she closed her eyes to have a nap while the flight took off.

"Hello? Jimin hyung I am sorry if I am disturbing you." Hoseok said. He was kind of nervous as it was the first time that he was talking to the older male after Y/n's proposal.

"Oh hey Hoseok! No you are not disturbing at all." Jimin said.

"Hyung I am sorry." Hoseok apologised.

"Why? What happened that you are apologising to me?" Jimin asked genuinely.

"I am sure you know about Y/n and me. I am sorry hyung that I had to reject her. Because of me you had to see your sister cry." Hoseok said sounding sad.

"How did you know that my sister was crying?" Jimin asked to which Hoseok immedietly answered.

"Because I could read her eyes while she was confessing to me. I could see how much care and affection she had for me and how much she was trying to control her tears when I said I cannot reciprocate her feelings." Hoseok said making Jimin smile softly.

"You don't have to feel sorry Hoseok. It's not your fault that you don't have any such feelings for her and I am actually glad that you did not gave her false hope otherwise it would have broken her way too much. So don't feel guilty about not having reciprocate her feelings." Jimin said making Hoseok almost tear up.

"Thank you hyung. I actually wanted to talk to Y/n once. I wanted to clear up few things to her and wanted to tell her what is stopping me from believing in love once again." Hoseok said.

"Hoseok, Y/n is heading to Seoul right now. She is in her flight so you won't be able to contact her right now. Actually we have one of our cousin sister's wedding so Y/n is heading there before a month to help out with the wedding preparation while we will be heading ten days before the wedding." Jimin said making Hoseok release a soft hum.

"Okay. Thank you hyung. I guess I have to wait till she returns." Hoseok said with his voice sounding as that of disappointment.
