Chapter 21

It looks like a scene from a movie. Too hard to believe it's real. I feel like I am in wonderland. The sky was bright, the whole nature was covered in a blanket of white snow. It felt magical. I felt like running towards those clouds of snow and make a snow angel. What will it feel like finding your soulmate in this winter and making snow angels together? I can only imagine.

A light hit on my back with a book was enough to pull me back to reality, but nope, she had to prick me with a fricking pencil. I turned angrily towards Hannah. She gave me a smug smile and raised an eyebrow at the teacher's direction.

Yup, I was in class, the best place that could bring out my imaginations to a whole another level. Mr. Kim was eyeing me in between to wake me up from my dream. I gave him a subtle embarassed smile and returned my eyes to the book which was long forgotten for the past hour.

Another twenty minutes the class was done and I started packing super fast so I could get to the cafeteria and have something that could enlighten my tummy. Also Jimin might be there, we didn't see him yet. He couldn't get to the first class which we three had together.

"Did he text where he might be?" Han asked me as we walked to the door.

"Cafeteria of course." I chuckled.

"Miss John, I need to discuss about the draft you send me last day....the project's. Can you stay back?" Mr. Kim stood by his desk waiting for my reply.

"Yes, sir." I nodded and turned to Han, "Bud you go, I will catch up with you later." Although hesitantly she left me with him.

After the whole class cleared I went to his desk as he closed the door.

"Hey, what is it? As far as I know I didn't even start my project." I dragged one chair to the teacher's desk and sat on it crossing my arms.

"I was bored. You know my friend, Jace, he took a leave today." He said in a pout.

"Yahh, you want me just coz you are bored. I'm offended."

He flashed a cheery smile and then began, "That reminds me, you didn't start the project?" He raised a brow looking so serious.

"I will, I will. Just got caught up with other assignments." I bit my lip trying to sound convincing as possible. He hummed a response.

"Did you bring anything to eat? My stomach is cursing me." I asked him rubbing my impatiently hungry tummy.

"Wait I will do something about that." He chuckled and came near me and reached out his hands to my hands on my stomach. What is he doing? I tensed up as I felt his breath fanning the side of my cheeks.

"How about this dummy?" He pulled out his bag from the drawer behind me. Oh this was that. I thought of something else. I tucked my hair behind my ear to avoid his eye for the stupid thought that came across my mind.

"Here you go." He handed me a pack of cheezies and spread out some Mack toffee on the table.

"Woah, you carry that all the time. Do you have water." He is really something.

"I have something better. We might have to share it though. I have only one." He pointed at the drink he had on the table.

"Iced vanilla latte. Although it might not be iced anymore. I brought this to drink during class but didn't."

"You are the best Kim Seokjin." I cheered him.

We started digging in on our chips and also opened our laptops to show we were working. The opened screen blocked our faces making it easier.

"My turn." He snatched the drink from my grip and sipped on the straw giving me a smirk.

"Now mine." I seized it back and sipped on it avoiding his glare. My phone buzzed and the eagle grabbed the drink from me again.

"Baby." I teased him.

"I'm your baby?" He smirked and I choked on my non existent drink.

I looked at my phone to avoid him. It was Han who texted me asking where I was. I texted her I will be right back. But I didn't want to leave yet, so I thought of staying here a little more.

"Toffee." I reached out my hands to him.

"You are an animal when it comes to food." He croaked hiding the chocolate.

"I take it as a compliment. Now give me." I batted my eyelashes. Oh my, his ears started turning red. Woah I didn't think I could do that. I'm impressed to have such an effect.

"Here you go, just so you're a good girl." He beamed extending it to me.

"Kamsahamnida." I replied confidently.

"Did you just say that in Korean?" I nodded. "I'm proud of my girl..I mean you." He patted my head proudly with his red ears on display.

"I have to leave now. Han's been texting me." I packed my laptop before popping one piece of toffee in my mouth.

"See you at home." He waved as I walked out the door waving back.

-

"What took you so long?" Han and Jimin were on the cafeteria waiting for me.

"I sent him a draft of the project and had some doubts regarding. He was clearing it." Lies and lies. I hated lying to them. Just hold on for a few more days, Eliza. I reminded myself. They both nodded.

"Where were you, Chim?" I asked him, who was chugging the hot chocolate.

"I slept in. Why are you not eating anything?" He asked me seeing the untouched potato wedges and nuggets on the table.

"Ahh me. I'm not hungry." I shrugged.

"You? Not hungry?" Han croaked eyeing me suspiciously.

"I know right. I don't feel like eating anything." I chuckled sheepishly. Seeing their narrowed eyes I took some nuggets and munched on it.

I didn't eat much before, just some chips but I don't feel like eating now. I felt like my stomach is content and full even when I wasn't. Am I making any sense?
