Water dripped from my soaked dress, creating a puddle at my feet. I hugged my arms around myself, shivering slightly from the cool ocean breeze that seeped right through my drenched clothes.

"Would you happen to have any towels?" asked Sebastian who was just as soaked.

Mario thoughtfully scratched his chin before replying, "There should be some in the cabin." With that he went down the narrow ladder leading to a small room below deck.

"The sun is setting," I observed, rubbing my chilled upper arms.

"Are you cold?" asked Sebastian.

"I wouldn't be if I wasn't all wet because of a certain somebody," I glared at him through squinted eyes.

"It's not my fault you're so clumsy that you fell into the water," he clicked his tongue disapprovingly.

"Fell?" I scoffed in disbelief, receiving a bemused glance from the man, as if picking at me was his greatest enjoyment in life, yet that didn't stop me from continuing, "You literally dragged me in, you-"

But my rant was cut short by Mario, coming up the stairs carrying a grey bundle in his arms. "I was only able to find one," he admitted.

"That's just fine, thank you, Mario," Sebastian took the towel from him and deliberately wrapped it around my shoulders; it hung around me like a grey cape.

The demon playfully hooked his arms around mines and guided me towards the back of the yacht. It wasn't in my strength to resist him.

"What are you doing," I asked through nervous laughter.

"Sit," he commanded, making me come down on a small bench at the rear of the sailboat.

"Watch it," warned the skipper, motioning at the set of railings to my right which still glistened with a fresh coat of paint, "unless you prefer patterned clothes."

"I do not," I confessed, scooting further away from it, but I didn't get far as my body was met by an obstacle - Sebastian - who took a seat beside me.

I gasped when my hand suddenly met with his, and I realized just how unnaturally warm it was. I dreaded admitting how nice he felt against my cold skin; all I wanted at that moment was for him to hold me.

Momentarily looking up, I met his soft yet piercing gaze.

Hold me.

He must have read it in my eyes.

Strong yet incredibly tender, his arms enfolded around my body and clasped me against his chest. Suddenly I was surrounded with serenity and gentle warmth, gladness filling me up from the inside.

Taking a deep breath in, I slowly let it out through my mouth, with it letting go of all my doubts and worries.

Nowhere did I feel as safe as I did in Sebastian's arms.

I melted into him. My hands slithered around his lean middle, pulling him further against me until nothing but simple fabric separated our skin. We sat there in silence, lost in each others embraces.

Sebastian sighed, deeply and contentedly.

"Look," he murmured from somewhere above me.

I slowly rose my head and gasped in awe at the sight unveiling before my eyes.

The sun kissed the distant horizon, painting the rare clouds and the sea with vivid shades of red and orange, making it seem like tongues of fire rose from within the waters and danced accross the evening sky. With every passing second the sun slithered lower and lower beyond the horizon with a promise to return just as bright in the morning.

Out of nowhere, two dark, long shapes broke the glowing surface and leaped gracefully through the air before disappearing again beneath the vast of liquid flames. The dolphins hopped playfully accross the still sea like a couple of carefree children.

I sprung up in my seat and watched as with one final elegant leap, they went under for the last time, returning peacefulness to the waters.

"Did you see that?!" I exclaimed, squeezing Sebastian's hand in excitement.

When he didn't answer, I turned to find the demon already thoughtfully studying me with his eyes.

My heart skipped a beat.

The sun painted the yacht and everything on it with gold which made the immortal man's irises shine brighter than ever before and gave the glow a soft orange hue. Thoughts of all kinds seemed to be racing behind his eyes from the way his irises jolted between my own orbs.

Without a warning, Sebastian hooked an arm around my waist and assertively hauled me against him. My face was suddenly less then a breath away from his.

"Y/N."

The fervid way my name slid off his soft looking lips made little flutters spread through my lower abdomen. His voice was rich and smooth like raw honey, caressing me with every heartfelt word as he looked deep into my eyes and uttered, "I love you."

I caught my breath, but before I could move, or speak, or even think, Sebastian's lips crushed against mines. Soft like rose petals, they were perfect in every way and better than anything I've ever imagined.

The man deliberately tried at my mouth with his, as if anticipating the taste and the feeling.

My heart pounded in my chest like a racing stallion.

Was he aware this was my first kiss?

Either he knew, either he was a total control freak, as he completely took over me; he didn't give me a moment to think, or a second to breathe.

Hankeringly finding my bottom lip with his tongue, Sebastian caught it between his teeth and gently grazed his fangs along the sensitive skin.

I gasped.

A strong hand pulled on my hair, guiding my head to tilt for his better access. Hunger decipherable in his every touch and movement, he deepend the kiss. The demon slipped his tongue between my teeth and passionately studied my mouth through ardent suctions and decisive caresses.

A deep, satisfactory growl resonated withing his chest.

I felt lightheaded from the sudden lack of oxygen and made the fact know by attempting to pull away, yet it took Sebastian a good few seconds to finally let go of me. A little string of saliva remained between our mouths for a moment; there was something so dirty and hot about it.

I panted heavily.

But Sebastian didn't stop there. He let his mouth travel to my jawline and nibbled at it gently.

"Y/N," he whispered hotly against my skin, making pleasant shivers run down my arched back.

The last of the sunlight was chased away by the night sky, and little shiny specks began appearing throughout the dark blue over our heads. Yet the faraway stars glowed nowhere quite as bright as the pair of blood red orbs that devoured every inch of my skin with their burning gaze.

Letting me have a minute to replenish my lungs with oxygen, Sebastian cravingly forced his mouth on mine again. His hands pulled on my clothes as if anticipating them gone, as his lean hips rolled against mines, provoking a small gasp from me.

The demon's hot chest vibrated as he growled in approval and let the depth of his boundless desire become readable on his tongue and lips.

Nothing around me seemed real anymore. It was just me, Sebastian and the blissful feeling taking over every part if me.

"Kiss me back," Sebastian moaned hotly against my mouth and hovered above my lips in invitation for me to take over.

Shit. I did not expect this. What am I supposed to do?

Just as I tried to gather my thoughts, my mind decided to go completely blank. The only thing floating there was the damned theorem of pythagoras, yet I highly doubted it would come in helpful.

"Try doing what I did," Sebastian suggested softly, seeing right through me as always.

I eyed his glistening, curvy lips.

Deep breaths; you can do this.

Hesitantly and with vigilant care, I gently took his top lip with my mouth, then encompassed his bottom and soothed it with my tongue after giving it a trying bite.

Sebastian hummed in favor.

He guided my tongue inside of him, inciting me to feel and to explore. Mind hazy and taken over by the heat, I didn't stop myself from tracing the line of his fangs, or treating him with the same gentle suctions which he introduced me to, earlier.

I only realized I was missing air when my lungs reminded me of it. Unwillingly pulling away, we both panted heavily, our hot breaths mingling in the small space between us.

A mix of deep satisfaction and slight dazzlement was readable in Sebastian's soft stare.

Only now did I come to realize that I was tightly clutching his shirt in my fists. I deliberately let go of it and jerkily retrieved my hands back to my sides, releasing a shaky breath.

"Don't fret, Y/N, you're a natural at it," the demon murmured, a proud smile slowly drawing itself on his porcelain face.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him despite totally melting on the inside.

At that very moment and without the slightest warning, a deafening roar of thunder crushed the stillness of the night like a cannonball striking a gong, almost giving me a genuine heart attack.
