Charity Barnham drove to the house where Adam and his sister lived with their soulmates, Spencer and Leona. As Spencer and Sky were away to work, and Adam was looking over a script he was to audition for, Leona had the same script, so she was aiming for a lead female role in said movie, "My Love" a romantic comedy movie. Leona just finished baking a fresh batch of double chocolate chip muffins. Just after she fully decorated them....

The doorbell rang....

Leona Harris's Point of View:

Thank goodness I finished the muffins, as the doorbell rang, so I volunteered to open up to the guest at the door. And I find a woman standing in a tailored fit suit, she looks like a lawyer or paralegal of some kind. So I say to her, "Hello, my name's Leona Harris, how may I help you, ma'am?" She shakes my hand, and replies, "I'm here to speak to Mr Driver, Ms. Harris, may I come in? My name is Mrs Charity T. Barnham, I'm Mr Driver's lawyer and attorney at law, will you please summon him for me?" "Come on in, Mrs. Barnham, I'll go and get him, and put the kettle on for coffee, I just made a batch of double chocolate chip muffins, would you like one?" She replied, "I'd love that, thank you." So I directed her to the lounge and she takes a seat.

I went to Adam and said to him, "your attorney at law, Mrs Charity T Barnham is here to see you, my love." He replied, "I'll be there lickety split, thanks for informing me." I nodded and he goes to the lounge and I made the refreshments, and bought them to the room.

Adam Driver's Point of View:

As soon as I saw Charity, she has a grave look on her face, I asked her, "are you alright, Mrs Barnham? That look says something is wrong." Charity says to me, "I understand that your divorce was tough, but it was rougher for  your son. Since the divorce, the judge that gave Joanne custody of your young son, made an unholy mistake doing so. Miranda Powers has spoke to the young new judge that made the custody ruling, and he's sorry, I have some disturbing evidence of your ex-wife hurting him and denying him nutrients he need to grow up big and strong. Also physical injuries, suggest that she beats him." As Leona sat next to me, she upsets easy, and when she heard this a tear leaves her eye. She says, "who would hurt such a darling little boy like him?" And she began to cry, as she hates how people can be so cruel. "A neighbor who stopped by, heard the disturbing noise and got the police involved, and they took Joanne away and I have your son well looked after at my office by a young paralegal assistant, Pheonix should be bought to you. He needs a stable family, no abuse, Leona is great with kids, right? How would she fare as a kind, living and understanding stepmother to your son?" I nodded, and reply, "she loves kids and animals, she's able to cook the high nourishing meals for to help my son to recover."

Charity Barnham's Point of View:

Adam's beautiful fiancée Leona cried when she heard from me, what happened to Phoenix so down to business, I say to Adam, "the child custody department of the Sheriff Court, is summoning you to appear to appeal to remove Pheonix from the mother's custody, and move him into yours and Leona's custody. The hearing is this afternoon time to go."

3rd person Point of View:

At the family court of the New York Sheriff Court....

All hell broke loose when Joanne gave her plea, but it was the evidence the police had against her that would cost her child custody.

Judge Miranda Powers Point of View:

I sat at the judge's desk, and the attorneys for the opposing parties, Charity T Barnham is the rep for Adam and Leona, where as Gerard R. Wright was Joanne's attorney, and as charity's paralegal assistant was in her office with Pheonix, we can get this done in a civilized way, without any grief. With the physical injuries and emotional stress on the boy, I would say it'll be an advantage for Barnham, to remove Pheonix from Joanne's custody and suspend all her visitation rights permanently, and fire her from the acting career and a 6 year jail sentence for child distress and neglect.

Time skip:

Adam Driver's Point of View:

After the pleas and appeals, Leona is so upset about how badly Pheonix was treated. (Play this song as a way of how she felt.)

Eventually the jury said that jail time should be doubled to 12 years, and permanently fire her from all careers in acting and other jobs, and all visitation rights permanently suspended. A jury member says, "honourable judge Miranda Powers, we have a verdict. We have decided that, due to all the evidence provided by a neighbor and the photos of all injuries inflicted on the child, the majority of the jury has spoken. Ms tucker, your visitation rights are permanently suspended pending the start of your 12 year prison sentence, and your driver's license is null and void as of today, and the removal of the child from your custody effective immediately." Miranda nods and says, "Joanne Tucker, I am sorry to inform you that you are permanently no longer the primary custodian of Pheonix Driver, you are hereby sentenced to 12 years in prison for neglect of the child, and physical violence inflicted on him, and that custody of Phoenix Driver will now be in his father, Adam Driver, and his fiancée Leona Harris. Case dismissed." So Adam and Leona sign the legal documents and custody has been handed over to Adam.

Leona Harris's Point of View:

Now that the papers were signed, we will be able to bring my stepson home, and his father is happy that we got him away from Joanne. He never deserved that, nobody does though. I know first aid and how to cook high energy nutrition food to help him heal faster. I love the name our son has, it means risen warrior, risen from the ashes. From the mythical fire bird.

So Adam's lawyer took us back to her office to collect Pheonix, and I saw how cute he is, he's so adorable.... He runs over to us and he quickly hugs me and Adam. I introduced myself to Phoenix, saying, "hello, Phoenix, my name is Leona Harris... I'm going to help your dad take care of you, you have an auntie who works for the grace general hospital team... Like your father, I'm an actor as well." Pheonix replies, "may I call you mother? I know you are kind... Please take me home....." I hug him, and say, "but of course we will." Adam picked up Pheonix and put him in the car, and we went home and Leona cooks Phoenix his first dinner with the family.

Adam Driver's Point of View:

We got my son! We won custody after the court was settled, we took Phoenix home and Leona gave him his dinner, and he smiles now that he is in a stable home environment. He said to me, "dad, you're lucky to have Leona. She's just so pretty, and shed make a great mother... A real mother, not like... Her who had me before."  We all shared a family hug, just as Sky came home from work with Spencer.
