PARTY

Karan drove to the party place straight from the academy.He doesn't want to go to his home after what he spoke to her. So he got his outfit and accessories with him as he decided to get ready in the suit where the party is being held.

Buttoning up his suit,he saw himself in the mirror.He looks dashing in the black suit.He smiled a little seeing the man in the mirror but .........it didn't reach his eyes.His eyes are showing emptiness,he is missing something.

Karan(tracing himself on the mirror): something is missing......what is it?

Shaking his head,he called sameer to know where he is.

Karan: Sammy....where are you?

Sammy: Bhai I am on the way.I will be there in 30.

Karan: achaa.......

Sammy: haaa....

Karan: Ok

Sammy: Ok bhai.....Bye.

Karan(stammers): W.....wa....wait sammy

Sammy: ha bhai bolo

He stammers as he wants to ask about preetha.He told sameer to bring preetha with him as he was not going and that's the reason he called sameer to know about her but now he was wondering whether to ask about her or not.

Sammy: Bhai mein drive kar raha hu bolo kya bolna hein?

Karan: a.....ab.....ab kuch nai.aa ja jaldi mein wait kar raha hu.

Sammy: Ok then!

He puts off the phone and thinks about her,

Karan: Sameer ke saath hi hogi..........party mein dekhlunga!

He sighs and goes to meet his team mates.

The party started.Many officials,eminent cricketers,renowned sponsors are present with media clicking them leaving no one.The host welcomed all of them and after which speeches started.The prominent personalities gave their word and appreciations to BCI.After a while,they were left to enjoy themselves.

Karan is speaking and laughing with everyone but his eyes are searching for Sameer.He is waiting, to say clearly he is desperately waiting for him maybe for someone else.

Karan(mind): Kaha reh gaya? (glancing his watch) bahot time hogaya ab bhi nai aaya......sameer!

He is getting angry at sameer when he saw him entering the hall,he excuses and goes to him,

Karan: Where the hell are you sammy? Itna late?

Sammy: Wohh! kya bhai aap aathe hi daant rahe ho mujhe......

Karan: Shut up and tell me why are you late?

Sammy: Cool bhai........traffic mein fas gaya hu isiliye lat hua.

Karan: Ok ..........

And he looks around him,behind him but he didn't find her,he frowns and thinks where is she?

Sammy: Bhai.......lets go inside.

Karan(coming out of thoughts): ha.....ha.....w...woh pree...preetha kaha hein?

Sammy: Achaaa.......aap babhi keliye wait kar rahe ho?

Karan: No......no..not like that.wo....

Sammy(smiling): aap tension math lo mein samaj saktha hu..........but i am sorry aap kiskeliye wait kar rahe ho wo nai aayi!

Karan: What?

Sameer: Actually meine babhi ko pucha hein bhai but wo nai kiya mere saath aane par keh rahi thi ki wo akele aayegi.meine bahot koshish ki usse manane ki par wo.........

Karan understood what could have happened and he fists his palms angrily closing his eyes,

Karan: ye ladki.........

He is angry and disappointed.

Karan: Bilkul dumbo hein.Kisiki baath nai maanegi.......aane do fir bathatha hu.Idiot!

He huffs angrily and looks at the entrance,he then sees sameer who is smiling at him,

Karan: kya?

 Sameer: Aap babhi se ladne bina ek din bhi nai rahega naa?

Karan: mein nai thumhara babhi nai rahegi mujhe lade bina.........ek din bhi nai hein wo mujhse sweetly baath kare.jab dekho ladthi rehthi hein ya lectures deti rehthi hein jaise ki mein koi uska student hu.Matlab.......I am the karan luthra.par usko koi value hi nai hein.Hadd hein!

Sameer: Achaa..........fir aap usse baath karthe kyun ho? You can avoid her!

Karan: Of....of....ofcourse i am avoiding her.(mind) Isiliye tho ghar nai aaya hu mein.

Sameer:  You are avoiding her.....but how? mujhe tho nai lagtha........aap babhi ke baare mei fikar karthe ho,uski khyaal rakhthe ho,uski baare mein sochthe ho aur aaj bhi aap nai aa paya lekin mujhe bola tha babhi ko pick karne because you care for her.aur ab dekho itna tense ho rahe ho.......

Karan gets irritated by his words,

Karan: Just shut up sammy.......bilkul bakwas bol rahe ho thum.yaha mein itni tense ho raha hu lekin thum! 

Karan is really annoyed that preetha didn't come with him,irritated by his words and tensed as she didn't show up till now.Just then,a server comes with drinks,without thinking anything he takes one and drinks in a go but spits some in the same speed.Sameer laughs while karan cleans his mouth. 

Sameer: Bhai........aap .....aap babhi keliye itna desperate ho rahe ho ki.........aap beer samjke red wine peeya.

Karan glares him,

Karan: Shut up.......mein abhi atha hu.

He goes to washroom very annoyed.He refreshes himself and sees the mirror.

Karan(mind): Yeh sammy kuch zyada hi bola raha tha.Ughhh.........kya bol raha tha ki mein uski care kartha hu,khyal raktha hu etc etc(thinks about their moments) par.......... mein tho kartha hu na par mein kyun kartha hu? She was my best friend that's why.........waise hein kaha wo? abhi tak nai aayi.Phone karu kya? Nai mein nai karungaaa.......agar mein karu tho bahot attitude dikhayegi.hmmm.....

Looking himself again at mirror,he walks out to the hall.He meets a friend in his way when he glances a person coming inside.He again speaks to his friend and suddenly realizes that person is  ...................Preetha.He quickly sees at her direction and widen his eyes.He was dumbfounded.

Preetha is in a chocolate brown designer sari with a golden touch.She is wearing a neck piece and matching ear rings with a watch and brace.She left her hair loose and with a clutch in her hand,she looked simply stunning.Half of the party looked at her and murmured only a word "Beautiful". 

Seeing her,a content smile stole karan's lips.This time it reached his eyes and he felt content at heart too.She is holding herself very gracefully while greeting her collegues,officials making karan's smile wider.Unknowingly,he starts to move in her direction,

 While she finishes greeting them sameer comes suddenly,

Sameer: Hey babhi

She is surprised listening him,

Preetha: Sameer thum? 

Sameer smiles chirpily.

Sameer: thum itni late kyun aayi ?

Preetha(sighs): Kya bathau cab mein aayi hu na..... 

Sameer: Isiliye meine bola ki mere saath aao lekin thum mere baath nai suni. 

Preetha: Kisiko nai pata ki hamara rishta kya hein aur mein bhi nai chahtha hu ki sab ko pata chale isiliye meine mana kiya......I am sorry.

Sameer(smiles): I understand!

Preetha: and also mujhe babhi math bulao yaha (sameer frowns) the same reason you know.I don't want anybody to know about me.

Sameer: But kisi din pata chalegi na bhai aur thumhara rishtha?

Preetha(mind): Rishta? hein kya?

Preetha: I don't want unnecessary attention now.

Sameer nods.

Sameer: waise aap bahot khubsurat lag rahe ho(preetha smiles) agar karan bhai dekh liya tho fattu ho jayega.

Preetha's smile disappears and sees other side where karan is coming staring at her,

Karan joins them while sameer noticing their staring excuses himself,they look into each others eyes forgetting the people,the party and the world itself.Preetha comes out of it and lowers her head immediately,she starts to speak in a very low voice, 

Preetha: K.....kya?

Karan(whispering): K....kya?

Preetha: a....aise kyun dekh rahe ho?

Karan: kaise dekh raha hu?

She again looks into his eyes who are just seeing her,she flushes a little expecting him to compliment her.They get lost again.A loud noise brings them back to the world,they both then look in different directions but doesn't speak anything.He wants to tell her a lot,compliment her but words seemed to not leave his mouth.

Karan: wo......mmm......aa.........wo......

Preetha is waiting very badly wishing to listen him,

Preetha: hmmmmmm?

Karan: wo thum...thum....khub (he stops in the middle) kaha thi thum? itni late kyun aayi ?meine bola na party 7 se shuru hothi hein fir bhi late kyun aayi?

Preetha is surprised and disappointed badly.She is waiting for him to compliment whereas he was asking some stupid questions annoying her,she huffs.

Preetha(mind): meine kya socha aur yeh kya bol raha hein? Mistake is yours preetha......thum galath insaan se expect kiya.

Karan(seeing no response from her): hello meine kuch pucha.....jawab do!

Preetha:  haaa........mein.....

Karan: haa thum....late kyun aayi?

and this irritates preetha,

Preetha: thumhe kya? mein der aau ya pehle? thumhe kya? thum kyun puch rahe ho? thum principal ho kya late ayi bachi ko punishment deni keliye hmm? For your kind information......you are not a principal and i am not a student so don't behave like that.Understand?

She says in a go and turns to walk irritatingly when karan holds her hand,she turns to see him,he is annoyed,irritated and mainly angry.She tries to free herself but he holds her tightly and make her walk with him.As there are so many people present,she doesn't speak anything and goes with him quietly until they reach a secluded place which is distant from everyone.

Preetha(whispering yells): Mera haath chodo!

  Karan grips her hand more tightly,

Preetha: Ahh......karan dard ho raha hein.Leave me!

He leaves her hand and holds her shoulder,

Karan: Shut up! meine simple sa ek sawal pucha hein thum jawab dene bajay bakawas bol rahi thi.........just tell me why are you late?

Seeing into his eyes,she is little bit afraid,

Preetha: T.....t....c.....cab late aa gayi!

He grips her shoulders tightly,

karan(glaring): meine sameer ko bola tha ki thumhe lane par thum uska baath nai maani kyun? Kyun mana kiya.......?

Preetha(firmly): Kyunki mein ek mamul ladki hu aur mein nai chahthi ki log mere baare mein kuch ulta soche.

Karan(frowns):  matlab?

Preetha: matlab yeh hein ki.........hamare baare mein kisiko nai pata.agar meine thumhari car ya thumhari bhai ki car mein aathi tho media kuch aur likhegi,log kuch aur hi sochega and clearly i don't want that to happen because kal thumhari zindagi se mere jaane ke baad mujhe ek peaceful life chahiye without the name "karan luthra" in it.

Karan was stunned and shocked by her words,she told it very clearly and confidently as if it's going to happen for real. 

karan(afraid): k......kya bol rahe ho? 

Preetha: Hamara future.......... sorry sorry mera future!

He couldn't digest what she was saying,he leaves her shoulders immediately,she leaves from there without looking at him.She walks away with tears in her eyes.

Preetha(mind): You deserve this karan..........mujhe bahot hurt kiya thum.jab mein sochne lag rahi thi ki hamara beech kuch tho acha chal raha hein thum galath prove karthe ho.sab mujhe yaad dilathe ho.meri parivaar ko hurt kiya.mein thumhare saath nai reh saktha.hame door rehna 

Determining herself,she wipes her tears and joins the party again. 

Karan(mind): yeh.....yeh kya bol rahi thi? ye....yeh ja rahi hein......sach mein ja rahi hein matlab uss din krithika se boli har baath sach thi.par kyun ja rahi hein? agar jaani hi hein tho aayi kyun? kyun aayi ho thum preetha mere ghar mein zindagi mein..........but mujhe kyun itna farak pad raha hein? 

He feels something on his cheeks,he touches them and realizes that they are tears.....his tears.

Karan(to himself):aansu......mera....... mein kyun ro raha hu? mein preetha keliye kyun ro raha hu? (wiping tears)nahi nahi......mein nai rounga.thum kaise ja sakthe ho? mein jaane nai dunga itni aasani se nai. mere sawal ka jawab dena padega thum.hmm dena padega........thumne mujhe bahot hurt kiya hein preetha mere vishwas se thumne khela hein mein nai jaane dunga thumhe mere jawab dene bina............iss baar nai!

Determining himself he too joins the party.They try to mingle in the party but as harder they try the harder it gets to forget each other.But they speak,laugh,tease with their teams but deep down they don't want all these except each other.  

After a while, karan was chatting with his team mates,

Karan: So saurav kaise lag raha hein yaha? I am sure banglore se behther hi hoga

Saurav: Ofcourse karan........Its very good i am very happy  and (he suddenly sees someone)Hey Manish wo dekho mein isike baare mein baath kar raha tha.

Karan: Kaun?

Manish: Arey karan thum pucho math....... jab se wo ladki party mein ayi hein yeh ladka usi ke baare mein baath kar raha hei.He is crazy man.

Karan: Achaaa.......aathe hi sixer maarne ka plan kar rahe ho.Fast haa......so who's that girl?

Saurav smilingly shows the girl to them.....and she is preetha.Karan gets shocked.

Manish: Arey yeh tho preetha hein?

Sarav: thum use janthe ho?

Manish: Ofcourse hamara pura team jaantha hein......she is our physio.(Saurav smiles widely) But she is married.

Sadness immediately replaces the smile on his face while its vice versa for karan.Karan smiles widely seeing saurav who is seeing preetha keenly,

Saurav: But manish she is not wearing anything related to wedding  like sindhoor or mangalsutr.Maybe you are wrong.

Karan frowns and looks at her,he is right,she is not wearing anything.And it makes him angry,

Manish: No yaar shiv ne bataya ki uski shaadi hogayi hein and i don't know the rest.

Saurav is in his thoughts,

Saurav: Maybe she don't mean her marriage.

Manish: Matlab?

Saurav: Maybe she don't like her husband,this marriage doesn't mean anything to her.

Manish: thum aise kaise keh sakthe ho?

Saurav: Its simple manish.......wo ladki sanskari lag rahi hein matlab wo zaroor shaadi jaise cheezon ko maanegi.aise ladki  tab aisi karthi hein jab wo apni pati ko hate karthi hein ya dono ko beech problems simply jab wo apne shhadi ko wo nai maanthi hein.Otherwise,no girl will do like that.

Manish: Maybe yaar if its true you can have a chance.

Saurav(smiling): I wish that's true.

Karan keeps listening the conversation and his anger reaches to the peaks.He was fuming and about to lash on him when sameer comes to him on the correct time,

Sameer: Excuse me,mein apna bhai ko le chal saktha hu kya?

Manish: Sure

Saurav: Nice to meet you karan.Hope will catch again later.

Karan sees him with anger when sameer calls him again,he nods and leaves with him.He is a walking lava,

Sameer: Kya bhai? meine aapki party mein aaya par aap mujhe company bhi nai de rahe ho?

Karan doesn't respond but sameer could see his anger in eyes.

Sameer(caring): Bhai are you alright?

He still doesn't respond.

Sameer: Bhai aap theek hona? Preetha kaha hein?

Karan(angrily): Preetha......Preetha.....Preetha.....sab ko preetha kyun chahiye haa? 

Sameer is confused and scared by his anger,something happened for sure.

Sameer: aise nai hein bhai.....mein bas.......ok leave it.Come lets have some drinks. 

Sameer taks him to the cocktail counter and order for them,the drinks are chilling but not karan,his mood is really bad,

Sameer: kya hua bhai? aap aise kyu behave kar rahe ho?

Karan: Kuch nai sameer.

Sameer: aapki aur babhi ki ladayi hogayi na firse?

Karan(confused): firse?

Sameer: haa........don't say you forgot what you did in the morning.

karan completely forgets about their morning fight as they fought again a while ago and the conversation between his friends is irritating him to the core , 

Karan: will you please shut up sameer? ham dono ke beech kuch nai hua hein........we are completely fine.

Saying it karan drinks it angrily,he is very very angry when he sees sameer who is looking at him helplessly,

Karan(irritating): Kya hein?

Sameer: Mein bas yeh kehna chahtha hu ki aap mere idol ho mere pyaare bhai ho.Par Preetha bhi meri achi dosth hein usse zyada apki best friend. bas ek baar usse baath karlo.usse ek mauka do explain karne ka.......her side of story is different bhai and i believe it is the truth because i believe her.I request you to believe her once the same as her karan,her bajarbattu,her duffer.

Sameer is really worried with all the happenings in the house which are purely beacause of karan's misunderstandings.He knew everything but couldn't do anything.And now he couldn't stop himself as they are really good people and his dearest ones.He cant see them in pain and spoke his mind.

His words really affected karan.He thought about each and every word sameer told.

Sameer: Bhai aap sun rahe ho na?

Karan came out of his thoughts and glares him,

Karan(angrily): thum usse janthe nai ho sameer.wo ladki sabko apni boli bali chehre se fasathi hein aur dhoka deti hein.She is a betrayer.mein uski baare mein bahot ache se jaantha hu.She is not what she looks like.

Sameer looks at him unbelievably,

Sameer: She is right...........you never understood her bhai.Not you but she doesn't deserve you.

Sameer goes away to Luthra Mansion as he is not at all interested in this.His brother really changed no sherlyn has changed karan and he was really worried about what happens next.

While karan saw him going,but his words stayed with karan.

wo shaadi nai maanthi hein.

Believe her like once you believed her.

She doesn't deserve you.

He keeps on thinking his words when he saw preetha speaking to shiv laughingly.He glares them while their words keeps on ringing.

He gets frustrated,angry.And to control himself,he takes wine shots.After few minutes,he looks around.He is completely conscious but slightly blurred.He got cooled instantly and looked around.The ambience was happy and cheerful.Most of the officials were already gone,the cricketers were busy with their partners and some are with other girls.He saw the dance floor which is with couples dancing delightfully to the songs.He smiled a little seeing them and then he heard her laugh........though there was music,though there were people around,he could see her and listen her.His eyes observes her and just says one thing........"Pretty".He chuckles to himself and it quickly gets replaced by anger when he observed her still speaking with Shiv.He gets angry and fists his palms.

Just then,he hears a song,

The song cools down him.He listens to the lyrics keenly .He looked at her,he really thought where would he go leaving her.Can he leave her? Can he be happy without seeing her?

He slowly stood up,he is conscious but the sudden intake make him slur a bit,he shakes his head and gains his composure again.He starts walking towards her,she frowns seeing him coming but ignores.Standing infront of her,he takes her without her permission and moves towards dance floor.She is shocked at first and tries to get rid of his hold calmly but he doesn't seem to leave her.Reaching the floor,he leaves her hand and gently pulls her through waist.

Preetha(whispering): Chodo mujhe kya kar rahe ho?

Karan: Just .....just hear the song and look into my eyes.

Preetha observes his tone,it's a bit sluggish and drowsy.She then hears the song,

She looks at himwho is already staring her deeply.His eyes are different today,she couldn't decipher what they are feeling but his stare is hard.

She moves with him lightly and feeling his hard gaze she turns herself not able to look at him.

He knows she is uncomfortable with his gaze as she turned her back to him,he chuckled and wraps his arms around her waist and moves his face close to her.

She closes her eyes feeling him,with him back hugging her moving their legs slightly,a small smile stole her lips.

After a light moment,he turns her to himself in a swift move and holds her waist gently.He sees that she closed her eyes and he smiled at her.He moves close to her ear and whispers,

Karan: Open your eyes baby doll!

She opens her slowly only to get lost in his.

As for the song or maybe he felt,he offered his hand to her signing her to hold his hand.As she understood his feelings or just for dance,she hold his hand.They smile not through their lips but with their eyes.Their eyes screamed happiness which they felt whenever they are near to each other and this time,his happiness seemed different to her.

 par iss safar me kabhee na hongee koyee abb duriya

He twirls her and they stops at a distance with their hands holding. They move to the song without staring or listening anything except their eyes and their breathing.His eyes are expressing so many that preetha felt different,while she is lost in his eyes he pulls her to him and holds her closely.

She is in his embrace,closing her eyes,all their moments come infront of her.How she used to be with him where there is no place for worries.She really missed him.

Shama tujhko khinchtee hai aaja,

Looking into his eyes,she remembered the happy life she spent with him.Their meet, fights, his care,their happiness and his trust...........a smile is about to steal her lips when this word triggered the worst memories of her.His accuses,his words, betrayal bringing tears in her eyes, she comes out of thoughts listening the applause then she once pushes him back and goes away.

She goes away to a corner and calms down.

Preetha(mind): Why are you doing this karan? 

She composes herself and forces a smile on her face and decides to leave.She turns back only to find karan glaring at her.She is first shocked and afterwards confused but decides to ignore,she walks past him when he holds her hand,she sees him angrily,

Preetha: Haath chodo mera!

Karan starts walking with her or to say dragging her with him.She is shocked for few seconds but gets angry and yells at him,

Preetha: chodo  karan.....kya ka rahe ho thum?

Preetha: karan chodo mujhe......

He ignores her words and continues walking till they were in his suit. He locks the door still holding preetha and comes inside the bedroom.Preetha by that time was fully mad at him.

Preetha(shouts): Just leave me karan! 

Preetha uses her full force and frees her hand from his tight grip.She has tears in eyes not because of the marks she got on her hands but because of him.

Preetha(mad): thumhe idea bhi hein ki thum kya karne ja rahe ho? haa......mujhe yaha kyun layi ? Mere haath kyun nai choda jab meine kitne baar chodne ko kaha? why don't you just leave me?

Karan pulls her through shoulders and see her actually glare her with fire in his eyes,

Karan(shouts): Because i don't want to leave you.

Preetha gets scared listening his shout,but compose herself,

Preetha: Kyun nai chodna hein mujhe?kyun....... meri zindagi tho barbaad kar di na thum ab bhi thumhe tasilli nai mili kya? aur kitna barbaad karne ka soch rahe ho?

Karan(angrily): meine kuch barbaad nai kiya hein infact i saved you from that prithvi.waise thum ye rone ki natak kyun kar rahe ho yaha meri mom,dad koi bhi nai heina? fir bhi kyun? kis ko patana hin thumhe iss boli bali chehre dikhake?

Preetha(angrily): Shut up karan luthra! kya baath kar rahe ho thum? mujhe kisiko nai patana hein mein aise soch bhi nai sakthi hu.agar thum bhul gaye tho mein yaad dilau ki i am married and that too to you.mein aise kyun sochungi?

He leaves her but his eyes don't leave her,

Karan(mimicks): Married that too to me..........(gritting his teeth)meine nai bhula yeh baath par thum bhul gayi ho sab ko dikhane bhul gayi ho ki thum married ho.thum ek shaadi shudha ladki ho aur thum shaadi ki related kuch tho pehenna hein taki log ko pata sake lekin nai........... thumhe tho following chahiye naa.sab thumhe hi dekhna heina?

Preetha(gritting teeth): What the hell are you talking karan? 

Karan(mocking): thum yeh innocent acting mere saamne math karo.kuch der pehle thum bol rahi thi ki thum married ho aise kaise sochunga? agar thum sach mein maanthe hein ki thum married ho then thumhara mangalsutr kaha hein......haa? 

She is confused as why he is asking her suddenly but she is angry,

Preetha: mein pehenu ya na pehnu thumhe kya? thum nai maanthe ho na iss shaadi ko then why are you questioning me?

Karan: thum bolo.......thum nai maanthe ho na?

He pulls her close and she sees his eyes,they show pain and fear,she don't want to answer that question,

Preetha(calm but firm): mein iss shaadi sherlyn ki sachai lane keliye ki..........

Interrupting her,he asks no demands the answer holding her tightly,

Karan(low but dangrous): meine pucha hein ki thum maanthe ho ya nai?

Preetha is angry,really angry,he pushes him and yells,

Preetha: mein maanthi hu ya nai thumhe kya? haa...........mujhe shaadi karke mahira se shaadi karne keliye tayar hogaya tha thum.ab kya hua? mujhe aise kyun puch rahe ho ki jaise thum maanthe ho iss rishthe ko jab ham dono ko pata ki thumhe kuch farak hi nai padtha.So don't show me this bloody attitude to me.mein thumhari parivaar walon jaise nai hu ki sab kuch sehlunga........mein yeh shaadi sirf apni begunnah sabit karne keliye kiya hein,kuch aur din mein saabit karke chali jaungi thumhari zindagi se until then Better stay away from me.

Karan(gritting teeth): Mujhe yeh math kaho ki mein kya karna hein kya nai and mahira se shaadi mein nai karna chahtha tha.It was bua's plan jab thumne wo alimony papers bheja tha.mujhe bahot gussa aaya wo papers dekhke aur meine ha bola bas.mujhe kuch intention hi nai tha usse shaadi karne ka it was because of you i was about to marry her.That's it......

She was dumbfounded listening about the alimony.She is confused. 

Preetha(stammers and lowly): What? me......meine kuch papers hi nai bheji.

Karan: achaa chalo mein maanthi hu ki thum nai bheji wo papers iska matlab thum hamare shaadi ko maanthi ho?

He is not leaving the question and she knows she has to answer it,closing her eyes,

Preetha: na......nai.mein nei maanthi hu.

She opens her eyes sensing nothing from him only to find painful eyes of karan which immediately turn to rage. 

Karan: hmmm pata hein mujhe...........pata hein ki thum aise hi natak karogi.thum aise hi ladki ho jiskeliye kisi aur ke feelings ki kadar nai hothi.Sirf thum,thumhara khushi thumhari zindagi bas koi aur tho insaan hi nai hein.sab kuch apni matlab keliye karthe ho.kyun aayi ho yaha haa? kyun meri parivaar ke saamne achi bahu hone ka natak kar rahi ho? Sherlyn aur thum kya plan banayi iss baar haa? thum thakthe nai ho aise naatak karke karke?

She is fed up this time with everything in her life.Without her knowledge,many things happened she couldn't stop them.She is tired of his accuses and her defence.Tears flow down seeing her state,wiping them she pushes him and returns the angry glares,

Preetha(frustrated): Shut up..........just shut up! kuch bhi natak nahi tha aur nahi hein.aise kaise keh rahe ho thum haa? do saal mein thum mujhe itna hi samajaya bas itna.Arey mein thumhari saath thi karan do saal.......do saal ki dosthi do minute mein thod diya tha thum sherlyn ke baathon pe vishwas karke.Kyun?itna kamzor hein hamara rishtha?kyun mujhe itna dard de rahe ho.......aur kitna doge aise baath kehke.Mujhe uss galthi keliye saza de rahe ho jisse meine kuch kiya hi nai hein........kyun?itna bhi trust nahi hein mujhpe?

Listening her,karan chuckles but his eyes betray his smile showing tears.

Karan: Trust..........trust ke baare mein thum mujhe puch rahe ho.....ha?kya thumne mujhe vishwas kiya prithvi ke baare mein? vishwas kiya jab meine kaha ki wo ek cheater hein ek criminal hein wo bas thumhare zindagi ke saath khel raha tha?Nahi........agar kiya hotha tho hamare zindagi aise nai hothe.thum baath kar rahe ho trust ke baare mein jisko mere upar thoda sa bhi vishwas nai hein!(points his finger) But you know what I trusted you.meine thumhe vishwas kiya hein har cheej pe no matter whether it is about monisha or sherlyn or my very own bua.thumhari har baath pe vishwas kiya meine.

Karan: Ek baath bathao thumhe pata heina Rishab mereliye kya hein? Rishab meri zindagi hein.mein usse har pal kush dekhna chahtha tha.Sherlyn uskeliye sahi nai hein.Uski aur prithvi ki affair chal raha hein. mujhe pata hein yeh baath aur meine kitna koshish ki sab ko yeh baath prove karne lekin koi bhi meri baath nai maani...........akhir thum bhi.Finally,mujhe ek proof milgaya sherlyn ke khilaaf aur meine uska zimmedari thumpe diya tha because i had trust on you.I believed you with my life,with rishab's happiness.par thum........thumne mujhe dhoka diya tha.thumhe kya lagtha hein yeh sab mereliye easy hein,do you even know how it feels when your best friend,the most special person in your life betrays you? Do you know how much it pains? Thumhari wajah se Rishab ki shaadi hogayi fir dad ka accident,mere zindagi ka do strong pillars mere hi saamne barbaad ho raha tha......do you know how it feels seeing them? It kills preetha.(she sees the angry tears in his eyes but he turns away) koi bhi nai hein mujhe sambhalne........thum bhi nai ho.uss wakth thum kya kar rahi thi...........shaadi karne jaa rahi thi.thumhe pata bhi hein mera haal kya tha jab thumne apni wedding card pakad ke mere ghar aayi thi .I was devasted knowing about your marriage.meine thumhe mana kiya shaadi karne ko lekin thum nai sunithi.mujhe itna gussa aaya ki mere man mein man mein bas ek ki soch tha ki thumhara shaadi rokna hein aur meine rokliya tha thumhe shaadi karke.

He turns to her and sees her eyes,

Karan:mein thumhe dard dena chahtha tha thumhe bejatti karke thumhara dil thodna chahtha tha but you know what thumhare saath saath mera dil bhi toot gaya.thumhare har aansu akele nai hein preetha mera aansu bhi saath tha .....................abhi bhi.mujhe laga thumhe dard mein dekhkar mujhe kushi ho jaathi hein lekin aise kuch bhi nai hua......jab bhi thum dard mein hothi thi mein bhi dard mein hotha tha.I don't know why but i am scared..........I was scared to lose you.I don't want you to leave me no matter how many problems we have in between.mein thumhe believe karna chahtha hu par mujhe rishab yaad aatha hein aur mujhe gussa aa jatha hein lekin mein kya karu ek taraf mera bhai aur doosri taraf thum.......kisko chunu mein? I am seeing hell preetha.............hamare beech kitne bhi problems hein hein mein nai chahtha thum mujhse door rahe,baath na kare.Lekin thum.......har baar mujhse door jaane ka sochthe ho kyun?agar jaani hein tho ayi kyun meri zindagi mein jab mein finally mahira se shaadi karna jaa raha tha haa..........kyun aayi ho?  Why do you always keep on saying Leave me Leave me? Why can't you just say.........."Hold me" for once? 

Preetha stands rooted to her place seeing his eyes which has just pain.......nothing else.Everything around was stilled at that moment when she heard those words from.Preetha suddenly falls on her knees and revive everything what he said.All these days she just thought he was doing all this for his revenge but not the pain he was going through.And realizing it she cries,karan realizing what he said he too falls down infront of her and they both cry for their own misfortunes. Silence prevails in the room and they can just listen their heartbeats.After a while,he composes and starts to speak,

Karan: mujhe pata hein ki thum nai maanthe ho iss shaadi......

Before his sentence gets completed,she pulls his collor roughly to a fiercy kiss.Karan is shocked at first and didn't respond but when she doesn't leave him and he kisses her back.They both pour the pain,their tears and their longing for each other.They needed it the most.He pulls her closely and it turns out to be beautiful kiss.Preetha tries to come out for breathing but karan doesnt leave her,she too doesn't want to come out of the kiss and she wraps her hands around his neck for support and murmurs something into his lips.

Preetha: Hold me karan......

Karan gets shocked listening it and about to come out of the kiss when preetha doesn't leave him and murmurs without his lips and looking into his eyes ,

Preetha: I said hold me.........

Karan first hears it,understands it and then realizes what she is saying.He smiles widely,

Karan: I can't leave you!

He wraps his hands tightly around her waist and kisses her back sealing an unknown known relation.
